Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian dan pembuatan alat pemeras jeruk berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang akan digunakan sebagai pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini melibatkan mitra penjual sari jeruk. Alat yang dibuat diberi nama Smart Lemon autoMaker System (SLaM?s) Berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Dari komponen yang digunakan dalam pembuatan pemeras jeruk, maka sensor lidar yang bisa direkomendasikan sebagai penerima sinyal berupa tegangan analog dari beban berbasis Arduino Uno yang mengubah tegangan analog menjadi digital berhasil dibuat dengan hasil yang baik. Dari hasil analisis perhitungan dan pengukuran diperoleh waktu proses minimal 20 detik untuk menghasilkan air perasan jeruk.

Abstract

This research aims to explore increasing activeness and practical skills through the application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach, with a focus on literature review. This research will explore literature related to the concept and implementation of PjBL in an educational context, as well as evaluate its impact on students' activeness in learning and development of practical skills. Through descriptive analysis, this research will examine various empirical studies, theories, and conceptual frameworks that support the effectiveness of PjBL in increasing students' active participation and development of practical skills. The focus of the research will also highlight aspects such as project management, collaboration between students, application of technology, as well as the role of teachers and the learning environment in supporting the implementation of PjBL. The results of this research are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the potential of PjBL in increasing student activity and developing practical skills , as well as providing practical guidance for educators to implement learning models that suit their respective contextual needs. It is hoped that the conclusions of this research can provide a significant contribution to the development of curriculum and learning practices that are more oriented towards student empowerment and contextual problem solving.

Abstract

This research aims to design an automatic helmet dryer that uses PID-based temperature control to maintain a stable temperature at a setpoint of 45°C, especially in rainy season conditions that often make helmets wet and damp. A damp helmet has the potential to become a breeding ground for fungi and bacteria, as well as causing unpleasant odors and health problems. This tool controls the temperature using a PID controller with a BTS7960 driver module with temperature readings from a DHT22 sensor. The Ziegler-Nichols tuning method produces initial constant values Kp=7.64, Ki=0.1273, and Kd=114.6, but fine tuning is required to achieve the best constants Kp=100, Ki=1, and Kd=114.6. The test results show that the open face helmet can dry in 68 minutes with a final humidity of 38.9%, and the system response was 1,1% overshoot, 0 °C steady-state error, 246 seconds rise time, and 561 seconds settling time. Abstract

The use of teaching aids in implementing learning can arouse new desires and interests in learning, arouse motivation and learning stimuli, and bring psychological influences to students. This study aims to improve students' understanding of roof components through 3D Sketchup and teaching aids. The research in the first and second cycles was conducted in one meeting, including planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The collection of information about students' understanding was obtained by providing a questionnaire of students' responses to the understanding of roof truss objects quantitatively. The results of the questionnaire given to students regarding the understanding of imagining real objects in roof truss construction before learning, 52.94% chose scale 1 (very much do not understand) and 47.06% chose scale 2 (do not understand). While the results of the questionnaire given to students regarding the understanding of imagining real objects in roof truss construction after learning, 58.82% chose scale 4 (understand) and 41.18% chose scale 5 (very much understand). Based on the results obtained, the use of 3D sketchup and roof models can improve students' understanding of the components of the roof.
