Abstract

. Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), such as the producer of Bakso Balungan Mak Jah in Tempuran Village, Demak, are increasingly using social media as a key strategy in the digital era. This study aims to analyze the influence of electronic word of mouth (e-WOM) on consumer purchase decisions by considering the mediating role of purchase intention. A quantitative method is used in this research, employing the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach, supported by SmartPLS version 3.2.9. Data were collected from 100 individuals who actively use Facebook. The analysis results show that e-WOM significantly affects both purchase intention and purchase decision. Furthermore, purchase intention partially mediates the influence of e-WOM on purchase decision. The findings indicate that credible and positive online reviews can enhance consumers’ desire to purchase and support better decision-making. This study offers practical recommendations for digital marketing strategies for local SMEs and highlights the importance of managing online reputation.

Abstract

: Intellectual Property Rights are a person's rights to their inventions in the form of works of art, names and symbols used by someone in the world of commerce. A person's work or creation in the field of art, symbols and names has a connection with the world of commerce, so a person's findings or creations, which are considered intellectual property, must be protected so that they are not misused. The rules regarding Intellectual Property Rights are written in the WTO agreement, namely the TRIPs Agreement, which has been in effect since 1995. Indonesia and Singapore are the two countries that participated in ratifying these rules. In Indonesia, patents are regulated in Law No. 13 of 2016 concerning Patents. Meanwhile, the rules regarding patent protection in Singapore are regulated by the Patents Act, which is based on the British Patent Act 1977. Singapore patents are protected internationally under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT). In defining patent law, Indonesia and Singapore have similar characteristics, this is because they both have similarities and significant differences because they both originate from TRIPs. As for the registration system and everything that contains systematics and procedures related to patent law, both have similarities. Indonesia and Singapore also have the same provisions regarding inventors having exclusive economic and moral rights. Keywords: IPR, Patent Law, TRIPs Agreement.

Abstract

This study deeply examines the principles of Tadabbur (contemplation) of Surat Al-Baqarah in Muhammad Ratib An-Nabulsi's exegesis, "Tadabbur Āyātillāh fī al-Nafsi wa al-Kawni wa al-Ḥayāti," and its relevance to contemporary Qur'anic interpretative studies. Tadabbur is essential for holistic Qur'anic comprehension, yet systematic literature on its principles remains limited, especially approaches integrating spiritual, cosmological, and practical life aspects. An-Nabulsi offers a unique methodology bridging sacred texts with modern realities. Employing a qualitative-analytical approach, this study explores An-Nabulsi's Tadabbur principles, highlighting how his exegesis provides a transformative framework for applicable Qur'anic understanding. Findings indicate that An-Nabulsi's principles are highly relevant, offering a new lens for addressing modern human challenges, while enriching the scholarly treasury of tafsir, rendering the Qur'an a dynamic life guide. This research contributes to the development of comprehensive Qur'anic Tadabbur methodologies.

Abstract

Hypertension in the elderly is a condition marked by increased blood pressure due to age-related physiological changes. Common symptoms include headaches, dizziness, blurred vision, fatigue, and chest pain, which serve as subjective data for formulating nursing diagnoses. The aims of this case study is to analyze nursing care for elderly patients with hypertension at the independent nursing practice in Karang Bendo Village, Ponggok District.. The method used is a case study involving four elderly respondents who received comprehensive nursing care, covering assessment, diagnosis, intervention planning, implementation, and evaluation. The respondents had a 4–7-year history of hypertension, with complaints such as dizziness, fatigue, headaches, tingling, and sleep disturbances. Blood pressure readings ranged from 140/85 to 160/95 mmHg. Identified nursing diagnoses included acute pain, risk of falls, fatigue, and disturbed sleep patterns. Nursing interventions were evaluated after each session, showing improved patient conditions and positive outcomes. This case study contributes to the development of geriatric nursing theory, particularly in managing hypertension in older adults, and provides additional evidence of the effectiveness of nursing interventions in controlling blood pressure in the elderly.
