Abstract

Film production is a collaborative work process that involves many workers. Proper management is needed to achieve effective and efficient production results. Organizing is the second function of management work. The film production workers are divided into several departments, one of which is the camera department. In this department, all visual matters are accounted for. Director of Photography (DP) is the leader. Data collection in this research was carried out through archive studies, observations, and interviews. This article discusses how DP symbolically interacted in certain pattern with directors, producers, and crew in the camera department. The discussion uses the five concepts of Blumer's symbolic interaction, namely self-concept, the concept of action; object concept; the concept of social interaction; and the concept of joint action. The results of the discussion from this study indicate that the DP interacts with the director through productive self-appearances, has improved visual aesthetic achievements, and masters the latest equipment through works uploaded on social media. The action shown by the DP to the director as the boss is communicated using the concept language and his efforts to the camera department crew as subordinates are communicated using technical language. The DP interacts with the producer through a work contract; The DP interacts socially symbolically with the broader community through language selection that is adapted to the working environment. Finally, the DP interacts through collective action, working together with one department worker and between departments in a production process so that they can work together to produce a film.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana tim kreatif program Pesta Sahabat (PS) episode 20 Itik dan Kolam Ajaib menghadirkan konten pendidikan bagi anak melalui penataan artistik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui konten pendidikan bagi anak yang dihadirkan tim kreatif melalui penataan artistik berupa tata dekorasi, properti dan tata busana pada setiap item program. PS terdiri dari 3 item program yaitu item story telling, item fragmen, dan item musik dan tari. Konten pendidikan yang dapat dihadirkan oleh tim kreatif melalui penataan artistik pada 3 item program berupa pengalaman berimajinasi mengenai sebuah ruang, bentuk dan warna yang bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan, informasi dan mengembangkan kreatifitas pada anak sehingga dapat mengasah kemampuan visual spasial dengan sebuah tayangan audio visual.

Abstract

The character of the film is important in conveying the story and needs to give an impression to the audience. Characters are created through character development, which results in the development of character characters to create human-like dimensions. This qualitative descriptive study examines the field of cinema which describes Mada’s character in the film Haji Backpacker (2014) based on the pattern of narrative structure. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation and document study. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Hubberman analysis models with a narrative approach in the form of descriptive studies reading the meaning of the text in the film. The reading is done by dividing the film into sequences, then identifying the character of Mada in 3 dimensions. The results of this study are that Mada’s character experiences a developmental process that shows a change from bad character to a better character. The type of change is a growth arc, with many causes of change based on others.Key Words : Character development, 3 dimentions, Haji Backpacker

Abstract

Death is a sure thing to happen. Death became an idea to take advantage of the rest of life by planning, striving, and trying. The purpose of this creation is to how Karsa's film is directed by applying an approach to realism as a reinforcement of the character's character. The realism approach in this film is an attempt to present a story that is as simple and close to reality as possible. The character in the film has a very important role because the character is one of the points that an audience pays attention to. A strong character will make a good impression on a movie. The result of this film is how the realism approach with long take and deep focus shooting techniques can strengthen the character's character through the process of reading, rehearsal, dialogue, and small discussions between the director and the performer. The message to be conveyed to the audience is that death is always close to us and death needs to be prepared. The conclusion of strengthening the Raka character is that it consists of the character of his independence and laziness. Meanwhile, the strengthening of Sarah's character consists of a character who is full of effort, emotion, and illness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan suatu metode pembelajaran seni budaya dalam menyajikan ragam hias tradisi sebagai bahan ajar dalam membuat karya seni. Dengan merestorasi ragam hias tersebut merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan ketertarikan dan minat siswa untuk berkreasi dan berekspresi dalam pembelajaran seni rupa . Ornamen atau ragam hias tradisi berfungsi sebagai hiasan, yang memiliki makna filosofi, namun banyak generasi muda yang tidak mengenal maupun memahami ragam hias tradisi tersebut. Biasanya ragam hias tradisi sering di terapkan dengan menggunakan teknik ukir, dengan begitu saat ini peneliti memiliki ide untuk menerapkan teknik kolase atau menempel dengan menggunakan bahan alam maupun limbah yang ada di sekitar untuk metode pembelajaran seni pada sisiwa SD kelas 4. Penelitian yang dihasilkan peneliti berupa hiasan dinding dengan ragam hias tradisi Madura dan Yogyakarta. Hasil penelitian dari proses pembelajaran ragam hias ini, bahwa dengan metode membuat karya seni kolase dapat menjadi salah satu opsi pembelajaran seni dalam mengenal ragam hias tradisi yang ada di Indonesia.

Abstract

SD Negeri Ketelan 12 Surakarta merupakan sekolah yang berada di tengah-tengah perkotaan tetapi menghadapi masalah kekurangan siswa dan fasilitas yang kurang memadai. Mayoritas guru kurang menguasai IT dan beberapa di antaranya memasuki usia pensiun. Selain itu, para guru kurang memiliki pemahaman terhadap Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila yang menjadi program baru Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi. Oleh sebab itu, permasalahan ini perlu diatasi melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat sesuai dengan tema yang dipilih pihak sekolah, yaitu Kearifan Lokal. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh SDN Ketelan 12 Surakarta. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan secara luring dalam bentuk workshop fotografi dan videografi untuk merekam pembuatan nasi liwet sebagai kearifan lokal makanan tradisional Surakarta. Beberapa faktor pendukung dalam kegiatan ini adalah antusiasme entitas sekolah, yaitu guru dan siswa. Sedangkan faktor penghambat kegiatan adalah siswa masih perlu bimbingan orang dewasa selama projek berlangsung. Kegiatan ini perlu dilanjutkan agar entitas sekolah benar-benar dapat memahami dan mengimplementasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum dari kurikulum tiga belas menjadi kurikulum merdeka yang terjadi di aras bawah menjadikan para pendidik untuk mulai beradaptasi. Permasalahan yang dihadapi adalah perubahan kurikulum yang mengharuskan para guru untuk berinovasi dalam pengembangan media pembelajaran. Media ajar yang ramah peserta didik dan mengikuti perkembangan teknologi perlu diadaptasi. Pengabdian ini menggagas pelatihan pembuatan media ajar audio visual berbasis gubahan lagu sebagai respon kebutuhan tersebut. Enam Sekolah Dasar Negeri di Kecamatan Andong merupakan sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini. Kesemuanya memiliki misi mewujudkan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan untuk meningkatkan capaian bidang literasi dan numerasi. Media ajar berformat audio visual terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa namun keterbatasan kemampuan para guru menjadi kendala dalam inovasinya. Para guru berhasil menggunakan media ajar audio visual yang mampu meningkatkan capaian bidang literasi.
