Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of womens dual roles on family harmony. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this study. The results show the factors that cause women to play a dual role, namely: the economic needs of her family are increasing, she wants to use the knowledge she has, she wants to help her husband meet family needs, she works to fill spare time, her husband dies, her husband an unemployed person. It is not true that the opinion that says that if women work outside the home, the result is that the family situation is not harmonious, because from this research it is proven that the informants families remain harmonious even though they are women who play a dual role. But there are impacts, namely: the closeness to family members, especially with children is reduced, the division of labor at home is reduced, and interaction with the community is also reduced.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) find out the relationship of work with retirement or retirement, (2) know how to prepare for retirement or retirement, (3) know the counselor's strategy in dealing with post power syndrome. This study uses a literature review method with steps; editing, organizing, and research findings, which are analyzed using deductive methods. This study produced findings: (1) a post power syndrome sufferer needs to be reminded that the employment relationship with retirement includes: work that has been carried out and implemented must have a full or retirement period that will arrive when the position or rank will be released at the time determined, working in the Islamic view is not solely referring to seeking sustenance to support themselves and the family but work includes all forms of practice which have an element of worship carrying out the commands of Allah SWT. (2) How to prepare for retirement or full time include: dilating the heart, accepting sincerely, and being aware of the nature of work or the meaning of real work, being positive and optimistic, arranging activities and activities when retirement comes. (3) The counselor's strategy in overcoming post power syndrome includes: mental health therapy, conducting Islamic counseling, and asking for the help of the closest family to support and pay attention to the sufferer

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) knowing the emotial development of children when they are socially interacting. 2) knowing is there the role of family parenting in the emotional development of childrens when they are socially interacting. This qualitative descriptive study, held in three families located at Jl. Pengkeran RT 001/RW 002, Jl. Gabah Sinawur RT 003/RW 001 and Jl. Sukomino RT 001/RW 002, Demangan Village, Siman District, Ponorogo Regency. That familys was chosen as the object of research because family members consisting of father, mother, grandfather and grandmother live in one house involved in childcare. The researchers obtained data by interviewing and directly observing childcare patterns in the three families. This research results: 1) The development of children's emotions is very influential on the process of social interaction. Both pleasant and unpleasant emotions, all of them have their own impact on children in establishing social relations with the surrounding environment. 2) There is a very important role of family parenting in supporting the emotional development of children to be able to interact socially well.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the activities of Arabic Language Study Program students at INSURI Ponorogo as a means of developing self-confidence and stimulating linguistic intelligence. The method used is a case study. The research location is the INSURI Ponorogo campus, with a research focus on Usbu' 'Araby activities. Observation, interviews, and documentation carried out data collection techniques. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out by data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The study results stated that the Usbu' 'Arabi was a means of developing students' self-confidence and linguistic intelligence. Activities include; Muḥaḋarah (speech), Taqdm al-Qiṣaṣ (storytelling), Taqdīr Al-Syi'ru (appreciation of poetry), Taqdīr al-Naṡr (appreciation of poetry), Masraḥiyyah (drama) and Al-Khaṭ al-'Araby (calligraphy).

Abstract

This research aims to explain the democratic parenting model of INSURI Ponorogo lecturers in developing the academic-leadership potential of female students who become foster children. This research is qualitative with a case study approach. In this case, the researcher describes the parenting style of INSURI Ponorogo lecturers to female students appointed as foster children. Can this parenting style develop students' academic leadership potential or not? As a case study research, the population and research sample totaled five lecturers and twenty foster students affiliated with INSURI Ponorogo. The research data is in the form of parenting activities of lecturers toward female students. Sources of data were obtained from lecturers, students, and documentation. Observation, interviews, and documentation carried out research data collection techniques. In comparison, data analysis is done by data reduction, presentation, conclusion, and verification. The study results show that the activities of democratic/authoritative parenting styles carried out by lecturers for female students are different. Parenting style leads to developing academic potential, responsibility, leadership, educational, social, and economical, such as guiding, involving community organizations and student organizations, entrepreneurship, and deepening religious knowledge. The democratic parenting model of INSURI Ponorogo lecturers is bearing fruit. It has been proven that some female students who experience this parenting style have achieved good academic achievements and leadership skills.
