Statistically, the regional gross domestic product per capita and the minimum wage have a positive value, but are not significant for income inequality in the province of Banten, and the human development index variable is negative. Partially there is no influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable, but simultaneously there is a significant effect between the independent variables on the dependent variable, and there is a strong relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises is an important sector in the Indonesian economy. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises have a very important role in improving people's welfare and creating jobs. However, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises also face various obstacles, such as limited access to capital, limited access to information, and limited market access. This scientific study aims to examine the impact of economic growth and inflation on MSME credit growth in Indonesia during the 2015-2022 period. This scientific study uses the method of multiple linear regression analysis with secondary data originating from the Financial Services Authority, the Central Bureau of Statistics, and Bank Indonesia  and processed using the Eviews application. The results of the analysis show that economic growth and inflation have no effect and are not significant on the growth of MSMEs credit in Indonesia during the study period.

Abstract

The increase of the economy in one region can be considered as two things. In one hand, it also encourages the increase of its society welfare but on the other hand, the concentration of economic activities in particular economic sector or region can potentially lead to the inequality of development in the larger regions. This research aims to analyze whether there is an inequality in regencies/municipalities in Banten Province. To achieve this goal, the analysis is conducted in two steps. The first one is to analyze the economic structure of all regencies/municipalities in Banten Province and then the result of that analysis is used to identify the inequality by using Intra Theill Entropy Index. From those analyses, it is found that the developing economic sector in Banten Province is mainly dominated by modern economic sectors, for example Manufacturing. Furthermore, it is also found that there is a big gap regarding the inequality in Banten Province measured by the high Intra Theill Entropy Index which is marked by the high economic concentration in Cilegon City, Tangerang City, and Serang City.

Abstract

The large number of Indonesian workers who have been sent abroad has made Indonesia known as a source of international migrant workers and has become an interesting phenomenon in overcoming labor problems in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the influence of poverty, economic growth, unemployment, education, and population growth partially and simultaneously on workers who migrate to other countries based on 33 provinces in Indonesia in 2013 - 2022. The type of data used is secondary data sourced from BP2MI and BPS. Based on the regression results using the Generalized Method of Moments (GMM) method, it is stated that there is a positive and significant relationship between international migration lag and population density on international migration. Furthermore, the variables poverty, economic growth and education have a negative and significant relationship to international migration. However, the unemployment variable does not have a significant relationship with international migration.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the socio-economic and infrastructure effects on environmental quality across 34 provinces of Indonesia from 2019 – 2023. The analysis is conducted by using panel data and a Fixed Effects Model to analyze how population density, industrial activity, education level, sanitation access, road length, and electricity coverage influence the Environmental Quality Index (IKLH). The results show that education has a strong positive effect on environmental quality, highligting the essence of human capital in promoting sustainability. Sanitation, electricity, and road length also show moderate associations. However, population density and industrial share do not have any significant effect on environmental quality. A Moran’s I test on the residuals indicates no significant spatial autocorrelation, suggesting limited spatial dependence in environmental quality outcomes at the provincial level. The study emphasizes the need for investments in education and basic infrastructure to support environmental improvements, while also acknowledging limitations related to spatial resolution and model specification.

Abstract

Abstract

Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (Untirta) is actively involved in community service, one of which takes place in Tirtayasa Village. The village still has limited infrastructure and a demographic profile largely consisting of farmers and daily laborers. Although there have been efforts to develop micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), local potential—such as culinary products—has not been fully optimized. A major challenge is the community’s lack of basic knowledge and skills in using digital platforms such as social media, online marketplaces, and digital marketing strategies. To address this issue, a digital marketing training program was conducted to improve the community’s ability to promote their products online and to encourage creativity in developing the village’s flagship products. The program was carried out in four stages: preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. The USG (Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth) analysis was used to identify key problems. The results show that the training not only successfully transferred technical knowledge, but also inspired participants to adopt more innovative approaches in developing their businesses.
