Abstract

Based on the results of hypothesis test (t-test) variable Net Interset Margin (NIM) shows the value of significance 0.008> 0.05. This means that is rejected and is accepted, so it can be interpreted that there is no significant influence between Net Interset Margin (NIM) to Non Performing Loan (NPL). Based on the results of hypothesis test (t-test) variable Operational Cost Operating Income (BOPO) showed significant value of 0.001 <0.05. This means that is rejected and accepted, so it can be interpreted that there is significant influence between Operational Income Operating Cost (BOPO) to Non Performing Loan (NPL). Based on the results of research simultaneously, it can be concluded that the significant value of 0.003 less than 0.05, and the value of 7.136 which is greater than the 3.350, indicates that is rejected and is accepted, so it can be concluded that the NIM, BOPO variables together have a significant influence on the NPL.

Abstract

Indonesian Banking is currently experiencing significant growth, when seen from fund collections, fund management and credit allocations. A bank’s main function has the obligation to collect funds, one of which is through current accounts. This is a relatively easy method in collecting third party’s funds. The research is aimed to uncover the link of BI rate with the rupiah allocation of fund in Indonesian banks, and how far it is affecting the decision of savings and current accounts. This study is conducted using descriptive and quantitative analysis of the data obtained from Bank of Indonesia statistics. The results show. The results using the correlation method for one-month rupiah deposits, r = -0.2384, 3-month rupiah deposits, r = -0.6108, 6-month rupiah deposits, r = -0.1615, and for rupiah deposits 12 months, r = 0,9775 this show that r = -0, the relationship x and y is negative and very strong (the opposite relationship x and y). However, when looking for savings by the method of research the results of correlation r = -0.795, indicating that the relationship x and y is also negative and very strong. From the analysis of hypothesis testing (Test T) obtained T calculated for each deposit period is 0.8852 (one month), - 0.0069 (3 months), -0.0102 (6 months), -0.0259 ( > = 12 months), whereas for savings products -4, 7319, assuming a 95% confidence value, then count assessed T is smaller than the T table by 2.16. Where it is indicated that H0 accepted, Ha rejected the hypothesis stated interest rate does not affect the amount of deposit and savings.

Abstract

Soil color is the important due to its relation with other soil properties. It is usually analysis with the standard Munsell Soil Color Charts (MSCC). While other properties including organic matter need to be analyzed in the laboratory. The objective of this study is to develop IoT sensor for soil that is able to detect rapidly soil color and other properties including C-organic, pH, and cation exchange capacity (CEC). Soil color data from five soil type was analyzed using the MSCC and used as input data to the IoT (internet of things) sensor. In addition, soil properties obtained from lab tests was also included. The designed IoT sensor was used to detect soil color and soil properties of 7 soil types used as the testing samples. The sensor performance was evaluated by comparing soil properties predicted using IoT and lab analysis. Results showed the use of IoT soil sensor succeeded in determining soil characteristics including pH, CEC, and C-organic based on soil color. In addition, the soil color sensor had high accuracy to predict soil properties with a very small difference compared to the lab analysis, namely 0.01% difference for C-organic, and other properties of <5% difference. The development of IoT soil sensor will be important in the fields of agriculture and land management. Keywords: Acidity (pH), CEC, C-Organic, IoT, Soil Color.

Abstract

Surabaya is a large city with a high number of industries and population density, so there is potential for heavy metal iron (Fe) pollution which affects environmental quality and the sustainability of aquatic living creatures. Gastropods are one of the macrofauna that have difficulty moving from place to place, so their presence is a bioindicator of an area with heavy metal Iron (Fe) pollution. Gastropod sampling was carried out using the transect sampling method with sampling locations spread across three locations, namely around the Kebon Agung River, Tambak Oso River and Jagir River. The diversity index was calculated using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index. The concentration of iron (Fe) metal pollutants was analyzed using AAS (Atomic Absoption Spectrophotometer). The relationship between heavy metal Fe accumulation and gastropods was analyzed using the Pearson correlation test. The research results showed that there were 14 types of gastropods with a medium diversity index (H') with values between 1.34-2.03 and an accumulation of the heavy metal iron 35994.7-44986.3 (ppm). Keywords: Abundance, Diversity Index, Gastropods, Heavy metal iron (Fe), Surabaya East Coast River.

Abstract

Inceptisol is a type of young soil with low NPK nutrient content, which affects the yield of shallot. Efforts to improve the fertility of Inceptisol involve the application of soil amendments. The objective of this study to evaluate the most effective amendments for improving the chemical characteristics, enhancing the growth and yield of shallot. The research was conducted at the Tropical Horticulture Study Center (PKHT), IPB University, Bogor. The method used a two-factor Randomized Block Design (RALF). The first factor the type and combination of amendments (P), is P0 (Control), P1 (Dolomite), P2 (Goat Manure), P3 (Dolomite + Goat Manure), P4 (Dolomite + Goat Manure + Zeolite), P5 (Dolomite + Goat Manure + Trichoderma sp.), and P6 (Dolomite + Goat Manure + Zeolite + Trichoderma sp.). The second factor the variety of shallot (J), which included J1 (Tajuk Variety) and J2 (Sakato Variety). The results showed that the application of amendments and decomposers significantly influenced the chemical characteristics of Inceptisol. Treatment P6 (dolomite, goat manure, zeolite, and Trichoderma sp.,) produced the best results compared to other treatments. Meanwhile, the variety of shallot plants did not have a direct impact on the chemical characteristics of Inceptisol. Keywords: Amendments, Chemical characteristics, Decomposer, Inceptisol, Onion.

Abstract

Kerusakan tanah diakibatkan penggunaan pupuk kimia secara terus menerus sehingga dibutuhkan bahan pembenah tanah organik dengan memanfaatkan vermikompos dan biochar sebagai pembenah tanah organik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian vermikompos dan biochar limbah kotoran kuda terhadap media, dan tanaman kedelai di Kabupaten Gresik. Penelitian menggunakan RAK faktorial. Faktor pertama vermikompos 4 taraf (dosis 0, 10, 20, 30 ton/ha), faktor kedua Biochar 4 taraf (dosis 0, 10, 20, 30 ton/ha). Parameter analisis adalah tinggi tanaman, berat basah tanaman, berat kering tanaman, berat polong, berat biji, N-total dan pada media antara lain pH, EC, C-Organik, dan N-tersedia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan vermikompos dan biochar limbah kotoran kuda tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap hasil analisis media tanah dan tanaman kedelai.

Abstract

Perkembangan berbagai bidang kehidupan dipengaruhi oleh kemajuan teknologi, salah satunya penggunaan komputer. Berbagai tugas dan proses dalam kehidupan sehari-hari membutuhkan komputerisasi. Hal ini dikarenakan penggunaan komputer mempermudah kinerja dan proses administrasi, serta dokumentasi. Akan tetapi kemajuan teknologi harus diimbangi dengan kemampuan sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang sesuai. Oleh karena itu penting bagi setiap individu, terutama generasi muda, untuk menguasai kemampuan dan keterampilan menggunakan program komputer. Salah satu program komputer yang banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yaitu program Microsoft Office. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan yaitu untuk melatih kemampuan dasar Microsoft Office yang meliputi program Microsoft Word, Excel dan Power Point. Mitra dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah pemuda-pemudi yang tergabung di dalam karangtaruni dan IPNU-IPPNU Desa Dukuhmojo, Kecamatan Mojoagung Jombang. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan menagdopsi metode Service Learning (SL). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan mampu meningkatkan motivasi peserta untuk mempelajari dan mempraktikkan program Microsoft Office. Kegiatan pelatihan ini juga terbukti efektif meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengoperasikan program Microsoft Office dasar, terutama program Microsoft Word, Excel, dan Power Point. Selain itu, mitra juga menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan ini penting dan bermanfaat bagi mitra karena menambah wawasan, pengetahuan dan membekali mitra dengan keterampilan.
