Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan strategi Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari berpikir kritis dan komunikasi matematis, membandingkan keefektifan strategi strategi Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dan pendekatan pembelajaran konvensional ditinjau dari berpikir kritis dan  komunikasi matematis. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MA Bahrul Ulum Jombang yang berjumlah tiga kelas. Berdasarkan pengambilan sampel diperoleh kelas X-IIS-1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas X-IIS-II sebagai kelas kontrol. Data dianalisis dengen menggunakan uji one-sample t-test, uji MANOVA dengan T2 Hotteling dan uji t dengan kriteria Bonferroni. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pada taraf kepercayaan 95%, impelementasi strategi Think-Talk-Write (TTW) efektif ditinjau dari berpikirr kritis dan komunikasi matematis, sedangkan pembelajaran konvensional tidak efektif ditinjau dari berpikir kritis dan komunikasi matematis. Implementasi strategi Think-Talk-Write (TTW) lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran matematika kelas V SD Negeri III Kotagede Yogyakrta. Secara umum penelitian ini mengupayakan peningkatan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TPSq (Think Pairs Square). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri III Kotagede Yogyakarta yang berjumlah 29 orang. Objek penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TPSq (Think Pairs Square). Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini terlaksana dalam 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 2 pertemuan. Data diperoleh dari lembar observasi, catatan lapangan, angket kreativitas siswa, hasil wawancara siswa dan guru, tes siklus, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TPSq (Think Pairs Square) dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan prestasi belajar siswa. Kreativitas siswa yang dilihat dari semua indikator kreativitas mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I sebesar 58%, pada siklus II sebesar 76%. Kreativitas dapat dilihat dari kemampuan menghasikan banyak gagasan, kemampuan mengemukakan barmacam-macam pemecahan terhadap masalah, kemampuan menemukan jawaban, cenderung memberi jawaban yang lebih banyak, menanggapi pertanyaan yang diajukan, mempunyai banyak pertanyaan, dan mampu menguraikan sesuatu secara terperinci. Prestasi belajar matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan yang dilihat dari rata-rata skor tes siklus pada kelas V SD Negeri III Kotagede yaitu dari 60.72 menjadi 77.44. Prestasi belajar siswa dapat tercapai dari adanya perubahan tindakan yang dilakukan dengan mengubah pembelajaran sebelumnya. Siswa dapat menyimak, berfikir, berpasangan, dan berbagi berempat, sehingga memberikan kesempatan kepada siswa untuk mengasah kemampuannya sendiri, bertanggung jawab, dan adanya kepercayaan terhadap diri sendiri.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan menggunakan media prapolin terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMA PGRI 1 jombang. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre experimental design dengan bentuk penelitian one group pretest posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas XI IPS 1 yang berjumlah 34 orang. Hasil nilai rata-rata pretest peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 sebelum diberikan perlakuan (treatment) adalah 62,125. Sedangkan, nilai rata-rata posttest peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan media Paprolin adalah 78,79412 dengan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 94,1%. Adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPS 1 dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan berbantuan media Paprolin. Kata Kunci: Model pembelajarn problem based learning, media pembelajaran, hasil belajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning ditinjau dari prestasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika pada mata kuliah statistika probabilitas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Experimental dengan populasi mahasiswa mahasiswa semester 3 pendidikan matematika Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang TA 2019/2020. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar atau ketrampilan pemecahan masalah matematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning efektif ditinjau dari prestasi belajar matematika mahasiswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Many grade X students are still not active in following the mathematics learning process and there are still many students who do not do the assignments seriously. They tend to ignore the tasks given by forgetting or not being able to do it. This research was conducted aiming to increase the activeness of students in doing math assignments using problem-based learning models in class X MIA students in MA Mambaul Ulum Megaluh. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which has two cycles, data collection is done using student worksheets. The results of the study will show the activeness of student learning in mathematics based on data obtained from student worksheets. The results showed an increase in the learning activeness of class X students, so that the problem-based learning model can be used to increase student learning activeness in mathematics class X MIA MA Mambaul Ulum Megaluh. KEYWORDS: Problem Based Learning, Active, Mathematics ABSTRAK Banyak siswa kelas X yang masih belum aktif dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran matematika dan masih banyak siswa yang tidak mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan dengan sungguh. Mereka cenderung mengabaikan tugas yang diberikan dengan lupa atau tidak bisa mengerjakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam mengerjakan tugas matematika menggunakan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah pada siswa kelas X MIA di MA Mambaul Ulum Megaluh. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindak Kelas (PTK) yang memiliki dua siklus, pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan lembar kerja siswa. Hasil penelitian akan menunjukkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari lembar kerja siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan keaktifan belajar siswa kelas X, sehingga Model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika kelas X MIA MA Mambaul Ulum Megaluh. Abstract

Taksonomi SOLO merupakan cara menglasifikasi kemampuan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal geometri. Siswa yang termasuk kategori unistructural dalam pelevelan Taksonomi SOLO, mampu mengunakan satu informasi/konsep dalam pengerjaan soal. Berdasar hasil wawancara dengan guru matematika di MA Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang, siswa kesulitan mengintepretasikan materi jarak dimensi tiga ke dalam pikiran mereka. Siswa membutuhkan bantuan (scaffolding) untuk meningkatkan level kemampuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan deskripsi mengenai pemberian scaffolding yang dapat meningkatkan level taksonomi SOLO siswa kategori unistructural sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas lima siswa kelas XII yang terpilih melalui tes penglasifikasian Taksonomi SOLO level unistructural. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Peneliti sebagai instrumen utama menganalis hasil pengerjaan tes siswa dan melakukan wawancara mendalam. Scaffolding diberikan kepada siswa dengan mengacu pada hasil tes dan wawancara. Scaffolding diberikan agar siswa kategori unistructural dapat menggunakan lebih dari satu informasi/konsep dan saling mengaitkan antar konsep agar mampu membuat kesimpulan yang relevan. Scaffolding yang dapat meningkatkan level Taksonomi SOLO siswa adalah scaffolding level 2 yaitu explaining (showing and telling), reviewing (students explaining and justifying; looking, touching and verbalising; prompting and probing questions; parralel modeling ), restructuring (negotiating meanings), dan scaffolding level 3 yaitu developing conceptual thinking (making connections). Kata kunci: scaffolding, taksonomi solo, unistructural,  jarak dimensi tiga Abstract: SOLO Taxonomy is one way to classify students's abilities in working on geometry’s problems. Students who are included in the unistructural category in the SOLO Taxonomy level are able to use one information / conept in solving problems. Based on result of interview with mathematics teachers at MA Bahrul Ulum Tambakberas Jombang, students had difficulty when interpreting distance material in solid geometry into their minds. Students who have difficulty need help (scaffolding) to increase their level of ability. This study aims to obtain a description of the provision of scaffolding that can increase the SOLO taxonomy level of students in the unistructural category according to student needs. Participants are five student of class 12th who is selected by test. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Researchers as the main instrument analyze the results of student tests and conduct in-depth interviews with students. The test and interview results are used as a reference in providing scaffolding to students. Sacffolding is given so that students in the unistrutural category can use more than one information / concept and link each other between concepts in order to be able to make relevant conclusions. Scaffolding that can increase the level of SOLO’ to solve geometry problems is scaffolding level 2, namely explaining (showing and telling), reviewing (students explaining and justifying; looking, touching and verbalising; prompting and probing questions; parralel modeling), restructuring (negotiating meanings), and level 3 scaffolding, namely developing conceptual thinking (making connections). Keywords: scaffolding, SOLO taxonomy, unistructural, distance in solid geometry

Abstract

This research as a purpose to understand the effect a peer tutor learning method about the results of learning cognitive math of students X class at main materialssystem of linear equation three variables. This research belong quantitative descriptive research. Subject of the research is student X class at MA Assulaimaniyyah Mojoagung Jombang as many as 30 students.The research has carried on only one category without a group of a comparison. The data collecting use question test and math results learning outcomes at other materials was learned by teacher at that school. That other materialsislinier equation and inequality a value of absolute one variables.The results of learning at other materials as a purpose to understand the first condition of student while results of learning cognitive math as a purpose to understanding change condition. Analysis of the data using t-test and a significance level of = 0,05. The results of data analysis using t-test obtained t = 6,743 and table = 2,045 at significance level of 5%.It means that there were significant peer tutoring methods to the result of learning cognitive math of student X class at materials system of linear equation three variables in MA Assulaimaniyyah.

Abstract

The research aim of this study are (1) to determine the development of mathematics teaching materials based on Realistic Mathematics Learning approach (RML) to improve students critical thinking skills. (2) To determine the feasibility of teaching materials to improve students critical thinking. (3) To determine the improvement of teaching materials in students critical thinking skills. This type of research is development research. The development model refers to the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study was carried out on class VIIID MTs Al-Ihsan Kalikejambon Tembelang Jombang in the 2020/2021 academic year. The results obtained that the average media validity score based on the Realistic Mathematics Learning approach on the material of Statistics class VIII from the experts, namely mathematics lecturers, was 72,4% which was categorized as quite valid, and mathematics teachers were 80,6% which was categorized as valid. Practicality is obtained based on the results of observational data on the implementation of teaching materials based on Realistic Mathematics Learning, obtained an average of 69,4% which is in the fairly good category. The effectiveness is obtained from the results of questionnaires on student responses and student learning outcomes. An average of 91,67% was obtained from the data from student questionnaires who were in the good category, for each aspect that was responded to. As many as 81,3% of students were able to achieve the criteria of complete learning so that the Realistic Mathematics Learning-Based Learning media was categorized as effective.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of problem-based learning in developing students' character in social arithmetic material. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental type of research. This study used all students of class VII D SMP Negeri 1 Kudu which were divided into two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group. The instruments used in this study were tests, questionnaires. The test is used to determine the student's ability while the questionnaire is to determine the student's character in problem-based learning. The prerequisite test used in this study used the normality test and homogeneity test, with a = 0.05. Hypothesis testing in this study using independent sample t-Test on IBM SPSS.21 for windows. The results showed that the problem based learning model had a positive and significant effect on the development of students' character.

Abstract

This study aims to learn the feasibility of e-comic media  in MTsN 12 Jombang. The method of this research is Research and Development (RD). The development model used is the ADDIE development model with stages: analysis (analysis), design (design), development (development), implementation (implementation), and evaluation (evaluation). The subjects of this research  were students of class VII D of MTsN 12 Jombang. The research instruments used in data collection were (1) questionnaire sheets and (2) students' response results. The results showed that the validity of the learning media obtained was based on the validation of the material experts showed 4.2 with a valid category, assessment of the validation of the material experts showed 4.8 with a very valid category, validation of the existing media experts showed 4.53 with a very valid category and participant responses students there are 94% with the category of strongly agree.
