Abstract

Abstract: This study is a correlation research by connecting two different variables. the problem in this research is the low-speed run 60 meters distance students, it is because the explosive power of the legs at the time of running look less than optimal. This research aims to determine whether there is a relationship of explosive power leg muscle with a running speed of 60 meter class VII SMP Negeri 3 mandau, the number of samples as many as 30 people, based on the results of research that has been done in the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Mandau To determine the extent of the relationship between the explosive power leg muscle with a running speed of 60 meters, obtained r = 0.425 categorized enough. significance test using the formula t test of significance. The calculation results of t = 2.485 while t table = 1,701. so t = 2.45> t table = 1,701. it can be concluded as follows: the presence of a significant relationship between the explosive power leg muscle with a running speed of 60 meter class VII SMP Negeri 3 mandau accepted. based on the results of this study concluded that the hypothesis (Ho) reads: there is no significant relationship between the explosive power leg muscle (X) with a running speed of 60 meters (Y). Based on the analysis of test data obtained t and 2,485 t of means t> t table (1,701) thereby Ho refused and Ha is received, so that it can be concluded there is a relationship between the explosive power leg muscle with a running speed of 60 meters V11 junior high school students in grade 3 mandau Keywords: explosive power leg muscle, running speed of 60 meters

Abstract

ABSTRACT, based on the observation that the author did in SDN 009 Air Hitam, Parit Teratak Sentajo Raya subdistrict there are phenomena of which, is the low ability students, in the long jump, with a leap generated no more than 2 meters. The problem is apparently due to low speed run that owned the students, therefore the researchers aim to conduct research on the relationship speed to run with the results of the long jump. This type of research is correlational, meaning a statistical board, which can be used to compare the results of measurements of two different variables in order to determine the degree of association between these variables (Arikunto, 2006: 273). In this study serve as a speed variable "X" and the result of long jump squat style as the variable "Y". The sample in this study were students of class V SDN 009 Trenches Teratak totaling 18 people. The data in this study were obtained from the test running speed of 40 meters and long jump test squat style. Before analysis, the normality test of data which results in a normal distribution of data karean L count <L tables. Having analyzed using product moment correlation values obtained 0.78 r count> r table 12:48 it can be concluded that there is a link speed to run with the results of the long jump squat style school student 009 Air Hitam Ditch Teratak Sentajo Raya subdistrict. Keywords: speed running, long jump, squat style

Abstract

Elderly is someone aged 60 years and over. The elderly are said to be at risk for various degenerative diseases compared to young people. One of the degenerative diseases that often occurs without symptoms is hypertension. Hypertension is called the “silent killer” because it can appear without any symptoms or warning signs, so many are not aware of it. The causes of delays in handling patients with hypertension are the majority of patients coming to health facilities when complications have occurred, and the lack of public access to health services, resulting in a lack of control over their disease state, especially in the elderly. Therefore, by conducting counseling related to hypertension, it is hoped that the role of cadres in preventing and controlling hypertension in the elderly can run optimally. This counseling aims to increase the understanding of cadres on the prevention and control of hypertension in the elderly. The main target of this program is health cadres in Cikondang Hamlet, Datar Village, Dayeuh Luhur District, Cilacap Regency. This activity includes an initial survey related to hypertension in the elderly, and conducting counseling on prevention and control of hypertension in the elderly using counseling methods and interactive discussions. The result of this community service activity is an increase in the understanding of health cadres related to Hypertension, especially efforts to prevent and control hypertension in the elderly in Cikondang Hamlet, Datar Village, Dayeuh Luhur District, Cilacap Regency.
