Abstract

Categories of learning outcomes include acceptance, response, assessment, organization, and pattern formation. Thus, the essence of learning is a change in thinking that affects behaviour. The results of interviews with teachers at SMA Kartika XIII-I Ambon show that current students have not shown an environmentally conscious attitude. Therefore, research was conducted to improve the mastery of the concept of class X students on environmental pollution material using creative problem-solving learning models with guided inquiry strategies. This study used a classroom action research method that took place in two cycles for one month. The subjects in this study were 26 students. The research data were processed descriptively on the results of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessments. The results showed that in cycle I there were still 65.4% of students who had not achieved mastery of concepts on environmental pollution material. Therefore, the research was continued in cycle two with the action of using the creative problem-solving learning model based on guided inquiry strategy and coupled with audio-visuals media, as well as a stimulus in the form of giving rewards to active students. It was proven that in cycle II there was an increase in students' mastery of concepts in environmental pollution material in students by 100% so that the series of class action research was no longer continued. In conclusion, the use of learning models

Abstract

Ureng village has the high biodiversity. One of which them are many groups of Lichen. This research aims was to determine the diversity of lichenes species and the diversity of thallus lichenes form in nutmeg, clove, and cocoa coffee plantation of Ureng Village. The research was done in clove, cocoa, and nutmeg of Ureng Village, Leihitu District, Maluku. The method this research was exploration method and sampling using purposive method. Lichen specimen founded was identification at MIPA IAIN Ambon Laboratory. The results this research were founded 53 species, including 19 familia. Twenty seven species lichen were found in the clove tree, 19 species are found ini the cocoa tree, 16 species found in the nutmeg tree, and 2 species found in all three trees. The results showed that the crustose type was the type of thallus lichenes that most commonly found in these plantations.

Abstract

Abstract

Extraction of active compounds from plants requires a lot of raw materials. Therefore, other alternatives are needed that can produce active compounds in a relatively fast time. One of them is the use of endophytic fungi. Endophytic fungi live in plant tissues including pulai (Alstonia scholaris) which is used as an ingredient in herbal medicine. Endophytic growths can create auxiliary metabolite intensifies that are like their host plants. The point of this examination was to decide the sorts of endophytic growths found on pulai leaves and their antibacterial action. This research is a qualitative research, where microscopic characteristics of fungi are observed using the slide culture method and antibacterial activity is tested using the modified Kirby Bauer method. The results of this research found 8 isolates of endophytic fungi, consisting of Neurospora sp1, Neurospora sp2, Paecilomyces sp, Acremonium sp, Fusarium sp, and 3 unidentified isolates. All endophytic fungi found on pulai leaves can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli with the highest inhibition zone diameter found in isolate K8 (Acremonium sp) at 3 cm for S. aureus and isolate K7 at 1.8 cm for E. coli.
