The evaluation was completed by measuring pain intensity every day for three days before and after the intervention. Results. There was a decrease in pain intensity from 6/10 to 1/10 and 6/10 to 1/10 in both patients in the intervention group after the intervention for three days, while in the control group, the pain intensity was 5/10 to 5/10 on day three. Pain is an unpleasant experience that can be experienced by post sectio caesarea mothers. 88.2% of post sectio caesarea mothers feel pain. Pain is caused by an incision in the abdomen. Postoperative pain management can be done pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. Slow stroke back massage can be used as an alternative to pain management with a non-pharmacological approach. This study aims to determine the effect of giving slow stroke back massage therapy on post sectio caesarea pain intensity. The research method used was descriptive case study using numeric rating scale (NRS) instrument. The research subjects were 4 respondents with the criteria of second day post sectio caesarea patients with moderate to severe pain intensity. Respondents were divided into intervention and control groups. The study was conducted for one day with a duration of 20 minutes of therapy for each respondent. The results of the case study showed that respondents had an average pain scale of 5. There was a decrease in the pain scale of post sectio caesarea mothers in the intervention group with an average decrease of 2.5 scales. This decrease occurs due to the mechanism of releasing endorphins which play a role in reducing pain perception in the parasympathetic nervous system. The slow stroke back massage intervention has an effect on reducing the pain scale of post sectio caesarea mothers so that it can be applied in the process of providing nursing care in the clinic.

Introduction: Health problems due to unsafe food in Indonesia often occur, especially amongst school-aged children. School-aged children need to be given health education related to food safety to prevent food poisoning. Parents have an essential role in health among school-aged children. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the most influential factors of role-play on food safety behavior among school-aged children (6–12 years). Method: The study design was quasi-experimental with pre-and post-test designs. It involved 101 school-age children equally divided into intervention and control groups. Multistage random sampling was used to determine the research area and school where the research was conducted, while the research subject was selected using a simple random sample. The intervention group was treated in the form of a group process with the implementation of a role play for four weeks, which was carried out four times a month and lasted for 40 minutes per session. The analysis of data was performed using the ANOVA test. Results: The results showed that parental knowledge had a significant effect on the influence of therapeutic role-play on students’ learning (p = 0.004), attitudes (p = 0.007), and prevention skills (p = 0.009). Parental knowledge is the most influential factor in effective therapeutic role-play on food safety behaviors among school-aged children (6–12 years). Conclusion: The role-play method can improve the food safety behavior of school-aged children. The role-play method should be an effective and interactive health education intervention for elementary school-aged children. Role-play can involve the food safety behavior of parents and teachers in further study.
