Abstract

Chicken eggs are not strange among the people of Indonesia. Chicken eggs are usually consumed in the form of cooking. Processing of chicken egg that is by way of boiling and followed by stripping eggshell with purpose to make it easier to in direct consumption. With the development of technology, this work can be done by machinery, so the work becomes more effective, fast and productive. From this it will be designed tool that can boil and peel chicken eggs. Tools of boiling and peeling eggs using microcontroller ATMega8535 as a controller system, making it easier to process eggs. The working mechanism of the boiler and peeler is using DC motors, heater, and push button and ATMega8535 serves as the timer timer needed to boil the egg. Heater serves to heat the water in the pan to boil the eggs, timer from the microcontroller will be active to set the time of boiling eggs that have previously been set. When the timer has finished counting, the DC motor will be active and rotate the boiling pot until the egg is peeled and from the menu on the boilers and this chicken egg peelers have cooked eggs and middle eggs cooked on the boiled chicken egg yolk

Abstract

The process of slicing bananas in Pekanbaru in general still uses simple and manual tools, because the public does not really understand about the tool of making banana slicers and the level of efficiency of the tool is still lacking. The process of processed production of bananas in MSME businesses and home industries is still constrained by the limited resources used one of them in the process of slicing bananas as raw materials for banana chips. By using this Banana slicer machine will cut the time of slice and power in a long time that is still done manually. The goal of the author of this final task is to design a model of a mechanical banana slicer with two blades, comparing the production of a three-blade banana slicer with a four-blade slicer. The process of this machine starts from peeling bananas from the skin, bananas will be placed on the funnel that will go to the blade. The working system of banana slicer, Bananas will be avoided on the funnel, on the funnel there is a proximity sensor that will detect bananas that will serve to turn on the motor. After the motor lives the blade plate will rotate so that the banana is sliced then the banana will come out through the funnel out with the shape of the banana that has been sliced. Electronic system control is done sequentially more precisely in its application. From the test results obtained that the thickness of bananas amounted to 2.39 mm. The main drive on the slice is the 1 phasa motor and uses a dimmer to set the turn speed of the 1 phasa motor. The slice process travels at a speed of 450 rpm in 14,892 seconds. This machine can slice as many as 967 bananas in 1 hour.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan Internet of Things (IoT) kepada guru di SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru. Tujuan utama dari pelatihan ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dasar tentang IoT kepada guru, sehingga mereka dapat memperkenalkan dan mengajarkan konsep IoT kepada siswa mereka. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan mengadakan serangkaian sesi pelatihan yang terdiri dari teori dan praktik. Sesi pelatihan teori akan mencakup pengenalan tentang IoT, perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam IoT, serta konsep dasar pemrograman dan protokol komunikasi dalam IoT. Sesi praktik akan memberikan kesempatan kepada para guru untuk mempraktikkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang telah mereka pelajari melalui latihan-latihan praktik yang disiapkan. Hasil dari pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat bagi para guru SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru dalam meningkatkan kompetensi mereka dalam bidang IoT, sehingga mereka dapat memberikan pendidikan yang lebih baik dan lebih up-to-date kepada siswa mereka. Selain itu, diharapkan juga bahwa pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru secara keseluruhan, serta meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman masyarakat tentang konsep IoT.

Abstract

The passage highlights the importance of having a reliable supply of nuts and bolts for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) involved in the manufacturing of appropriate technology tools. Nuts and bolts are critical components in the production process of such manufacturing. Therefore, it is essential to ensure their constant availability to avoid interruptions in the workflow. Currently, many MSMEs still monitor their stock levels manually. This manual method has its drawbacks, as stock levels can sometimes go unnoticed, leading to stockouts when the components are needed. When stock runs out unexpectedly, it can cause delays, as additional time is required to purchase more supplies from wholesalers. In this study, a digital scale with a load cell sensor was developed as a medium for taking inventory or stocking bolts and nuts. This device features several buttons: a button for selecting the size of bolts or nuts, a button for choosing between stocking or taking items, and a button for displaying stock information of bolts or nuts in the warehouse. The results from this digital scale are sent to a website using the Internet of Things (IoT) system as a communication medium between the digital scale and the monitoring website. The results of this study show that the digital scale has an accuracy of 99.95%, and the accuracy of the counted items or stock is 100%.

Abstract

MAN 1 Pekanbaru merupakan salah satu sekolah yang memiliki ekstrakurikuler bidang robotic. Dan fasilitas untuk pengembangan ilmu robotika di MAN 1 Pekanbaru sangatlah minim. Sementara Sementara minat bakat para siswa untuk belajar di bidang robotic terus bertambah. Dan salah satu kampus di Pekanbaru yang memiliki ke ilmuan di bidang robotic adalah Politeknik Caltex Riau (PCR). Salah satu di prodi Teknologi Rekayasa Mekatronika (TRM) memiliki mata kuliah yang dapat mensupport bidang robotic yaitu proyek mekatronika, mikrokontroller dan robotika. Dalam proyek robotika telah membuat arm robotika yang dapat di gunakan sebagai modul pembelajaran robotika dan mikrokontroller. Dengan adanya ini, pihak dosen dan mahasiswa prodi TRM ingin membantu dalam pengembangan ilmu robotika dengan pihak MAN 1 Pekanbaru. Modul arm robotic ini untuk pembelajaran bagi para siswa MAN 1 dalam pembuatan program mikrokontroller untuk pergerakan dan pengontrollan arm robotic. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat menggunakan metode memodifikasi arm robot dan pelatihan penggunaan arm robot serta pembelajaran pembuatan program arm robot. Hasil arm robot yang di modifikasi berhasil 100% berjalan sesuai dengan fungsi arm robot serta dalam pelatihan para siswa kelas robotik sangat antusias dalam kegiatan pembuatan aplikasi penggerak arm robot berbasis android.

Abstract

Capturing transient water droplet splashes poses significant challenges due to their millisecond-scale corona formations, with manual methods achieving only 3 % success rates. This study developed an Arduino-based automated photography system that integrates a solenoid-driven droplet generator and optocoupler-triggered camera to address this limitation. The device calculates droplet impact timing using gravitational acceleration by synchronizing solenoid activation and camera triggering via an Arduino Nano. Experimental trials at a 50 cm droplet height demonstrated 100 % capture accuracy at 105 ms delays, outperforming manual methods (6 % success). Photographer evaluations rated splash aesthetics at 50 cm as optimal (9/10), emphasizing crown symmetry and height. The optocoupler-based system achieved sub-millisecond response times, surpassing electromechanical alternatives. By reducing memory waste from failed captures by 94 %, this approach enhances efficiency in high-speed macro photography. These results validate the system’s reliability for studying fluid dynamics and surface interactions, offering a scalable framework for automated imaging applications in scientific and artistic domains.

Abstract

UMKM Teknong Soya Bangkinang adalah produsen sari kedelai di Riau, yang membutuhkan produksi sebanyak 36 liter per hari. Saat ini, proses pemasakan sari kedelai masih terbatas, dilakukan secara tradisional, dan hanya menghasilkan 9 liter sari kedelai matang. UMKM ini belum mampu mengatur suhu dalam proses pemasakan sari kedelai. Hal ini dapat diatasi dengan sistem kontrol suhu pada pemasak sari kedelai. Sistem kontrol ini bertujuan meningkatkan produktivitas pemasakan sari kedelai. Sistem ini bekerja dengan mengontrol kompor secara otomatis dan mengatur nyala api selama proses pemasakan. Jika suhu mencapai 70˚C, nyala api akan berkurang untuk menjaga suhu agar tetap pada 80˚C hingga sari kedelai matang. Sensor suhu membaca peningkatan suhu setiap menit dan nilai suhu tersebut ditampilkan pada LCD. Hasil pengambilan data dari alat sistem kontrol suhu pada pemasak sari kedelai menunjukkan keberhasilan implementasi sistem kompor otomatis. Rata-rata waktu agar kompor menyala adalah 0,19 detik, dengan posisi katup saat proses pemasakan adalah 60˚ dan 65˚ untuk menghasilkan nyala api yang lebih kecil. Selain itu, pembacaan suhu juga akurat, mencapai 99,22%.

Abstract

Tempe is a traditional Indonesian food that can be processed into various derivative food products, including chips and mendoan. Many MSMEs have developed tempe chip products, but the tempe slicing process is still done manually. The manual process has the disadvantage of taking a long time, requiring operators, and inconsistent results. In this study, an automatic tempe slicing machine was developed. The developed machine uses a control system so that it can adjust the thickness of the slices by manipulating the rotational speed of the driving motor. The mechanical design of the tempe pushing system and hopper causes the process to take place continuously. Tests to determine the performance of the machine in producing tempe slices, and to determine the capacity of the machine have been carried out. The results show that the machine can slice tempe well starting from a thickness of 2 mm. The test results also show that the deviation of the thickness of the slices is not significant, which is between -2.2% - 2.5%. Machine capacity depends on the thickness of the slices. For 3 mm slices, the machine capacity is 22 29 kg/hour. Meanwhile, the machine capacity for slice thickness of 5 mm and 7 mm is 31.85 kg/hour and 38.96 kg/hour, subsequently.
