Abstract

Bisnis minuman merupakan salah satu ide bisnis yang sangat menjanjikan di Indonesia, mengingat Indonesia adalah negara tropis dengan cuaca panas sehingga orang-orangnya suka minum es. Industri kemasan makanan dan minuman merupakan salah satu faktor penunjang perekonomian Indonesia. Namun dalam proses penyablonan masih dilakukan secara manual atau masih membutuhkan kerja manusia dalam prosesnya. Dengan menggunakan Mesin sablon gelas plastik Otomatis ini akan memangkas waktu dari proses peletakkan gelas, penyablonan hingga pelepasan gelas secara manual. Mesin ini menggunakan prinsip kerja penyablonan otomatis. Dengan alat ini, proses penyablonan menjadi lebih efisien. Proses dari mesin sablon gelas plastik otomatis ini berawal dari meletakkan gelas ke dalam corong hingga penuh, kemudian mesin akan berjalan sekaligus dari proses masuknya gelas, penyablonan hingga keluarnya gelas secara otomatis. Proses otomatis pada mesin ini menggunakan motor DC, limit switch dan sensor proximity. Dari hasil pengujian, kecepatan motor yang digunakan berjalan stabil, hasil penyablonan menggunakan 2 screen sablon yang berbeda mendapatkan hasil yang baik serta diperoleh data bahwa selama 1 jam mesin sablon gelas plastik otomatis ini mampu memproduksi sebanyak 600 pcs dengan waktu rata-rata untuk 1 gelas cup berkisar 6 detik.

Abstract

The snack business is a very promising business idea in Indonesia because Indonesian people from all walks of life like snacks. The snack food industry is one of the various supporting factors for the Indonesian economy. However, the process of refining oil from food still requires a lot of time. Using an oil-slicing machine on cassava chips automatically will save the use of human labor in the process of closing fried cassava chips to the manual oil separation process. This machine uses the principle of automatic work. With this tool, the oil-draining process becomes very effective. The process of the oil slicing machine on cassava chips automatically starts from the entry of the chips with the movement of the basket actuator from the fryer, then the machine continues to run at once from the process of driving the motor to life, the slicing process, until the spinner actuator stops automatically. The automatic process on this machine uses an AC motor, limit switch, and timer. The test results were very stable on the use of a spinner motor, and the best results were for filling oil for 43 seconds with a heavy load of 3 kg of cassava chips using a timer that had accurate calculations.

Abstract

Proses pengolahan biodiesel terbagi dalam empat tahap yaitu proses esterifikasi, pendingin, pencucian dan filtrasi. Proses pencucian biodiesel hasil dari proses esterifikasi membutuhkan waktu yang panjang karena harus melalui proses pengendapan. Oleh karena itu maka pada penelitian ini dikembangkan mesin pencucian biodiesel yang dilengkapi dengan sistem pendingin. Sistem pendingin bertujuan agar proses pengendapan bisa berlangsung lebih cepat. Sistem pendingin menggunakan modul termoelektrik yang terpasang pada pipa penyalur dari tangki esterifikasi menuju tangki pencuci. Mesin ini juga dilengkapi dengan sistem kendali dan penggerak katup sehingga proses dapat berlangsung secara otomatis. Rancangan mesin pencuci biodiesel telah berhasil dikembangkan dan telah melalui serangkaian pengujian. Pengujian dilakukan pada proses pencucian untuk memisahkan fasa gliserol dan fasa biodiesel mentah. Pencucian juga dilakukan untuk memisahkan air kotor dan biodiesel. Hasil pengujian menunjukan bahwa sensor suhu dan sistem pendingin berfungsi dengan baik. Sistem pendingin yang dikembangkan terbukti mampu mempercepat proses pencucian.

Abstract

In this study, the validity of the e-module based on the integrated guided inquiry of the Quran was tested on the material for the reaction rate of class XI Madrasah Aliyah. This is an Educational Design Research with a few stages, which is preliminary research, prototyping, and assessment included in the Plomp development model. The requirements of the West Sumatra Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2019 concerning the Curriculum as a subject that must be relevant to Al-Quran education have been met by this e-module. They are also following Core Competence 1 in the 2013 Curriculum. Five validators use research tools in the form of questionnaires to validate this e-module. The validity test results reveal a content validation value of 0.87 and a multimedia validation of 0.92 with a valid category indicating that the developed e-module can be used as teaching materials in schools.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 telah membawa perubahan signifikan bagi industri manufaktur, termasuk PT Philips Batam. Perusahaan ini menggunakan teknologi canggih seperti mesin press otomatis untuk inlet pin dan pellet pada battery cover. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental untuk mengevaluasi efisiensi dan akurasi mesin press otomatis. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi waktu produksi, produk reject, dan tingkat keberhasilan produksi, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode statistik. Mesin press otomatis terdiri dari lima station, menempatan pin dan pellet dengan presisi pada battery cover. Produk diperiksa pada stasiun unloading, dengan produk yang tidak memenuhi syarat dipisahkan dari yang memenuhi syarat. Mesin insert pin dan pellet otomatis mampu menghasilkan satu siklus produksi dalam waktu 6 detik, sehingga dapat memproduksi sebanyak 1200 pcs selama satu jam. Mesin otomatis menunjukkan keandalan dan kestabilan dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi dan kualitas produk, serta memberikan wawasan untuk pengembangan dan peningkatan mesin press otomatis. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi Industri 4.0, perusahaan dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan mencapai hasil produksi yang unggul.

Abstract

Tempe is a traditional Indonesian food that can be processed into various derivative food products, including chips and mendoan. Many MSMEs have developed tempe chip products, but the tempe slicing process is still done manually. The manual process has the disadvantage of taking a long time, requiring operators, and inconsistent results. In this study, an automatic tempe slicing machine was developed. The developed machine uses a control system so that it can adjust the thickness of the slices by manipulating the rotational speed of the driving motor. The mechanical design of the tempe pushing system and hopper causes the process to take place continuously. Tests to determine the performance of the machine in producing tempe slices, and to determine the capacity of the machine have been carried out. The results show that the machine can slice tempe well starting from a thickness of 2 mm. The test results also show that the deviation of the thickness of the slices is not significant, which is between -2.2% - 2.5%. Machine capacity depends on the thickness of the slices. For 3 mm slices, the machine capacity is 22 29 kg/hour. Meanwhile, the machine capacity for slice thickness of 5 mm and 7 mm is 31.85 kg/hour and 38.96 kg/hour, subsequently.

Abstract

Before being marketed, white bread will usually be cut first. Small to medium scale bread entrepreneurs still use conventional tools in the form of standard bread knives, whose use is still less effective. This bread cutting machine is designed for small to medium sized bakers to make their work easier and more efficient. This machine is designed using a vertical blade movement method with an AC motor as the driving force and is controlled using a sequential circuit. The initial process of this machine is to press the pushbutton, then place the bread on the bread tray which has a proximity sensor as a bread detector and the cutting process is carried out, when the sensor does not detect the presence of bread the machine will stop working automatically. Electronic system control is carried out sequentially which is more efficient in its application. From the test results obtained that the thickness of the bread is 12 mm. The main driver of the cutting is 1 phase and uses a dimer to adjust the rotational speed of the 1 phase motor. The cutting process with a maximum motor speed can cut 1 loaf for 38 seconds.

Abstract

There are three stages for processing biodiesel-based used cooking oil: the esterification process, cooling and purifying FAME, and filtration of crude biodiesel. The time required for purifying FAME is about two until six hours because it has to follow the sedimentation process several times. Therefore, this research developed a biodiesel purification machine equipped with a cooling system. The cooling system aims to make the sedimentation process faster. The cooling system uses a thermoelectric module attached to a pipeline from the esterification tank to a purification tank. This machine is also equipped with a control system and valve driven by motor to perform the process automatically. The design of the biodiesel purification machine has been successfully developed and has followed a series of tests. The test results on the accuracy of flowmeters show that they work correctly. The application of a cooling system is proven to reduce the sedimentation process time to 20 minutes, which in turn shortens the time for the biodiesel purification process, which in turn shortens the time of the biodiesel purification process. In addition, the control system allows the machine to operate automatically, thereby reducing the operator's need significantly.

Abstract

  Remotely Operated Vehicle or abbreviated as ROV is an underwater explorer robot where the robot is controlled remotely by an operator using a remote control system.  Water ecosystems certainly have various kinds of hazards that cause harm to divers, such as wild animals, waters contaminated with toxic waste, limited oxygen, and many other risks. Based on these problems, research was carried out, namely the Design and Development of Underwater ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Mechanisms and Systems where the tool built is an underwater robot that uses 8 DC motors to be able to perform 12 types of movements under water. The final result obtained by the ROV is that it is able to perform all of these movements except for the right somersault and left somersault. The speed and direction of rotation of the motor is controlled by a device, namely the BTS7960 motor driver. This robot aims to measure pressure and temperature and capture images underwater to a depth of 4m. Pressure and temperature measurements were made using a BMP180 pressure sensor and a DS18B20 temperature sensor where the measurement results will be displayed on a 16x2 LCD. Based on the test results, the pressure sensor has an error rate of 3.6% and a temperature sensor of 0.34%. Images and videos are captured by a device, namely a CCTV camera where the device is connected to a laptop device as a monitor. The test produced results in the form of images and videos that were quite clear.
