Abstract

Learning media has a contribution in increasing student activity and motivation in learning. The use of the right teaching media in learning process can arouse desire, generate motivation and stimulate new learning activities. The more intensive the learning  experience by students, the higher of the quality learning process itself. Student involvement is based on motivation and high interest from the students in participating in the learning process, and also from the teacher’s side is required to master the use of various types of media and learning strategies. For this reason, it is necessary to think about alternative learning media that are fun and appropriate for students. One of the media used in learning mathematics is a storybook based on Local Natural Resources  whose contents are close to the lives of children. Its need creative thinking and innovation to create local cultural outcomes that are packaged so that they are accepted and studied globally. Environmental preservation efforts such as raising the potential of local nature can make the younger generation have responsibility for their environment. Preservation of living natural resources by reprinting and making new natural resources can not be the thing that young people are interested in. One effort to conserve local natural resources is through learning resources in education which hopes to provide an understanding of the results of local natural resources wealth to the next generation. By introducing natural potential through learning activities by streamlining the function of storybook media in learning for children. The use of media should be a part of our attention as a means of preserving local natural potential in the world of education. Therefore, it is necessary to establish learning media that can be accepted by the current generation by revitalizing local potential in the era of globalization. The purpose of this research is to develop the local natural resources from Dukuh Samiran , Kecamatan Selo, Boyolali, Central Java,  as supporting the early counting mathematics program. The research applied was Research and Development. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic parenting through Instagram in developing the character of young children. The development of digital technology has changed the way parents access information, including in parenting practices. Instagram, as one of the platforms most widely used by young parents, provides a variety of educational content on Islamic parenting that is relevant to the needs of modern families. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, this study examines how Instagram content, whether in the form of advice, short videos, educational illustrations, or parenting experiences, can influence parents' mindsets and behaviors in shaping children's character from an early age. The main focus of this study is Islamic character values ​​such as honesty, discipline, empathy, independence, and a love of worship. The study's findings indicate that Instagram serves as an effective digital learning environment, providing quick access, engaging visuals, and ease of interaction. Parents who actively follow Islamic Parenting accounts tend to gain new inspiration in instilling positive role models, habits, and communication in their children. This content also helps parents improve religious literacy and holistic knowledge of child development. However, this study emphasizes the importance of critical thinking in selecting reliable sources of information to ensure the accurate delivery of Islamic values. Therefore, Islamic Parenting through Instagram can be a supportive medium for early childhood character development, as long as it is used selectively, purposefully, and integrated with direct parenting practices at home. These findings contribute to the development of Islamic values-based digital education strategies for today's Muslim families.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Islamic Parenting melalui media sosial Instagram dalam membangun karakter anak usia dini. Perkembangan teknologi digital telah mengubah cara orang tua mengakses informasi, termasuk dalam praktik pengasuhan. Instagram, sebagai salah satu platform yang paling banyak digunakan oleh orang tua muda, menyediakan berbagai konten edukatif mengenai pola asuh Islami yang relevan dengan kebutuhan keluarga modern. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, penelitian ini menelaah bagaimana konten Instagram, baik berupa nasihat, video pendek, ilustrasi edukatif, maupun pengalaman parenting, mampu mempengaruhi pola pikir dan perilaku orang tua dalam membentuk karakter anak sejak usia dini. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada nilai-nilai karakter Islami seperti kejujuran, kedisiplinan, empati, kemandirian, dan kecintaan beribadah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Instagram berperan sebagai digital learning environment yang efektif dengan menyediakan akses cepat, visual menarik, dan kemudahan interaksi. Orang tua yang aktif mengikuti akun-akun Islamic Parenting cenderung memperoleh inspirasi baru dalam menanamkan teladan, pembiasaan, dan komunikasi positif kepada anak. Konten-konten tersebut juga membantu orang tua meningkatkan literasi keagamaan dan pengetahuan perkembangan anak secara holistik. Namun, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya sikap kritis dalam memilih sumber informasi terpercaya agar nilai-nilai Islami disampaikan secara benar. Dengan demikian, Islamic Parenting melalui Instagram dapat menjadi media pendukung dalam membangun karakter anak usia dini, selama digunakan secara selektif, terarah, dan diintegrasikan dengan praktik pengasuhan langsung di rumah. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan strategi edukasi digital berbasis nilai Islam bagi keluarga Muslim masa kini.
