Abstract

The availability of energy resources in the world increasingly diminish. More scientist is questing other renewable resources. The solar air heater is a tool that used energy by absorbing solar radiation then convert into heat energy. The study tried to have some variations to the speed of the air flow rate with spin 2500 rpm, 3000 rpm and 3500 rpm and give vertical partitions to it.The aim of giving vertical partitions is to know the influence to the heat transfer rate and the efficiency value of it. The result of this study is the speed variations of the blower take effect to the heat transfer rate. This is shown from the study data for 5 days, the average value of the heat of the system at 3500 rpm rotation is 341.6 Watts, 3000 rpm rotation value 305.7 Watt, and 2500 rpm rotation value 249.3 Watt. The average value of efficiency at 3500 rpm is 49.60%, 3000 rpm rotation is 43.22% and at 2500 rpm the value is 37.33%. The highest system heat is 535.79 Watt with the highest delta input and output temperature of 49.7 ℃. While the highest heat absorber is 1280.15 Watt with the highest light intensity, which is 140100 Lux. With a variety of rotation speeds blower and vertical partitions, this tool is capable of producing the highest efficiency of 67.95%, and the lowest is 24.85%.

Abstract

Cooling is the best preservation method than others because the food that has been cooled will remain fresh and will not experience a change in taste, color and aroma, besides all the activities that cause decay will stop so that the cooled food will last longer. (Hartanto, 1984). With the proper cooling engine planning, it can help with spatial adjustments, adjustments to loading, estimation of the power to be used, and budget plans. That is what is commonly called the cooling load calculation. Calculation of cooling load needs to be carried out before planning. This is necessary because the magnitude of the pending load is very influential on the selection of the cooling engine so that the freezing point for preserving food can be accurate. Pendiginan burden is influenced by external and internal factors. With the experimental method, it is obtained the results of the external cooling load as the external cooling load is 11.6 kW, the inner cooling load is 138.8 kW and the performance work coefficient (COP) is 2.

Abstract

Enhancement human need for energy, especially fossil energy that is used in everyday life as fuel in industry and fuel that is used for personal use. Increased consumption of fossil fuels is not offset by the availability of natural resources, therefore alternative energy is needed to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. One alternative energy that has been found is electrolysis of water to produce HHO gas. This study aims to determine the production rate and efficiency of the HHO gas generator using a variety of NaOH, NaCl and KOH catalysts where each catalyst uses a mass fraction percentage of 4.76%. From the results of the research that has been done the results of NaOH catalyst have a flow rate of 2.203 ml / s and are the best catalyst compared to 1.24 ml / s NaCl catalyst and 1.859 ml / s KOH catalyst. Then for efficiency, KOH catalyst was obtained as the best catalyst with an efficiency of 8.76% compared with NaCl of 8.18% and NaOH of 7.82%

Abstract

Anodizing, also known as metal plating, is a surface treatment for coating metal surfaces with aprotective oxide layer of a certain thickness to protect it from environmental destructive effects thatcause corrosion, wear and increase abrasion resistance. The anodizing method also produces amore attractive, textured and colored metal appearance. The purpose of this study was todetermine how the variation of sulfuric acid concentration in aluminum anodizing process to thethickness of the oxide layer and hardness on the aluminum surface.Outertube that has beenmachined is sanded gradually until the aluminum surface is clean and there are no scratches thatcan interfere with the anodizing results. The anodizing process is carried out using a slideregulator transformer, then the cleaning, etching, desmut, anodizing and rinsing processes arecarried out in each process. The anodizing process was carried out using variations in currentstrengths of 0.75A, 1.5A, 2.25A and 3A with 30, 40, 50, and 60 minutes immersion variation times.The tests carried out included a micro photograph of the thickness of the oxide layer.The testresults show that the addition of current strength in the anodizing process affects the thickness ofthe oxide layer.

Abstract

Vapor carburetor was invented by Tom Ogle in 1971. By his invention, fuel consumption of vehicle more economic than conventional carburetor. In the rare and high price of LPG, writer made a machine which has same principle with vapor carburetor. Gasoline stove can be an alternative and solution for many problem caused gas stove. Writer used aerator as an air supplier and also as vaporizer of pertalite. Writer compared Specific Fuel Consumption (SFC) every pressure (variable) which is as an indicator of combustion performance. According from this experiment showed smallest SFC number was happened on 0,6 kPa, which at this point was happened optimum combustion. Generally, at pressure range 0,6 kPa to 2,5 kPa, higher pressure will increase Specific Fuel Consumption (SFC) number, but the other way will need shorter time.

Abstract

The use of fossil fuels is now increasing while these resources will be used up if used continuously and these energy resources require a long process to be reused. Alternative energy sources and renewable energy reserves in Indonesia are quite large, but their development has not been optimal because of the geographical gap between the location of energy supply and demand and high technology investment to develop new renewable energy-based technologies and the application of new renewable energy technologies, especially in the electricity sector and as fuel. Based on research that has been carried out on the mechanics of involute inward vortex inflows, the optimal size of the impeller height has not yet been found. This study uses an experimental research method, namely by making a vortex turbine with a straight-section blade type that has a blade height of 180 mm, 210 mm and 240 mm with a water capacity of 10.1471 L / s. loading variations used 3 kg, 3.5 kg, 4 kg, 4.5 kg, 5 kg, 5.5 kg and 6 kg. Tests will be carried out with the above variables on torque, mechanical power and vortex turbine efficiency. The results obtained that the height of the impeller 210 mm has torque, mechanical power and optimal efficiency than the impeller height of 180 mm and 240 mm. The highest mechanical power produced by turbines with an impeller height of 210 mm at a capacity of 10.1471 L / s with a load of 6 kg has a mechanical power of 24.28 watts. The highest efficiency is owned by turbines with a height of 210 mm occurred at a capacity of 10.1471 L / s with a loading of 6 kg, having an efficiency of 37.93%. This is because by adding the height of the impeller to the turbine, the area of ​​the blade affected by the impact of the water fluid becomes more, even when given the turbine loading conditions are not completely submerged. The more blade area submerged by fluid has a more significant influence on the power and efficiency produced than turbines that are resistant to loading even though the turbine is perfectly submerged.

ABSTRACT Owncloud is one of application sharing data and free editions also accompanied the business and Enterprise Edition, provides good security. Implementation of mobile syncing with the concept of onwcloud is required because the Exchange or sharing of data like images, video, and other files more accessible and practical. Then the confidentiality of data between employees, was more assured because owncloud-based. The research was carried out using the method of mobile syncing. Mobile syncing allows for storage of two or more versions of the same file, stored on your computer and on the network folder, identical to each other. These methods through the stages of implementation, configuration and data synchronization. From the application of the mind that this support owncloud software data storage both in the application that has been synchronized so owncloud owncloud can run in well and smoothly when used, such as in the form of a video, image, text to be accessible on the intranet or the internet. Kemudian kerahasiaan data antar karyawan, lebih terjamin karena berbasis owncloud. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode mobile syncing. Mobile syncing mengijinkan untuk penyimpanan dua atau lebih versi dari file yang sama, yang tersimpan pada komputer dan pada jaringan folder, identik satu sama lain. Metode tersebut melalui tahapan-tahapan antara lain: implementasi, konfigurasi dan sinkronisasi data. Dari penerapan tersebut diketahui bahwa perangkat lunak owncloud ini menunjang penyimpanan data baik, yaitu pada aplikasi owncloud yang telah disinkronisasi sehingga owncloud tersebut bisa berjalan secara baik dan lancar ketika digunakan, seperti berupa video, image, teks agar dapat diakses di jaringan intranet maupun internet. Abstract

ABSTRACT Islamic University”45” computer network needs a safe network to strengthen the network security systems to protect servers from attacks such as Port Scanning and DoS attack (Denial of Service). One of the network security techniques is De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) that is a mechanism to protect the internal system from hacker attacks or other parties who want to enter the system with no access. The purpose of this Project is to implement LAN network security system using De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) technique, with a single firewall that supports the internal and external networks. The results of the DMZ technique implementation at the Islamic University's "45", it is found that filter DoS attack can be implemented well. Data analysis results show DoS attack with the type of ICMP Flooding attack, and UDP Flooding attack can be blocked with Percentage of success is 98%. Keywords : attack, network security, de-militarized zone ABSTRAK Jaringan komputer Universitas Islam “45” memerlukan keamanan jaringan untuk dapat memperkuat sistem keamanan jaringan pada server dari serangan seperti Port Scanning dan DoS (Denial of Service). Salah satu teknik keamanan jaringan yaitu De-Militarized Zone (DMZ) yang merupakan mekanisme untuk melindungi sistem internal dari serangan hacker atau pihak-pihak lain yang ingin memasuki sistem tanpa mempunyai hak akses. Tujuan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan sistem keamanan jaringan LAN menggunakan teknik De-Militarized Zone (DMZ). metode dasar adalah dengan menggunakan firewall tunggal yang menjadi penyangga jaringan internal dan external. Hasil penelitian implementasi teknik DMZ pada layanan server jaringan komputer Universitas Islam “45” dapat melakukan filter DoS attack dengan baik, data hasil analisa menunjukan DoS attack dengan jenis ICMP Flooding attack, dan UDP Flooding attack dapat di-block dengan Persentase keberhasilan sebesar 98%. Abstract

Health monitoring reports against COVID-19 suspect must be presented every day at 7 o’clock in the morning and 7 o’clock at night. In this report, every patient vital signs must be monitored in order to prevent a potential decline in the level of health from the patient. One of the symptoms observed in this monitoring is a change in body temperature. This monitoring should be carried out without touching the patient’s skin to reduce potential risks of droplets that contain the virus from spreading. This work proposes an idea related to non-contact temperature monitoring which is suitable to use in this pandemic condition. This idea realization process by building a data storage terminal for body temperature scans that is mobile, cheap and has a large storage capacity. This mobile terminal is an integration of the MLX90614 a temperature sensor series, Arduino UNO and Telegram apps. In addition, the communication process between the sensor and the Telegram apps utilizes the GPRS cellular network services. Before arriving at the Telegram apps, this data will pass through gateway site which acts as a collector and relay. In the process of sending the temperature data is then converted into two body temperature categories, normal temperature and abnormal temperature. Based on the trial results that have been carried out, this system consumes 2A of current and 5V of voltage. The communication time duration between the temperature data acquisition system and the collector site is 28 seconds. While the length of time for sending the data from the collector site to the Telegram apps is 8 seconds
