Abstract

The students of Arabic Education at State Institute of Al-Qur’an study Ilmu Bayan in order to understand about the beauty and majesty of Al-Qur’an verses, language style, Arabic expression, and to compose the right and good sentences. But, in the fact, learning of Ilmu Bayan cannot comply all of those criterion. There are many problems in this case such as: Students have difficulties to remember the rules of Ilmu Bayan and they try to compare Ilmu Bayan study to Indonesian language study. The learned book is using Arabic language without any translation and it’s also dominated by Arabic poem which is difficult to understand. Based on those data, the researcher develops a teaching book based on contractive analysis.This research use qualitative and quantitative approach with research and development method. The result of this research are: 1 contrastive analysis between Ilmu Bayan style of language and Indonesian style of language, 2 Product, that is a teaching book of Ilmu Bayan for STIQ Amuntai students. So that the steps to arrange the book are: need analysis, collecting data, product design, validating product, revise product, expediency test of product, revise of expedience test of product, effectiveness test of product, revise product, 3 Teaching book arranged by researcher is effective in learning Ilmu Bayan, known by comparing control and experiment group posttest result, that is T counting (4,36) more than T table (1,71) and T table (2,42).

Abstract

Mufrodat is one of the language elements that must be mastered. However, the problem that students often face when learning a foreign language, including Arabic, is that students easily forget in remembering a number of vocabulary that has been memorized. To overcome this problem, the researcher offers a Talking Stick learning model to improve the mastery of Arabic vocabulary. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Talking Stick learning model in improving students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary. This research is a quantitative research with a type of quasi experiment approach (pseudo experiment) design the non-equivalent control group, with a sample of 27 students consisting of 14 students (control class) and 13 students (experimental class). The data collection method used was a test consisting of pre-test and post-test. The data analysis technique used was the independent sample t-test. Based on the research results obtained, the average value of the post-test in the experimental class was 90, while the control class was 60. The results of data analysis using the independent sample t-test showed that the significance value (2 tailed) was 0.000 <0.05. It can be said that  is rejected and  is accepted. Based on the results of the N-Gain Score calculation, it shows that the average value of the N-Gain score for the experimental class is 0.7840, including in the high category. So it can be concluded that the Talking Stick learning model is effective in a high category in improving students' mastery of Arabic vocabulary at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darussalam Samarinda.

Abstract

Sparkol VideoScribe is a cloud-based software that enables teachers to easily create animated videos, providing flexibility in designing learning materials tailored to students' needs. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of Sparkol VideoScribe as a learning media in enhancing Arabic vocabulary for elementary school students at the Islamic Center in Samarinda. The research method employed in this study is a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design approach. The research sample consisted of 39 students, with 20 students in the experimental group (class 5 ASK) and 19 students in the control group (class 5 AA). Research instruments included tests, observations, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used in this study involved the independent sample t-test and N-Gain test. The results revealed that the post-test scores for the experimental group increased by 27 points from the pre-test score of 55.80 to 82.80. Furthermore, the independent sample t-test resulted in a Sig. 2-tailed value of 0.001 < 0.05, leading to the conclusion that Ha is accepted, and H0 is rejected. The N-Gain value for the experimental group was 0.6145, suggesting that the effectiveness of Sparkol VideoScribe as a learning media in improving Arabic vocabulary for elementary school students at the Islamic Center in Samarinda falls within the category of moderate effectiveness."

Abstract

Interactive and competitive learning media, such as Spelling Bee, have the potential to increase students' involvement in the learning process, which can have a positive impact on their learning outcomes, this study aims to examine the effectiveness of spelling bee learning media in improving the mastery of Arabic vocabulary of MIN 2 Samarinda students. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental approach, with a sample of 68 people consisting of 34 people (experimental class) and 34 people (control class). The data collection methods used were observation, interviews, tests consisting of pre-test and post-test and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive analysis test, normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain test. The results showed that the experimental group using spelling bee learning media experienced a significant increase in vocabulary mastery compared to the control group using conventional learning methods. The post-test mean value of the experimental group was 80.88, while the control group achieved a post-test mean value of 61.03 In addition, the Sig value of the t-test results of the significance value (Sig. (2 tailed)) of 0.00 because the Sig value <0.005, as the independent sample t-test test decision making that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, the researcher concluded that spelling bee learning media is effective in learning Arabic vocabulary.

Abstract

Arabic language learning at the elementary school level often faces challenges, particularly in engaging students and improving their learning outcomes. Traditional methods, which tend to be monotonous, can hinder student involvement in the learning process. Therefore, innovation in teaching methods is needed, one of which is game-based learning. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the game-based learning method in Arabic language instruction to enhance the learning outcomes of 5th-grade students at MI Ar-Raudhah Samarinda. This research employs a quantitative approach using a Quasi-Experimental Design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research sample consisted of 48 students, comprising 24 students from Class 5A (experimental group) and 24 students from Class 5B (control group). The research instruments included tests, observations, and documentation. The data analysis techniques utilized were independent sample t-tests and N-Gain tests. The results indicate that the post-test scores of the experimental group showed an increase of 35.12 points, from a pre-test score of 51.50 to 86.62. The independent sample t-test revealed a 2-tailed Sig. Value of 0.015 < 0.050, leading to the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha) and the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0). Additionally, the N-Gain value for the experimental class was 76.9505, which concludes that the effectiveness of the game-based learning method in Arabic language instruction to improve the learning outcomes of 5th-grade students at MI Ar-Raudhah Samarinda is categorized as highly effective.
