Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the comparison of compressive strength mortar with additional material rice husk ash to normal mortar. Rice husk ash used has been burned at high temperatures above 400°C. The percentages of rice husk ash used are 6%, 9%, 12%, and 15% with 7 samples in each variations. The total of mortar cubes are 105 pieces sized 50mm x 50mm x 50mm. The range of initial flow values are used 105%-115% (SNI 03-6882-2002). The test specimen was immersed for 13, 20, and 27 days and mortar compressive strength test was conducted at the age of 14, 21, and 28 days. The highest compressive strength occurred at 9% variation with an average compressive strength value of 13,24 MPa, with a percentage increase of 10,15% from normal mortar. The lowest compressive strength occurred at 6% variation with an average compressive strength value of 11,22 MPa, with percentage decrease of 6,66% from normal mortar. The result shows that the use of rice husk ash with variation 9% and 12% produce higher compressive strength than normal mortar.

Abstract

Mortar is material used in non-structural elements. The increasing of quality of the mortar can be obtained by adding other alternative materials to its constituent materials. The materials that have pozzolan characteristic can increase the compressive strength of the mortar. Fly ash has a pozzolan characteristic and contains silica so that it can be used as an additive to cement. This study aims to know the compressive strength of mortar by using fly ash as the additional material of cement with the ratio of cement to fine agregate were 1pc : 3ps on 14, 21, and 28 days. The sample of the mortar is a cuboid sized 50mm x 50mm x 50mm. The variations of fly ash used were 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% with 7 samples in each variations. The range of initial flow values was between 105%-115% (SNI 03-6882-2002). The biggest compressive strength value for normal mortar is 11.15 MPa and the biggest compressive strength for the variation of mortar is 14.43 MPa at 15% variation at 28 days. The percentage increase in the compressive strength of the mortar is 29,48% from normal mortar.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Konstruksi bangunan tidak lepas dari ancaman bahaya bencana diantaranya gempa bumi dan kebakaran, begitu juga dengan bangunan Pasar Tradisional Modern (PTM). Kebakaran yang terjadi pada bangunan PTM pada tanggal 14 Desember 2018 dapat mempengaruhi sifat-sifat beton dan bahan penyusunnya, bahkan pada suhu tertentu dapat mengurangi kuat tekan beton. Meningkatnya suhu ruang akibat kebakaran akan terus merambat kelapisan beton seiring meningkatnya suhu kebakaran dan durasi kebakaran yang terjadi. Studi tingkat kerusakan dilakukan dengan mempelajari jenis kerusakan dilapangan, warna beton dapat menggambarkan tingginya suhu kebakaran dan mempelajari layout struktur eksisting. Pemeriksaan kualitas beton eksisting pasca kebakaran juga dilakukan dengan metode core drill, hammer test dan uji tarik untuk mengetahui kualitas baja tulangan. Kerusakan pada elemen struktur pasca kebakaran berupa pemisahan beton/spalling, retak/crack pada balok mengakibatkan lendutan/deflection yang berlebihan. Beton yang terdampak kebakaran memiliki warna mulai dari abu-abu sampai kuning kemerahan, yang mengindikasikan suhu kebakaran di atas 1000°C. Sebagian besar elemen struktur yang terdampak kebakaran tidak memiliki kinerja yang memenuhi standar dan dengan berbagai pertimbangan maka bangunan tidak dapat digunakan kembali sebelum adanya perlakuan baik perbaikan, perkuatan atau pembongkaran dan pembangunan kembali. Abstract

This study aims to compare structural modeling with the addition of wall elements and without walls with the help of SAP2000 software. The method used in this study is time history analysis using the San Fernando groundmotion data. Based on the modeling that has been done, the participation of the variance mass has reached 90% for structures with walls in mode 278 while without walls in mode 243. The addition of walls in this study resulted in a decrease in the drift value. The average percentage of settlement of each floor is 40.12% for the X direction and 30.26% for the Y direction. The addition of walls can also reduce the period value of the structure, where the structure with walls has a period value of 1.0804 seconds while the structure without walls is 1 ,2016 sec.   Keywords: Building Structure, Infill Wall, Drift, Time History Analysis

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using kaolin on the compressive strength of mortar compared to normal mortar, as well as to identify the optimum percentage of kaolin that yields the highest compressive strength. The research uses an experimental method with references from journals. The test specimens are made using cube molds with dimensions of 5 cm × 5 cm × 5 cm, totaling 100 specimens. Compressive strength tests will be conducted at the ages of 7, 14, 21, and 28 days.The cement replacement variations using kaolin are 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%. The highest compressive strength value occurred at the 10% kaolin variation on day 28, with an average strength of 23.8 MPa. Compared to normal mortar, which has a strength of 23.6 MPa, the increase in compressive strength with 10% kaolin is minimal. Meanwhile, mortar with more than 20% kaolin shows a decrease in compressive strength compared to normal mortar.

Abstract

Abstrak: Analisis Debit Puncak Dengan Pendekatan Metode Hidrograf Satuan Sintetis ITB2 Dan Hec Ras 5.0.7 Pada Das Air Manna Bagian Hilir. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis debit puncak Das Air Manna Bagian Hilir dan menganalisis titik lokasi yang akan melimpas berpotensi banjir menggunakan software HEC-RAS versi 5.0.7. Penelitian ini menggunakan data sekunder berupa curah hujan harian selama 10 tahun dari 3 stasiun hujan. Metode yang digunakan untuk menentukan debit puncak adalah menggunakan pendekatan metode Hidrograf Satuan Sintetis (HSS) ITB 2 yang kemudian diintegrasikan kedalam program HEC-RAS versi 5.0.7. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan debit puncak pada daerah aliran sungai Air Manna sangat tinggi dibandingkan dengan fakta yang ada dilapangan sehingga perlu dilakukan penelitian ulang dengan titik tinjauan yang lebih banyak. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari program HEC-RAS didapat bahwa Sungai Air Manna Bagian Hilir sudah tidak mampu menampung debit banjir, daerah potensi banjir terjadi disepanjang STA 5770 (Desa Batu Kuning) sampai ke STA 0 (Desa Ketaping). Kata kunci : Debit puncak, HSS ITB 2, HEC-RAS 5.0.7, DAS Air Manna, Banjir Abstract: Analysis Of Peak Discharge Using Synthetic Units Hydrograph ITB 2 (HSS-ITB 2) And Hec-Ras 5.0.7 At Downstream Watershed Air Manna. The research aims to analyze the peak discharge (Maximum) of Air Manna’s DAS Downstream and the location points that it will potentially overflow. This research used HEC-RAS program with version 5.0.7. The research’s Secondary data is in the form of daily rainfall for 10 years from 3 rain stations. The method used to determine the peak discharge was using the ITB 2 Synthetic Unit Hydrograph (HSS) method which was then integrated into the HEC-RAS progam with version 5.0.7. The results showed top of flow on stream Manna river is very high than by the fact in the field, so need to do repetitive research in more spot of river. Based on the results of the analysis of the HEC-RAS program, it was found that the Air Manna River Downstream was unable to accommodate the flood discharge, the potential flood areas occurred along STA 5770 (Batu Kuning Village) to STA 0 (Ketaping Village). Abstract

Kalamansi oranges (Citrus microcarpa) are a horticultural commodity typical of Bengkulu Province with high economic potential. However, their utilization as a value-added processed product is still limited. This training activity aims to provide knowledge and skills in making kalamansi syrup, a superior product of Bengkulu Province, to residents of RT 18, Lempuing Village, Bengkulu City. The activity was carried out through socialization, practice, and evaluation methods. The training results showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills and the formation of a small-scale business development plan. This activity supports community empowerment and strengthening the local economy, while promoting Bengkulu's signature products.
