Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas model guided inquiry berbasis lingkungan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self efficacy pada materi kingdom plantae. Metode quasi eksperimen dengan sampel yang digunakan adalah siswa kelas X MIPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas X MIPA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol. Adapun data diambil dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, kuesioner self efficacy , dan tes essay kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas model guided inquiry berbasis lingkungan terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis memperoleh nilai nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,021 0,05 sehingga terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Pada uji hipotesis terhadap efektivitas model guided inquiry berbasis lingkungan terhadap self efficacy memperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,024 0,05 yang sehingga terdapat perbedaan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Model guided inquiry berbasis lingkungan efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis dan self efficacy peserta didik.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the effect of giving eco-enzymes on the growth and development of avocado plants (Persea americana) as well as the optimum concentration that can be given to avocado plants (Persea americana). This study was quantitative research with CRD (Completely Randomized Design as experimental design. The difference test used was ANOVA and DMRT used as further tests. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of eco-enzyme on the growth and development of Persea americana. The results of the ANOVA test showed a significance value of 0.001 on the growth of plant length and 0.000 on the number of leaves. Both significance values ​​<0.05 which means that shown a significant effect. The optimum concentration was found in the P2 treatment, which was 5 mL/L with an average plant length of 31.5 cm and an average number of leaves of 15 strands.

Abstract

Creative thinking ability is one of the essential competencies of the 21st century that needs to be instilled in biology learning. however, many studies show that conventional approaches have not been effective in developing students’ creative thinking skills. This study aims to preliminary research data on project-based learning models in improving students’ creative thinking skills in biology learning through a literature review. The research method used a literature study with the help of prism in analyzing 12 relevant scientific articles, published between 2020 and 2025, from various scientific journals/articles, and books. The analysis was conducted based on the implementation, effectiveness, and impact of project-based learning models on creative thinking skills. The results of the review show that the project-based learning model is able to significantly improve students’ creative thinking skills through activities that involve exploration, problem analysis, and application of biological concepts relevant to real life. In addition, the project-based learning model is also be able to encourage collaborative and develop communication skills. The application of project-based learning model is very effective in learning because it provides meaningful and relevant learning experiences by involving students directly in learning. The conclusions obtained from the 12 articles analyzed provide the same statement and evidence that the application of project-based learning models has significant potential in improving creative thinking skills in biology learning.
