Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology is currently pushing the mass media industry, especially newspapers, to make adjustments. The development of this technology has changed human habits in accessing information from the mass media. One adjustment to the development of digital technology is through media convergence. If one wants to survive in the digital era, convergence is absolutely necessary. This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies undertaken by the management of the Pikiran Rakyat newspaper to maintain its existence in the digital era. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with the management of the Pikiran Rakyat newspaper, as well as a literature review of previous research on the same topic. The analysis results show that the Pikiran Rakyat newspaper applies the multimedia, multichannel, and multiplatform (3M) strategy. According to the management, implementing this strategy is the answer to the dynamic changes in people's perspectives on obtaining information. Hopefully, this research can serve as a reference for future media studies and information and communication technology researchers, and provide useful insights for the mass media industry as it adjusts to the current digital era.

Abstract

The Family Planning Program (FP) is one of the Government's efforts to improve community welfare, through child birth regulation. This study aims to analyze the effect of communication satisfaction on communication effectiveness and organizational performance of FP extension centers. This study is descriptive explanatory using statistical analysis and survey design. The Slovin formula is used to determine the number of samples, with a total sample of 430 samples and the sampling technique used is stratified random sampling. There is a positive and significant influence of communication satisfaction on the effectiveness of organizational communication in the FP extension center and the organizational performance of the FP extension center. Central and local governments, as well as other related parties in order to pay attention to the communication satisfaction in improving the effectiveness of communication and organizational performance of FP extension centers

Abstract

he family development program is one part of the Bangga Kencana Program, implemented as an effort to realize quality families living in a healthy environment. Adolescents as a bride-to-be become the focus of family development and stunting programs need to be prepared to live a family life in an effort to prevent stunting. This study aims to analyze the role of family communication and the efforts that have been made in family life preparation for adolescents to prevent stunting. This study uses a qualitative approach using content analysis techniques towards available documents. Findings on the role of family communication in family life preparation for adolescents to prevent stunting are very important for family development through the role of the family as a communication system and the role of parents in building intimate relationships with family members. So it is recommended to apply a family communication approach in family life preparation for adolescents to prevent stunting, by emphasizing the role of the family as a communication system. This study has limitations on the number of documents in the content analysis, so for further study it is recommended to increase the number of documents.

Abstract

Balai penyuluhan Keluarga Berencana (KB) memiliki peran strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia di Indonesia melalui pelaksanaan penyuluhan Program Pembangunan Keluarga, Kependudukan, dan Keluarga Berencana (Bangga Kencana). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor penentu kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB dan merumuskan model komunikasi organisasi yang dapat mendukung kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma positivistik, dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang menggunakan analisis Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model (PLS SEM) dan desain survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik acak bertingkat. Penelitian ini menentukan jumlah sampel dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin, dengan total sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 430 sampel, dengan rincian 228 sampel di Kabupaten Cianjur dan 202 sampel di Kabupaten Indramayu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan dari kepuasan komunikasi tenaga lini lapangan dan efektivitas komunikasi organisasi di balai penyuluhan KB terhadap kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB. Model kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB berbasis komunikasi organisasi, berimplikasi pada perumusan konsep pengembangan kinerja organisasi balai penyuluhan KB dengan menerapkan konsep hubungan manusia dalam organisasi.
