Abstract

Al-Quran education is a non-formal educational institution with a type of Islamic religionaimed at providing teaching reading the Al-Quran, understanding the basic knowledge of Islamin early childhood. TPA Al-Muttaqin as a PKM-M activity partner has quite a lot of studentsfrom early childhood. The lack of teaching staff and the methods used in teaching santri weremonotonous by confronting the students one by one to justify their reading, so there were onlya few students when they were studying and more students played due to lack of supervision.The aim of PKM-M is to increase the understanding of santri regarding the learning ofjurisprudence and iqro, to give understanding and knowledge to teachers and parents of santriby conducting counseling and socialization as well as mentoring technological knowledge inlearning. The PKM-M team uses a learning by doing system method with educational-basedteaching media. First, counseling activities for giving material. Second, training activities toteach coaches and instructors in implementing educational media in learning. Third, evaluationmonitoring activities. So the results increase the understanding of santri regarding fiqh and iqrolearning, add insight and knowledge to teachers and santri parents related to the application ofeducational media.

Abstract

Kecelakaan kerja adalah penyebab utama kerugian yang signifikan. Menurut data ILO, 430 juta insiden terjadi setiap tahun, dengan kerugian ekonomi mencapai hingga 4% dari PDB suatu negara. Di Indonesia, meskipun jumlah perusahaan yang mencapai nol kecelakaan telah meningkat, banyak yang masih menghadapi tantangan dalam mengendalikan kecelakaan kerja. Diketahui bahwa 88% kecelakaan kerja disebabkan oleh tindakan yang tidak aman. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi program B-Safety di PT X Sragen. Berdasarkan data K3 perusahaan, kecelakaan terus sering terjadi di unit jahit, yang telah diselidiki karena tindakan yang tidak aman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak dan efektivitas program dalam mengurangi tindakan tidak aman sebagai bagian dari upaya peningkatan manajemen keselamatan kerja. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pra-eksperimental dengan desain pasca tes pra-uji satu kelompok. Intervensi penelitian adalah implementasi program B-Safety, dengan total pengambilan sampel populasi yang melibatkan 55 operator jahit di PT X Sragen. Studi ini mengukur tindakan tidak aman responden dan efektivitas implementasi B-Safety melalui kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-T berpasangan dan d Cohen. Penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dalam tindakan tidak aman (p-value = 0,000; p ? 0,05) sebelum dan sesudah implementasi program B-Safety. Efektivitas program B-Safety termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai ukuran efek d = 0,8 (d > 0,8). Implementasi program B-Safety secara signifikan mengurangi tindakan tidak aman di PT X Sragen, menunjukkan tingkat efektivitas yang tinggi.

Abstract

Fluctuations in Indonesia’s economic growth have affected labor absorption amid an increasing labor force and a declining unemployment rate in 2022. Nevertheless, low labor competitiveness and skill mismatches with labor market demand remain major challenges, particularly for young people. This study aims to analyze the impact of training and apprenticeship on employment probability in Indonesia while accounting for potential selection bias in participation in skill-development programs. The study utilizes data from the August 2022 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), comprising 752,688 observations. The analytical method employed is Propensity Score Matching (PSM) to estimate the Average Treatment Effect on the Treated (ATT), with employment status as the outcome variable and covariates including educational attainment, age, gender, area of residence, marital status, and school enrollment status. The estimation results indicate that participation in training has a positive and statistically significant effect on employment probability, increasing the likelihood of being employed by approximately 13–14 percentage points for training participants after matching. In addition, apprenticeship participation also exhibits a positive and significant impact on employment status, increasing employment probability by approximately 11 percentage points after controlling for observable individual characteristics. These findings suggest that both training and apprenticeship play an important role in improving employment opportunities, albeit through different mechanisms. Both indicate that skills development programmers can be an effective labour market policy instrument for improving youth transition to employment.
