Abstract

Basically every parent wants their children to grow and develop according to what is expected. If a boy, then usually the parents want a son who brave and mighty, so that when these boys want to play games such as cooking, cooking, playing dolls, playing jump rope and so his parents would be angry with a reason because these games are games intended for girls. Vice versa, girls forbidden to play football, play war, climbing trees and so on, with the reasons for these games can change the image of the meek daughter. This is a parenting mistakes that can lead to misunderstandings in children. Whereas all types of games that can help cultivate and develop the potential of intelligence that exist in every child.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the problem of the lack of mastery of the Sundanese vocabulary of group B children at TK Kartika X-I. These problems require a medium that can motivate and develop the ability to master Sundanese vocabulary in early childhood. One alternative is through a computer learning program (software). The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence or improvement after using a computer learning program for color vocabulary, numbers, and objects. This research uses a quasi-experimental method, the research subjects are children of group B1 (experimental) and children of group B2 (control) at Kartika X-1 Bandung Kindergarten in the 2013/2014 academic year. The data that will be obtained are the results of observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. Researchers conducted pretests and posttests on both groups which will be compared to increase the mastery of Sundanese vocabulary. The results showed an effect of the Sundanese language learning program on the mastery of Sundanese vocabulary in the experimental group. The experimental group got an average of 77.4% while the control group amounted to 61.40%.

Abstract

Code-switching is increasingly prevalent in digital communication, particularly on popular platforms such as Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, and Twitter. This trend reflects a shift in communication practices within increasingly multilingual and global digital spaces. This study examines code-switching in digital communication and the factors influencing this phenomenon, including social context, audience, and the types of platforms used. This research analyses various journals, articles, and previous studies on code-switching in digital contexts using a qualitative approach and a literature review method. The results show that code-switching is influenced by social and psychological factors, with speakers often switching languages to adapt to their audience or to express cultural identity. Other findings indicate that code-switching is a communication strategy that enriches digital interaction and strengthens user social ties. Additionally, local languages are more dominant on private platforms, while English is more frequently used on platforms with international audiences. This research provides new insights into the dynamics of language in digital communication and its relevance to shaping social identity in cyberspace.

Abstract

Parenting plays a crucial role in shaping children's eating behavior, which directly affects their nutritional intake and developmental process, especially during the golden age (0–5 years). At this stage, children require a balanced diet to support physical growth, brain development, and immune system formation. Inappropriate parenting—such as neglecting the quality and quantity of food—can lead to growth disorders like stunting or deficiencies in essential nutrients. This paper aims to describe the relationship between parenting patterns and the adequacy of nutritional intake in optimizing child development. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, analyzing various sources such as books, scientific journals, and relevant articles discussing parenting concepts, child nutrition, and stages of early childhood development. The results show that responsive, supportive, and attentive parenting greatly influences children's eating patterns and their nutritional adequacy. Therefore, good parenting must be accompanied by parents' understanding of children's nutritional needs to ensure optimal growth and development. ABSTRAKPola asuh orang tua berperan penting dalam membentuk perilaku makan anak, yang secara langsung memengaruhi asupan gizi dan proses tumbuh kembang mereka, terutama pada masa usia emas (0–5 tahun). Pada fase ini, anak membutuhkan nutrisi seimbang untuk menunjang pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan otak, dan pembentukan daya tahan tubuh. Pola asuh yang tidak tepat, seperti kurangnya perhatian terhadap kualitas dan kuantitas makanan, dapat menyebabkan gangguan pertumbuhan, seperti stunting atau defisiensi nutrien penting. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dan kecukupan asupan gizi terhadap optimalisasi tumbuh kembang anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi pustaka (literature review), yaitu mengkaji berbagai sumber seperti buku, jurnal ilmiah, dan artikel relevan yang membahas konsep pola asuh, gizi anak, dan tahapan perkembangan anak usia dini. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh yang responsif, suportif, dan penuh perhatian sangat berpengaruh terhadap pola makan anak dan kecukupan gizi yang diperolehnya. Dengan demikian, pola asuh yang baik harus disertai pemahaman orang tua tentang kebutuhan gizi anak agar proses tumbuh kembang berlangsung optimal.

Abstract

Traditional games are part of a cultural heritage with numerous educational values and great potential to support children's growth process in their early age. However, traditional games are starting to be replaced by modern games that focus less on children's physical development. One of the skills that is very important to develop early is gross motor skills. This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of early childhood by applying traditional games called Engklek at KB Daarul Aulad Ciparay. The method applied was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles involving 20 children aged 5 to 6 years. Data was collected through observation with assessment tools that assess aspects of balance, agility, and speed. The results of the study showed an increase in the average gross motor skills of children from 91.66% in cycle I to 94.99% in cycle II. The findings suggest that Engklek is effective as a learning tool to develop children's gross motor skills in a fun and contextualized way.
