Abstract

Industrial environment has seen from the ability of company to meet the high requirements and expectations from consumers on quality, cost, and processing time. Experienced estimators on project tend to underestimate or pesimistic bias when assessing when project will be completed or how much it will cost for the project. Purpose of this study is to identify whether optimistic biases influence project estimation and submit proposal intervention. This study use a solar power plant project as a case study. Respondents in this study were employees of an EPC company that was categorized as a novice and expert. Optimistic bias occur on the accuracy of time and the cost of the respondent. In general, the accuracy of expert respondents in estimating project time and costs is more accurate than respondent novice. Intervention in this study is when estimating project time and costs should be carried out by expert category estimator.

Abstract

Thesis is a condition that must be fulfilled by prospective graduates to be able to get a bachelor's degree. This study uses optimistic bias because in general humans experience overestimation (optimistic bias) on things that are considered as positive events, but underestimate (pessimistic biases) on negative events. This study uses the completion time of the Final Project Report as a case study. The results of this study are that there are systematic errors / biases in the accuracy data at the estimated time of completion of the final project. Accuracy time occurs Optimistic bias because the estimated value tends to be smaller when compared with the actual time value. Statistically it can be concluded that there is no difference in the accuracy of the estimated data completion of final assignments between male and female students.

Abstract

The movement needs that always increases will cause some problems, especially people are heading to the same destination of the certain area at the same time. To reduce the problems caused by the increase in the number of movements, it is necessary to analyze the future distribution of aircraft passenger movements. The research model is the distribution of aircraft passenger movements in Java Island using the Furness model. In this case, it is found that the Furness model is the best method because have a standard deviation and mean absolute percentage error to the smallest. It could be concluded that the Furness model is more accurate when compared to the Gravity Model (DGCR) with tanner obstacle function in estimating the distribution of movements in 2025 in Java Island

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Traditional markets in Indonesia have experienced a decline in performance as from 2002 to 2013. Sales value in 2002 was 74.8%, in 2005 the sales value of traditional markets was 67.6%, then in 2011 it was 55.8%. Giwangan Market is the largest traditional market in the area of Yogyakarta Province. However, many of the traditional markets have inadequate infrastructure both in terms of cleanliness and tidiness of the market location which is detrimental to truck drivers in these markets. Research shows that driver fatigue is the cause of road accidents by 30%. Regarding the measurement of mental workload, subjective measures of workload are easy to provide and have high assessment ability because the measurement is independent of the task. The Decision Support System Model can provide input to Giwangan Market managers to show the mental workload scale of truck drivers using the NASA-TLX Scale (Task Load Index) approach, the most widely used subjective scale by asking participants to rank separately on the mental command subscales. demand, physical demand, temporal demand, own performance, effort, and frustration level. The results of the system show that the mental workload of truck drivers in Giwangan Yogyakarta Market has a very high workload, as many as 4 drivers, 5 drivers have a high workload and 1 driver has a fairly high workload interpretation.

Abstract

The application of HSE culture is an integral part of national development to increase Indonesia's productivity and competitiveness. Based on data from the Manpower Social Security Organizing Agency (BPJS), throughout 2017, 1,877 claims were recorded, equivalent to Rp 41.2 billion. Construction work is considered to have a high risk of work accident rates. Occupational accident data states that 30% of work accident cases occur in the construction sector. The PJU Solar Cell construction workers in the Wonosobo area do not yet know about the safety, occupational health and environmental management system. If their workplace is safe and healthy, everyone can continue their work more effective and efficient. Conversely, if the workplace is not well organized and many dangers, damage and absenteeism are unavoidable, there is can make loss income for any workers and reduced productivity for their company. This counseling / socialization is considered successful even though it has experienced several obstacles during implementation. People who work during the project season like this have knowledge of their rights and obligations related to OSH. So that workers can better understand the risks that may occur while working.

Abstract

Various attempts have been made to combine in one composition to kill bacteria and detergents. So antiseptics such as coal tar, phenolic and crystalline preparations, mercury salts, as compounds of chlorides and iodides, arsenic and silver, and essential oils such as resin oil, terpenes, almond oil, and thyme oil. Has been used with soap, with alkaline salts of Long-chain fatty acids. The effective disinfectant is determined based on several parameters, namely: the phenol coefficient of the disinfectant and the water quality results measured from pH, dissolved oxygen (DO, dissolved oxygen), temperature and disinfectant cost. The antimicrobial effectiveness of the four selected disinfectants (Dettol, Izal, Z-Germicide and Jik) was determined using the agar diffusion method (disc paper). The results show that Dettol is most effective against the test organisms compared to other disinfectants. All noted the least antimicrobial activity. The phenol coefficient value also shows that Dettol is better when compared to other tested disinfectants. Disinfectant for external use is required to avoid infection or related disease caused by this test microorganism. This counselling was successful even though it encountered several obstacles during implementation. The steps that need to be done in making a disinfectant are determining the ingredients that are safest for humans but effective in eliminating various types of bacteria and viruses. The second stage is the implementation of activities. Activities carried out jointly by employees according to what has been planned. In the third stage, monitoring and evaluation of activities are carried out. This process is also carried out jointly with employees. Employees who work directly to random consumers will really need special knowledge on how to make disinfectant fluids. Keywords: Antiseptic, Disinfectant, Virus
