Abstract

The dynamics of developmental technology and information in the Postglobalization era has a significant impact in building the scientific method of education, especially for Islamic Education. The teacher or Tutor as the main actor in delivering the learning material in the classroom is required to be able to map and guide students in understanding and implementing Islamic value. This article aims to developing PAI learning models through the Metacognitive Keyword Model (MKM). A teaching method intended for teachers / tutors so that they can guide their own thoughts in delivering the material appropriately, effectively and efficiently. The term "Keyword" refers to the ?stressing point? of every material taught. MKM consists of several stages including (1) refresh; (2) re-arrange the keywords; (3) creating positive self talk or affirmation; (4) review and (5) Reflect. MKM can also be applied specifically to students through the keyword mapping process of each material. Through this model it is hoped that it will improve the quality of the learning process of Islamic Religion in educational settings.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teachers’ perceptions and readiness to face classroom instruction in the eras of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0. As an essential part of education, teachers are responsible for teaching (imparting knowledge to students) and educating them (shaping their character traits). These roles demand the design of a learning process that stimulates students to acquire 21st-century skills. The challenges posed by the disruptive era of Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 (supersmart society era) present significant hurdles for today’s teachers. To address these challenges, teachers demonstrate adaptability and embrace ongoing development. This study employed a qualitative descriptive method to gather data; the data were collected through observation, interviews, document review, and secondary data sources. The study's primary respondents were 15 teachers from schools/madrassas (Islamic schools) in 5 regencies; Kudus, Pati, Rembang, Grobogan, and Blora. The results reveal that technological devices, learning methods, and human resources are the most significant barriers for teachers facing the society 5.0 era. To overcome these challenges, teachers must develop professional competencies in utilizing digital technology during classroom instruction.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of grade II students of SD Negeri 2 Kendengsidialit on the material "Getting to Know Angels and Their Duties" through the application of the Make a Match method. Given the low achievement of learning completeness in the pre-cycle, classroom action research (PTK) was carried out for three cycles with a qualitative approach that integrated quantitative and qualitative data. The subjects of the study were 27 grade II students, with data collection techniques including participant observation—conducted by teachers as researchers and collaborators—as well as learning outcome tests at the end of each cycle. Quantitative data analysis is focused on calculating the average score and percentage of learning completeness, while qualitative data is analyzed through reduction, categorization, presentation, interpretation, and conclusion. The results showed a significant increase: in the pre-cycle, the average score was only 58.28 with a completeness of 11.43%; increased to 66.14 (45.71% completeness) in cycle I, 74.71 (65.71%) in cycle II, and reached 89.85 (100% completeness) in cycle III. These findings prove that  the Make a Match  method is effective in improving student learning outcomes in the teaching material. This research makes an original contribution in the form of innovative application of active learning methods in the context of Islamic religious education in elementary schools, while enriching the study of learning strategies that are responsive to the characteristics of early childhood students.
