Abstract

Halal certification is an obligation for MSME players in Indonesia. In accordance with government directives in Government Regulation Number 39 of 2021 which requires MSMEs to have halal certification from 17 October 2019 to 17 October 2024. After 17 October 2024, actors who do not have halal certification will receive sanctions from the government. The problem that occurs in the community related to the small number of MSMEs that carry out halal certification is the lack of knowledge and information regarding the process and flow of applying for halal certification for MSMEs, making MSMEs unable to carry out halal certification. The implementation of this community service was carried out in Sukamukti Village by holding a socialisation and assistance program for Free Halal Certification (SEHATI) for MSMEs in Sukamukti Village. The method of implementing this activity uses a training method to introduce new things to the community followed by the implementation of halal certification assistance. The conclusion in this mentoring activity runs smoothly. Overall, MSMEs that can be certified halal are Warung Seblak which focuses on food through a self-declaration programme. Halal certification shows positive results, including having an impact on increasing partner turnover.

Abstract

Bibliometriks is a method of quantitatively analyzing scientific literature to identify publication patterns, authors, and keywords relevant to a field of research. The VOSviewer tool helps in mapping collaboration networks, identifying research trends, and evaluating the impact of scientific work. Analysis of problems related to bibliometrik analysis studies has never been maximized by lecturers and students of Universitas Islam 45. This problem is due to the lack of information, understanding, and clinical skills about analysis applications using VOSviewer. The service method applies the method of training and community assistance through the delivery of question and answer material and discussion as well as implementation practices with assistance. The results of the bibliometrik training service are increased knowledge, motivation and research interest of lecturers and students in competing and interacting with other research at the global and even international levels. Bibliometrik training can also inspire new research ideas and encourage collaboration between researchers. Bibliometrik training equipped with attractive visualizations can contribute to improving the quality of research and strengthening the position of Universitas Islam 45 as an active institution in producing quality scientific work.

Abstract

The tree planting and maintenance movement in critical lands of Bekasi Regency is a community service activity organized by the Research and Community Service Institute of Universitas Islam 45, aimed at addressing environmental issues caused by land degradation, deforestation, and the lack of public awareness in maintaining the ecosystem.  Critical land in this area has the potential to cause negative impacts, such as erosion, decreased soil fertility, and reduced water absorption, which can increase the risk of floods and droughts.  Therefore, rehabilitation efforts are needed through tree planting and environmental maintenance involving various stakeholders.  The method of implementing the service adopts a participatory approach, including socialization and discussions with the West Java Regional Forestry Office 1.  The results of the activities show that tree planting was successfully carried out with the active participation of academics from Universitas Islam 45, local government, and the local community.  This program not only impacts environmental improvement but also raises public awareness about the importance of nature conservation.  The tree planting and maintenance movement has become a strategic step in rehabilitating critical land and creating a greener and more sustainable environment.  Collaboration between academics, the government, and the community is crucial to ensure the long-term sustainability of this program.

Abstract

This community service activity was motivated by the low utilization of cricket farming potential as an alternative creative economic enterprise and a source of highly nutritious, environmentally friendly food. The implementation method was carried out through observation, planning, purchasing cricket eggs, cultivation training, and mentoring for participants consisting of lecturers and students from Universitas Islam 45, Bekasi City, with a total of 335 participants, 150 of whom participated offline and 185 participated online through a video conferencing application. The results of the activity showed that participants gained an in-depth understanding of cricket farming techniques, from hatching eggs to harvesting, the importance of using fresh feed, the nutritional value contained in crickets, and the economic potential that can be developed into high-value products. The obstacles that arose in the form of limited initial experience in farming were overcome through a hands-on approach and interactive discussions. In the context of the Society 5.0 era, this activity also integrated digital technology with cricket farming through microcontrollers and humidity sensors. The conclusion of this activity is that cricket farming has proven to be an alternative for strengthening food security, developing productive businesses, and increasing applicable academic knowledge in supporting sustainable economic development at the local level.
