Abstract

Background: Indonesia's efforts to reduce morbidity and mortality diseases conduct disease control programs, especially infectious diseases such as tuberculosis with DOTS strategy. In 2014 the number of new cases of smear (+) as many as 176, 677 cases. The success rate of TB cases determined from the discovery of a case that is 70% of the population. in Community Heatlh Center X obtained only 43% of the target. The aim to analysis of the factors that hinder the discovery of suspected tuberculosis in working area Comm unity Health Center of X Kediri City. Methods: cross sectional design studyinvolve of 250 people. Results: The test results of multivariate logistic regression showed that there are six variables that have a significant influence on the discovery of suspected tuberculosis cases, the age> 35 years (p = 0.000) with OR 8.620, the early symptoms of cough (p = 0.017) with OR 3.119, facilities health destination (p =0.000) with OR 0.167, lower stigma (p = 0.001) with OR 3,.05, less knowledge (p = 0.000) with OR 8.763, and the lower economic status (p = 0.042) with OR 0.427. Based Nagelkerke R square value is 0.419 (41.9%), it shows that 41.9% of TB suspect cases inhibitors of the invention described by the six variables related, while 58.1% are factors that can be explained by other variables has not been studied in this research such as TB or influence cadre of health services. Conclusion: Factor inhibiting invention tuberculosis patient suspect are age>35 years, the early symptoms of cough, health care facilities targeted, low stigma, lack of knowledge, and low economic status

Abstract

One of the community services provided by the Bangkingan Village Office, an organization under the Surabaya City Government, is population administration. This study set out to characterize the level of population administration services provided by the Bangkingan Village Office in Surabaya City. Descriptive study using a qualitative approach is the methodology employed. Documentation, interviews, and observation are the methods used to gather data. The data is tested using data reduction, data display, data collection techniques, and conclusion drafting. The focus of this research uses indicators of the five dimensions of public service quality according to Zeithaml in (Hardiyansyah, 2018), namely tangibel, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results showed that the quality of service in the field of population administration at the Bangkingan Village Office in Surabaya City had fulfilled the four existing indicators. However, there is one indicator that is still not maximally fulfilled, namely tangibel. This is indicated in the aspect of the comfort of the population administration service place in Bangkingan Village which is still considered cramped, and the lack of provision of queuing chairs. Then in the aspect of ease of public access and the use of service aids, there is no signboard for other service rooms and computer facilities that still use old specifications.

Abstract

Multiple pregnancies have a 2-3 times greater risk of developing preeclampsia and have a significant long-term effect on both mothers and babies. The underlying cause of preeclampsia in women with multiple pregnancies is higher demand on the cardiovascular system, increased exposure of the chorionic villi, increased antiangiogenic substances compared to angiogenic substances and placental hypoperfusion. The condition of preeclampsia can worsen quickly, and without warning signs, it must be detected and managed appropriately; if the treatment is late, this condition can lead to eclampsia. The patient was referred with severe preeclampsia and multiple pregnancies with complaints of irregular contraction (+), a history of dizziness (-), nausea (-), vomiting (-), blurred vision (-), and breathlessness (-). Physical examination showed Blood pressure 188/125 mmHg with laboratory findings of proteinuria +3. Cesarean section and IUD insertion were performed. During and after surgery, there were no complications.

Abstract

Dengue fever (DHF) is an acute infectious disease caused by dengue virus. Thrombocytopenia results from viral suppression in the bone marrow, and platelet destruction occurs. Damaged platelets worsen plasma leakage. When the amount of filtration fluid exceeds the ability and fluid trapped in the interstitium eventually enters the alveoli, there is an increase in alveolar capillaries, resulting in pulmonary oedema. The patient was referred with complaints of fever for 5 days, dizziness (+), shortness of breath (+), nausea (+), and vomiting (+). Laboratory examination showed platelets 109 x 103/µL, positive Ig G DHF Immuno Serology, and thorax X-ray with pulmonary oedema. Cesarean section and IUD insertion were performed. During and after surgery, there were no complications.

Abstract

Anaemia is a condition in which the number of red blood cells or the haemoglobin concentration within them is lower than normal. Thalassemia is a Mutation of the globin gene can cause changes in the globin chain, e.g. structural haemoglobinopathy or changes in the rate of synthesis or the production ability of certain globin chains. Epidemiological research in Indonesia found that the frequency of the beta thalassemia gene ranges from 3-10%. Case report of patient Mrs. T, 27 years old, HPHT: 01-10-2023, routine ANC examination every month, ANC examination results 18-19 weeks no complaints and laboratory examination results Hb 4.7. Patients with thalassemia beta major and intermediate need to be given regular transfusions and kept their hemoglobin levels above 10 mg/dl. All patients with homozygous thalassaemia should receive folic acid supplements.
