Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the capacity of high school teachers in developing innovative learning tools based on the Independent Curriculum. The training took the form of a one-day intensive workshop at Raudlatul Jannah An Nur Darek Islamic High School in Central Lombok, and was attended by 15 teachers from various subject groups. The training materials covered the concept of innovative teaching tools, 21st-century learning models (such as Project-Based Learning and Problem-Based Learning), and practical lessons and digital teaching media development using Canva and Wordwall. Formative evaluation was conducted through participant observation and the quality of the products produced by participants. Results showed a significant increase in teacher understanding and skills, with all participants able to develop lesson plans that included achievement-based learning objectives, active learning, and HOTS-based assessments. Furthermore, the training fostered positive attitudes toward the use of technology in learning and the importance of contextual instructional design. This training demonstrated that a practical and participatory approach can effectively improve teacher competency in a short time. This training model is worthy of replication as a continuous professional development effort for teachers in various regions.

Abstract

Permainan tradisional banyak sekali memberi manfaat dalam dunia pendidikan antara lain dapat memberikan berbagai macam stimulus pada anak untuk mengoptimalkan seluruh aspek pengembangan terutama dalam mengembangakan kemampuan motoriknya. Dalam melakukan permainan tradisional khususnya permainan egrang batok kelapa peserta didik harus dapat menjaga keseimbangan tubuh dan memiliki kekuatan dan kecepatan dalam berjalan untuk memainkan alat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis seberapa besar hubungan tinggi badan dan berat badan dengan kecepatan berjalan menggunakan permainan tradisional egrang batok kelapa pada mahasiswa semester IV Prodi Piaud FTK UIN Mataram. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif non eksperimen dengn sampel penelitiannya ialah mahasiswa semester IV Prodi Piaud FTK UIN Mataram Tahun Akademik 2021/2022 yang berjumlah berjumlah 32 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan tes perbuatan. Instrument penelitian menggunakan Instrumen pengukur tinggi badan,  Instrumen pengukur berat badan dan Tes Kecepatan Berjalan seedangkan data dianalsiis menggunakan Uji Prasyarat dan  Uji Hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; 1) Tinggi badan dan berat badan dengan kecepatan berjalan menggunakan egrang batok kelapa memiliki hubungan yang signifikan secara simultan. 2) Tinggi badan dan berat badan memiliki kekuatan hubungan dengan kecepatan berjalan.

Abstract

Physical condition, including body mass index (BMI) and leg muscle strength, is a key factor influencing athletic performance, particularly in volleyball. This study aimed to examine the relationship between BMI and leg muscle strength with maximal oxygen uptake (VO₂ max) in volleyball athletes. A non-experimental quantitative correlational design was applied with a total sample of 30 university volleyball players. Data were collected using standardized measurements of BMI, leg muscle strength, and the multistage fitness test (MFT) to estimate VO₂ max. Normality and linearity tests were conducted before correlation analysis. Results showed an average BMI of 21.69, leg muscle strength of 70.27, and VO₂ max of 32.16. Multiple correlation analysis indicated a significant relationship between BMI and leg muscle strength with VO₂ max (Sig. F change = 0.003 < 0.05, R = 0.597, R² = 0.356). These findings suggest that optimal BMI and strong lower limb muscles jointly support aerobic capacity in volleyball athletes, providing evidence for targeted physical training programs that enhance both fitness and performance.

Abstract

 Instilling religious character values through the habituation of Dhuha prayer activities in children aged 5-6 years at Permata Hati Kindergarten, Islamic Preschool, Mataram. Dhuha prayer was chosen as a medium because it is believed to develop spiritual values, discipline, responsibility, and obedience in early childhood. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a field research type. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used an interactive model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Data validity was assessed through diligent observation, source triangulation, technical triangulation, and the adequacy of references. The results of the study indicate that: (1) the instillation of religious character values is carried out through three main strategies, namely: (a) religious education is not only delivered formally but through habituation; (b) providing opportunities for students to express themselves through demonstrations and exercises; (c) creating a religious situation by explaining commands and prohibitions as well as rewards and punishments in a simple manner. (2) The religious character of children that is formed includes: believing in and obeying God, discipline, patience, self-confidence and independence, and honesty, which is reflected in daily behavior. (3) Supporting factors include parental support and adequate facilities, while inhibiting factors are schedule conflicts with extracurricular activities. outing class, and meetings that use the hall.
