Abstract

Large Language Models (LLMs) are advanced artificial intelligence systems that use deep learning, particularly transformer architectures, to process and generate text. One such model, Mistral 7b, featuring 7 billion parameters, is optimized for high performance and efficiency in natural language processing tasks. It outperforms similar models, such as LLaMa2 7b and LLaMa 1, across various benchmarks, especially in reasoning, mathematics, and coding. LLMs have also demonstrated significant advancements in addressing medical queries. This research leverages Indonesia’s rich biodiversity, which includes approximately 9,600 medicinal plant species out of the 30,000 known species. The study is motivated by the observation that LLMs, like ChatGPT and Gemini, often rely on internet data of uncertain validity and frequently provide generic answers without mentioning specific herbal plants found in Indonesia. To address this, the dataset for pre-training the model is derived from academic journals focusing on Indonesian medicinal herbal plants. The research process involves collecting these journals, preprocessing them using Langchain, embedding models with sentence transformers, and employing Faiss CPU for efficient searching and similarity matching. Subsequently, the Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) process is applied to Mistral 7b, allowing it to provide accurate, dataset-driven responses to user queries. The model's performance is evaluated using both human evaluation and ROUGE metrics, which assess recall, precision, F1 measure, and METEOR scores. The results show that the RAG Mistral 7b model achieved a METEOR score of 0.22%, outperforming the LLaMa2 7b model, which scored 0.14%.

Abstract

The laboratory is a closed room or open room as a place for conducting experiments and research. One understanding when laboratory research is important to master is the management of samples, especially wet samples. One sample sample that requires special handling is a sample of pig. The management of samples, especially samples of unclean ingredients, do not yet have clear references so that they become a big dilemma and become uneasy with Muslims if they are not managed properly. The method used in writing this article is literature study, discussion and study. The results include laboratory layout, organizing laboratory management, and retrieval techniques as well as handling laboratory pig samples. In general, handling pig samples on a laboratory scale must be done with extra caution, detail, and aseptism

Abstract

Halal is a term of lawful or permitted to do according to Islamic law which regulates all aspects of life especially in consuming food. Halal critical point is a condition of food processing. Halal food has a possibility transformed into haram if there are non-halal ingredients used during the food processing. The concept of Halalan Tayyiban is not widely understood by the Muslim, although it is necessary for all human according to health and hygiene. This research was a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The interview and observation to 8 informants were carried out to the seller of sausages (chicken and beef), cilok, burger, bump and three types of meatballs. The results of the halal condition analysis of processed meat-based foods which is supported by the results of observations and interviews directly pursed into two main important discussions, namely in terms of the composition and processing of processed meat-based food.

Abstract

Transplantation is a process of transferring organs that are still functioning properly to replace organs that are no longer functioning. However, due to the limited number of organs for transplantation, interspecies transplants are performed, namely transplants between animals and humans called Xenotransplantation. Xenotransplantation is a technique of transplanting animal organs or tissues into human organs or tissues that can no longer function. Xenotransplantation can be one way to overcome the availability of transplant organs for humans. The most potential animal that can be used is the pig because it is almost similar to humans. However, xenotransplantation still causes problems due to immune rejection in the donor and the risk of transmission of infection. The purpose of writing this review article is to find out the potential, risks, and religious perspectives regarding xenotransplantation carried out in the health world. The method used in the preparation of this article is a literature study conducted by reviewing several journals, books and research articles related to xenotransplantation. To overcome the problems caused by xenotransplantation, genetic engineering is carried out in animals in order to produce more compatible organs. Thus, there are several successful organ xenotransplantation experiments although they still require further development. Ethically and legally, xenotransplantation is allowed as long as it is not abused and can save the patient. With the development of biotechnology, xenotransplantation is expected to be an alternative solution that can be used to overcome the scarcity of transplant organs in the future. So the use of xenotransplantation can potentially be an alternative solution that can be used to overcome the scarcity of transplant organs for humans. The risks resulting from the process can be reduced with further research to create animal organs that are suitable for the human body. In the perspective of Islam, xenotransplantation is allowed if it is done to save lives and not to abuse the animal.
