Abstract

Finding out whether the Village Fund in Oyah Kiri Village encourages community empowerment and impacts the development of village infrastructure is the goal of this study. Interviews, participant observation, document analysis, and literature reviews are all part of the data gathering process in this qualitative descriptive research.The findings indicate that Oyah Kiri Village covers an area of 2,960 hectares, characterized by hilly terrain, highlands, rivers, and wetlands that serve as agricultural land. The climate in Oyah Kiri is tropical. Most residents engage in farming, fishing, and various jobs. The village has a population of 833 individuals, consisting of 187 family units (KK), divided into six Neighborhood Associations (RT). The demographic breakdown shows 406 males and 427 females, with religious affiliations comprising 179 Muslims, 211 Christians, and 443 Catholics. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melatih pelaku UMKM dalam strategi pemasaran konten sebagai sarana untuk mempromosikan usaha mereka. Pemasaran konten dianggap krusial dalam meningkatkan kesadaran akan merek atau produk di kalangan konsumen dengan cara menyajikan konten yang relevan dan berkualitas. Dua UMKM yang terlibat dalam kegiatan ini adalah UMKM Peyek Kacang Broll Gurih Renyah Nikmat Lancar dan UMKM PT Mitha Azzahra Abadi, yang bergerak dalam industri kreatif olahan keripik ketela dengan berbagai varian rasa. Melalui metode pengabdian ini, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap pemasaran konten mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Namun, disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar pelaku UMKM masih perlu meningkatkan praktik pemasaran konten mereka untuk mencapai potensi penuh dalam memperkenalkan dan memposisikan merek mereka di pasar yang lebih luas. Oleh karena itu, pengabdian ini memberikan panduan dan rekomendasi bagi UMKM untuk lebih memanfaatkan strategi pemasaran konten secara efektif guna mendukung pertumbuhan usaha mereka di era digital saat ini.

Abstract

The community service activity through the student internship program aimed to optimize digital marketing by providing training on social media content creation for the MSME Warmindo SR in Yogyakarta. The main problem faced by the partner was the lack of understanding and skills in producing attractive and consistent social media content as a means of promotion. The implementation methods included initial observation, training on digital content creation (photos, videos, and promotional captions), and one month of mentoring in applying digital marketing strategies. The results of the activity showed an improvement in the partner’s ability to produce engaging promotional content and an increase in consumer interaction through social media. In addition, Warmindo SR’s sales turnover increased after consistently implementing digital promotions. This activity had a positive impact on enhancing the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in the digital era.
