Abstract

In ASEAN 5 countries namely Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines and Malaysia have almost the same culture, in terms of social and economic aspects, the 5 countries have links between one country and another, so it is possible that the flow of foreign investment has a close relationship with economic growth. This study aims to determine the relationship between Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Economic Growth in ASEAN 5 Periods 1986-2017. This research is a two-way relationship research between the independent variable and the dependent variable that are reciprocal. The type of data used is the 1986-2017 time series data. Sources of data obtained from the World Bank. Data analysis technique uses Granger Causality analysis to see the 2-way relationship, and VAR (Vector Auto Regression) analysis by looking at the implus response factor for non-stationary data using VECM (Vector Error Correction Model) analysis. The results of the study state that based on the Granger Causality test there is no relationship between FDI and GDP and vice versa between GDP and FDI. Based on the VECM test there is a relationship between FDI and GDP.

Abstract

Economic growth and international trade are related to one another. International trade stimulates long-term economic growth. The more trade activities in a country, the more rapid economic growth; this trade is a key component of development in a country, its contribution is felt with the increasing economic growth in several countries. The purpose of this study looks at the impact of trade openness on economic growth in Indonesia in 1986-2017. This research is a quantitative study using time series data from 1986-2017, research data obtained from the world bank, data analysis techniques using the GMM method to see the impact of trade openness on economic growth. The test results using the Generalized Method of Moments analysis method show that all variables significantly influence the dynamics of economic growth in Indonesia. This result is proven by the t-statistic probability value, which shows a smaller value compared to the t-table value. Then the value also has a probability of less than α. It can be concluded that the variables of trade, FDI, inflation, and the number of workers have a significant effect on economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study purpose to determine the influency of product quality, price, promotion and quality of service of partially and simultaneously on the consumer decision making process in choosing a coffee shop in Lumajang Regency. This research type is descriptive with a causal associative approach. This research using 100 respondents. The sampling technique used is Simple Random Sampling. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression analysis for hypotheses through the SPSS 21 for windows program. Results of the study showed that product quality, promotion and service quality there is a significant positive influency for partially on the decision making process of consumers in choosing a coffee shop in Lumajang Regency. The price of a positive influence is not significant to the consumer's decision making process in choosing a coffee shop in Lumajang Regency. Simultaneously product quality, price, promotion and service quality have a significant positive effect on the decision making process of consumers in choosing a coffee shop in Lumajang Regency. The variables studied affected 54.1% of the consumer decision making process in choosing a coffee shop in Lumajang Regency and the rest was influenced by another variables.

Abstract

This activity aims to develop product and marketing innovation in ladrang pastry business group in karangsono village sub district bangsalsari jember district so that the product has high competitiveness. The method of community service activity has several stages: (1) Survey: The survey activity will be conducted to see the business condition of the partner, (2) Interview: The purpose of the interview is to explore information related to the problems of the partner and also to find the solution, (3) packaging and product taste variance: The packaging innovation practice is assisted by lecturers by designing more attractive and unique packaging, while the taste variances are accompanied by lecturers, (4) Monitoring and evaluation: Monitoring and evaluation activities will be conducted periodically until partners can produce innovative products so that the target and outcome of this program can be achieved. The Target of Community Service Activities of this cake ladrang business group in Karangsono Village, Jember Regency are: (1) Market expansion, not only marketing in local village stalls but in nearby areas such as Lumajang. (2) Improvement of product quality both taste and packaging innovation.

Abstract

The Financial Services Authority assesses the national banking industry in the better shape shown by some indicators, one of which the involvement of the Government in realizing economic growth. With the better banking conditions will marimbas Bank on growth Of Islamic Peoples. This research aims to know the level of health of bank Syariah BPR in East Java by using methods of Risk-Based Bank Rating. The assessment by the method of Risk-Based Bank Rating consists of four factors of risk profile, Good Corporate Governance, earning and capital of each bank. This research uses descriptive method quantitative approach to analyze the ratio-the ratio of the measured. The data type used is the time series data of the year 2015 – 2017. Source data obtained from the Financial Services Authority website (OJK). Data analysis techniques using analysis of Risk-Based Bank Rating (RBBR) consist of four-factor risk profile, Good Corporate Governance, earning and capital. The study concluded that the overall average value of NPF Bank Of Islamic People (BPRS) of 13.37% unhealthy, with an average overall rating Of Sharia Rural Banks ROA (BPRS) of 0.11% with the predicate less healthy and that the average overall rating Of Sharia Rural Banks CAR (BPRS) amounted to 28.47% with very healthy.

Abstract

This activity aims to assist product packaging innovation, innovate flavors and product variances, and provide marketing assistance. The approach offered for solving partner problems consists of surveys, interviews, practice, monitoring and evaluation. The product innovation and marketing assistance that has been proposed has succeeded in making soy milk packaging more attractive and varied, while the innovation in the taste of soy milk also makes the product taste different from before, marketing assistance makes partners more competitive and can expand the market This activity is fully supported by the soy milk business group, because it succeeded in providing new ideas in terms of providing packaging design, flavor variance innovation and product marketing.

Abstract

The importance of intellectual capital aspects for companies makes this topic interesting to be researched today, especially related to the contribution of IC in encouraging company performance. Profitability is an appropriate benchmark in measuring the performance of a bank. One measure of profitability used is Return on Equity (ROE). ROE is used to measure the effectiveness of a company in generating profits by utilizing the equity it has. This study aims to determine the Impression of Intellectual Capital and Risk Profile on Profitability of BPR Syariah in East Java Province. This type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population used in this study were all Sharia Rural Banks (BPRS) of East Java Province which were recorded in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the selected period of 2015-2018 with a total population of 26 banks. The sample in this study was selected by purposive sampling. This study concludes that the NPF ratio has no effect on ROE. Except for Intellectual Capital and FDR it has a significant influence on ROE.

Abstract

IC is considered a strategic aspect that is able to lead the company to gain and maintain a sustainable competitive advantage, therefore the measurement of intellectual capital performance allows the company to monitor which parts need to be improved in the IC aspect, with the aim of the company being able to generate greater profits in the future. This study aims to determine the effect of Intellectual Capital, Profit Sharing Ratio, Zakat Performance Ratio and Equitable Distribution Ratio on Profitability at BPR Syariah East Java Province. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population used in this study were all Sharia Rural Banks (BPRS) of East Java Province which were recorded in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) for the selected period 2015-2018 with a population of 26 banks. The sample in this study was 15 banks which were selected by purposive sampling. This study concludes that the ratio of Profit Sharing Ratio and Equitable Distribution Ratio has no effect on profitability. Except Intellectual Capital and Zakat Performance Ratio have a significant effect on ROE.

Abstract

Return Stockis the reciprocal result of stock investment activities that will be received by investors. Before investing in stocks, investors must analyze the company from a financial and non-financial perspective. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of good corporate governance, leverage, and profitability on returns stockin manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2017 to 2019. The data needed in this study is secondary data in the form of annual reports of manufacturing companies. published by the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2017 to 2019 through the website www.idx.co.id. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The technique of data analysis uses multiple linear regression analysis which is processed with the SPSS application. The results of the analysis of this study indicate that 1) good corporate governance (CGPI scoring) has no significant effect on stock returns, 2) leverage (Debt to Equity Ratio) has no significant effect on returns stock, 3) Profitability (Return on Equity) has a significant effect on return.

Abstract

The superior product of Aren Handicraft is a product made from water hyacinth which has not been commercialized in the market and is not well known by the public, therefore this product needs to carry out product commercialization with innovation and promotion. The objectives of this activity are: online promotional assistance through social media and e-commerce and product innovation assistance, through the creation of unique and attractive new products. The approach methods offered to solve partner problems consist of surveys, interviews, online promotion assistance, product innovation assistance, monitoring and evaluation. Based on the results of the PKM implementation, several informants said that the product was quite interesting because there were not many businesses that could make handicrafts made from water hyacinth. The business capital is IDR 5,000,000. The price of the product depends on the type of product, baskets of water hyacinth are priced at 55,000-65,000 while palcemates cost 24,000-30,000. The marketing area for water hyacinth products is the local area of Jember, namely the area around the sub-districts of Bangsalsari, Umbulsari, Balung, Puger and its surroundings. The scope of online marketing covers all regions of Indonesia. Promotion through online media such as Instagram, TikTok, website and marketplace Shopee, Bukalapak. The form of product innovation from Aren Handicraft varies from new product innovations such as tissue holders and several products to photo props and hampers.
