Abstract

Technology literacy is the capacity to operate, manage, assess and realize the technology is. This study aims to determine an empirical description of the level of technological literacy owned by counselor/counseling teacher in Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research methods.The data collection was worked out using by technology literacy instruments by taking a sample from 157 junior high school with counseling teachers around DKI Jakarta. The results of the research related to the level of technological literacy showed that 61.14% of counseling teachers were in the top categories, which iz 35.03% in the sufficient category and 3.82% in the low and very low categories.

Abstract

Most English teachers teach students that the discussions to be taught are not so detailed that most students do not fully understand what the teacher is teaching. There are also teachers who give only assignments at the beginning of the lesson without explained the material that will be taught beforehand. So many students are overwhelmed and don't understand learning. In this situation, the study finds out how teachers feel about English language proficiency and their teaching effectiveness in English lessons. The study used a qualitative approach with semi-structured interview. The study was conducted at one of the Junior High School in Garut, West Java. It collected data from a Junior High School teacher. Furthermore, the study found that the relationship between English language proficiency and teaching effectiveness is that if a teacher had mastered English correctly and if a teacher had applied the right way of learning, especially in English study will be certainly improve student skills. The teacher will be very easy to present to the children and will make effective teaching in the classroom

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar merupakan salah satu program pemerintah dalam rangka mendukung implementasi Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Kegiatan kampus mengajar berperan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan literasi, numerasi, dan adaptasi teknologi peserta didik di SM Negeri 46 Palembang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dampak dari kegiatan kampus mengajar terhadap keterampilan literasi, numerasi, dan adaptasi teknologi peserta didik di SMP Negeri 46 Palembang. Metode pelaksanaan yang diterapkan adalah studi kasus di SMP Negeri 46 Palembang di daerah perkotaan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya kolaborasi antara perguruan tinggi dan Sekolah Menengah Pertama dalam pengembangan program kampus mengajar untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi, numerasi, adaptasi teknologi peserta didik.

Abstract

Stress has become one of the issues that draw considerable attention. While it does not cause health problems, it may affect individuals’ physical and psychological health.   This study attempted to see university students’ academic stress level differences in terms of gender. This descriptive comparative study involved 466 university students (346 female students, 120 male students) recruited as respondents using convenience sampling. An academic stress scale comprising three indicators, i.e., physical, emotional, and behavioral responses, was used to collect data. The data were analyzed using t-test, combined with RASCH stacking model. The result indicated that university students’ academic stress did not significantly differ in gender. This result could be used as a reference for developing a guidance and counseling service to handle university students’ academic stress, which could be preventive, development, and curative.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar adalah bagian dari program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka, memberikan kesempatan mahasiswa untuk membantu guru di SMK YP Gajah Mada Palembang selama satu semester, dari Agustus hingga November 2023. Ruang lingkupnya mencakup inovasi pembelajaran di semua mata pelajaran, fokus pada literasi dan numerasi.Program ini memiliki dampak positif, bertujuan meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan melalui implementasi program dan kegiatan mahasiswa. Selama kegiatan ini, siswa mengalami peningkatan hasil AKM (Assesment Kompetensi Minimum) sebagai dasar evaluasi program. Mahasiswa turut mengasah jiwa kepemimpinan dan karakter, serta mendapatkan pengalaman mengajar, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri, meningkatkan relasi dengan Kerjasama dengan guru di sekolah juga membantu penyelenggaraan pembelajaran setiap harinya. Program ini juga mendukung sekolah dalam peningkatan efektivitas proses pembelajaran, adaptasi teknologi, dan administrasi sekolah.
