Terkait perkembangan tersebut dapat di indikasi dalam penerapan implementasi fintech di Indonesia. Berdasarkan latar belakang, maka analisa permasalahan dirumuskan dalam bentuk pertanyaan berikut : Pertama, bagaimana konsep Fatwa DSN-MUI No: 117/DSN-MUI/II/2018 Tentang Layanan Pembiayaan Berbasis Teknologi Informasi Berdasarkan Prinsip Syariah. Kedua, bagaimana implementasi produk Peer to peer lending (P2PL) di PT. Investree. Dan Ketiga, bagaimana tinjauan Fatwa DSN-MUI No: 117/DSN-MUI/II/2018 Tentang Layanan Pembiayaan Berbasis Teknologi Informasi Berdasarkan Prinsip Syariah terhadap P2PL di PT. Investree. Investree adalah sebuah perusahaan  fintech, yang menyediakan layanan perantara untuk proses peer to peer lending. Investree tidak turun langsung dalam aktivitas pinjam meminjam. Abstract

Purpose — The paper highlights two different opinions among scholars regarding the permissibility of cryptocurrency and explores the factors that contribute to these opinions. Additionally, the article discusses the potential risks associated with cryptocurrency, such as the lack of intrinsic value and the potential for use in illegal activities. Overall, the article seeks to provide insights into the Shariah perspective on cryptocurrency and its potential impact on the financial industry.Method — In conducting a SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis on cryptocurrency, the author gathered data from previous studies, literature in English, Indonesian, and Arabic. Then, the data collected through the SWOT analysis was analyzed using the principles of mashlahah and mafsadah and the principles of maqasid al-shariah. The appropriate method for analyzing data in this study is secondary data analysis.Result — Cryptocurrency is an innovation that has never happened before, especially in the financial world. Cryptocurrency brings many benefits but also brings losses, as evidenced by the weakness of the system and external activities. Based on the SWOT analysis, it appears that the losses or mafsadah tend to be more than the mashlahah, meaning that problems and conflicts will arise if cryptocurrency is used as the official currency of a country.Contribution — The paper makes an important academic contribution by using the Islamic concept of Maqashid al-Sharia, specifically the analysis of mashlahah (benefits) and mafsadah (harms), to evaluate the potential use of cryptocurrencies as national currencies.

Abstract

Business in the world of Cryptocurrency can be done in various ways, starting from coin mining (crypto mining), physical trading of crypto assets, long-term investment, crypto trading, crypto business consulting services, and so on. Because of the many business opportunities in the crypto world, the author needs to choose a crypto business that meets the criteria for a safe investment. The problem of this research is to identify and analyze factors that influence cryptocurrency investments' security and profit potential through a weighted SWOT approach. This research aims to analyze the use of weighting in a SWOT analysis of Cryptocurrency as an investment asset. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. This research was carried out by theoretically studying Cryptocurrency's development through documents and the cryptocurrency market. Researchers explore information obtained from expert sources through interviews. The research results show that Cryptocurrency as an investment asset has the advantage of high return potential, with a weight of 5, making it an attractive choice for investors. However, the lack of regulatory oversight and limited market liquidity are significant weaknesses, with weights of 4 and 3, respectively. The novelty of this study lies in the weighting approach in SWOT analysis, which provides a quantitative assessment of the factors influencing cryptocurrency investment. In addition, this research reveals that cryptocurrency investment from a global business perspective has yet to be widely implemented in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of Social Media Marketing Activities (SMMA) on Brand Equity in Islamic banking with Word of Mouth (WOM) as a mediating variable. In the Islamic banking sector, SMMA plays an important role in building consumer image and trust. The study uses a quantitative approach with a survey of respondents who are users of Islamic banking services exposed to social media activities. Data analysis was conducted using linear regression models, path analysis, and Sobel tests to assess the direct and indirect impact of SMMA on Brand Equity through WOM as mediation. The results show that SMMA has a positive and significant impact on WOM, which in turn enhances Brand Equity. However, WOM does not fully mediate the relationship between SMMA and Brand Equity. Simultaneously, SMMA and WOM contribute 67.6% to Brand Equity, with the remaining percentage influenced by other variables not examined. The findings indicate that effective social media marketing strategies, supported by positive WOM, can strengthen the Brand Equity of Islamic banking. This research is expected to provide insights for Islamic banking managers to optimize social media in building consumer loyalty and positive perception.
