Abstract

Background: Dynamic balance is the maintenance of body equilibrium when the body is moving. Balance disorder is a common problem found among the elderly people. Problems that would arise from a balance disorder is an increased risk of falls among the elderly people. The purpose of : was to know the effect of ankle strategy exercise and core stability exercise on dynamic balance in elderly. Methods :is pre experimental using one group pre-test and post test. The population in this study is all elderly people in Posyandu lansia Pasar Baru Padang Panjang year 2018 which amounted to 72 elderly. Sampling in research using purposive sampling technique so that got sample as much 16 person elderly. The data collection used the Time up and Go test observation sheets measured before and after therapy. Result :the average time that was needed to do TUG test before intervention was 25,25 seconds and after intervention was 11,18 seconds. Based on wilcoxon test, p= 0,000 (p<0,05) it means that there are differentiation in dynamical balance for the elder before and after the exercise. Conclusion : Ankle Strategy Exercise and Core Stability Exercise can improve the dynamic balance of elderly this is evidenced by the decrease of time decrease time required in performing motion balance test using TUG test Key words : Elderly, ankle startegy exercise, core stability exercise, dynamic balance

Abstract

ABSTRACT : people, which is certain to continue to increase by 3 times in 2050. Overweight and underweight seniors have a high risk of falling with the same percentage, it can be explained that what affects the risk of falling is caused by the stability of the elderly posture, 60 elderlies with kyphosis posture 85% have poor static balance. The type of this study was cross sectional approach. The population was all elderly people at 60-69 years old. They were 62 people who were in Healthy Elderly Posbindu Kunci Limukan Worship. The results obtained from 62 respondents, 26 (41.9%) who experienced neutral and 14 (22.6%) and hyperkyphosis, namely 22 (35.5%), namely20 (32.3%) who had normal BMI, obesity as many as 18 respondents (29.0%) and 26 (41.9%) respondents who had a moderate fall risk, 16 respondents (25.8%). The results of statistical tests obtained p value <0.001 it can be concluded that there is a relationship between hyperkyphosis and the risk of falling in the elderly and with a p value of 0.000 that there is a relationship between BMI and the risk of falling in the elderly. It is suggested to community health center to carry out positive activities for the elderly such as elderly gymnastics to maintain the health of the elderly and provide health education about good nutrition for the elderly. Keywords: Hyperkyphosis, BMI, Fall Risk  ABSTRAK : Menurut WHO di kawasan Asia tenggara yang diatas umur 60 tahun berjumlah 142 juta orang yang mana dipastikan akan terus meningkat sampai 3  kali lipat ditahun 2050.  Lansia overweight dan underweight memiliki resiko jatuh tinggi dengan presentase yang sama ini dapat dijelaskan bahwa yang mempengaruhi resiko jatuh lebih disebabkan oleh kestabilan postur lansia, 60 lansia dengan postur kifosis 85% memiliki keseimbangan statis yang buruk Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh lansia usia 60-69 tahun sebanyak 62 orang yang berada di Posbindu Lansia Sehat Kunci Ibadah Limbukan. Hasil penelitian didapatkan dari 62 responden yaitu 26 (41,9%) yang mengalami netral dan Hypokifosis yaitu 14 (22,6%) dan hyperkifosis yaitu 22 (35.5%), yaitu   20 (32,3%)   yang memiliki BMI normal, obesitas sebanyak 18 responden (29,0%) dan  26 (41,9%)   responden yang memiliki resiko jatuh sedang, resiko jatuh tinggi sebanyak 16 responden (25,8%).  Hasil uji statistik diperoleh diperoleh nilai p<0,001 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara hyperkifosis dengan resiko jatuh pada lansia dan dengan nilai p value 0,000 bahwa terdapat hubungan antara BMI dengan resiko jatuh pada lansia. Disarankan kepada puskesmas untuk dapat melaksanakan kegiatan yang positif kepada lansia seperti senam lansia  untuk menjaga kesehatan para lansia serta memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang gizi yang baik bagi lansia Kata Kunci       : Hyperkifosis, BMI, Resiko Jatuh

Abstract

Explosive power in sports is a component that must be possessed in some sports, because this is related to the results of all work instructions carried out by individuals and groups. Explosive power can be increased with regular and systematic training. Alternative Leg Bound training functions to increase muscle explosive power so that athletes have high explosive power in carrying out their activities. This study aims to determine the effect of giving Alternative Leg Bound on the explosive power of muscle spasms in sepak takraw players in Kamang in 2023. The sample collection technique used purposive sampling. This research was carried out with a youth population of 20 people, with a sample of 10 people. Muscle explosive power is measured using a vertical jump. The results of research on giving Alternative Leg Bound showed that the average explosive power of muscle spasms before the intervention was 32.30 after giving the intervention to 42.00 and the effect test showed p= 0.000, meaning that there was an increase in muscle explosive power in sepak takraw players with the administration of Alternate Leg Bound. Keywords : Alternate Leg Bound, Muscular Explosive Power, Sepak Takraw

Abstract

ABSTRACKChildren with autism not only have communication and social difficulties but also show poor balance and motor control abilities that can affect daily activities, besides that, postural instability is closely related to balance disorders. Effective balance and motor control will depend on somatosensory, visual and vestibular input. The type of research used is quasi-experimental with a one group pre-post test approach. Sampling by purposive sampling with a sample of 10 respondents. Obstacle course training was given for 12 interventions for 2 weeks. The dynamic balance results before and after giving Obstacle course Exercise were 16.94 seconds and 13.64 seconds. The effect test results obtained p = 0.005 <α (0.05). From the results of the study it can be concluded that the Obstacle course Exercise has an effect on increasing the dynamic balance of children with autism.Keywords: Obstacle course Exercise, dynamic balance, autism

Abstract

Abstract : Dynamic balance is the ability of people to move from one point or space to another by maintaining balance. Balance is a complex interaction of sensory systems (vestibular, visual, and somatosensory including propioceptors) and musculoskeletal (muscles, joints and other soft tissues) that are modified or regulated in the brain in response to changes in external and internal conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine The Effect of Gaze Stability Exercise and Thai Chi Gymnastics on Elderly Women on Increasing Dynamic Balance at JorongSimpang AA in 2020. It was Quasi-experimental design by using two groups pre and posttest design. The population was 20 respondents in 2020. By using purposive sampling technique, 10 samples were obtained. The data was collected by measuring before and after the intervention. The data was analyzed by computerization by using the Mann Whitney test. The results showed that the average dynamic balance of elderly women after giving Thai Chi Gymnastics was 30.6 and the average dynamic balance of elderly women after giving Gaze Stability Exercise and Thai Chi Gymnastics was 33.4. The results of statistical analysis showed that there were significant differences for the two groups with P value of 0.005 after 10 interventions. It can be concluded that giving Gaze Stability Exercise and Thai Gymnastics has an effect on increasing dynamic balance in elderly women in Jorong Simpang AA with an age range of 60-74 years.  ABSTRAK : Keseimbangan dinamis adalah kemampuan orang untuk bergerak dari satu titik atau ruang ke lain titik dengan mempertahankan keseimbangan. Keseimbangan merupakan interaksi yang kompleks dan integrasi atau interaksi sistem sensorik dan muskuloskeletal (otot, sendi dan jaringan lunak lain) yang dimodifikasi atau di atur dalam otak sebagai respon terhadap perubahan kondisi ekternal dan internal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Gaze Stability Exercise dan senam Thai Chi pada lansia perempuan terhadap peningkatan keseimbangan dinamis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi-eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan one group pre dan post test design. Pengambilan sempel pada penelitian menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling sehingga didapatkan sempel sebanyak 10 orang. Pengumpulan data dengan cara perlakuan yang di ukur sebelum dan sesudah pemberian intervensi. Pengolahan data hasil penelitian dilakukan secara komputerasi menggunakan uji Mann Whitney.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Rata-rata keseimbangan dinamis lansia perempuan setelah pemberian Gaze Stability Exercise Dan Senam Thai Chi adalah 33,4. Hasil analisis statistic menujukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan dengan Hasil P Value sebesar 0,005. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian Gaze Stability Exercise Dan Senam Thai berpengaruh untuk meningkatkan keseimbangan dinamis pada lansia perempuan di Jorong Simpang AA dengan rentang usia 60-74 tahun.Kata Kunci  : Keseimbangan Dinamis, Gaze Stability Exercise, Senam Thai Chi

Abstract

ABSTRACTPower is a movement ability that is very important to support activities in every branch of sport. This power or explosive ability will determine good movement results. Power concerns the strength and speed of dynamic and explosive muscle contractions and involves the maximum expenditure of muscle strength in the shortest possible time. This study aims to determine the effect of push up and pull up exercises on increasing arm muscle power in volleyball players. This type of research is quantitative which uses a quasi-experimental research design. The sample collection technique uses the purposive sampling method. This type of research is a quasi experimental one group pre-post test design, this research was carried out 12 times with 1 rest per exercise for 10 samples. Increased arm muscle power is measured by performing a Service Test. The research results from giving push up and pull up exercises showed that the average arm muscle power before the intervention was 15.30 and after the intervention it increased to 19.90. The P value <a= (0.000) means that there is an influence on increasing arm muscle power. From the research results, it can be concluded that there is an influence before and after giving push up and pull up exercises on increasing arm muscle power in volleyball players.References: 27 (2011-2023)Keywords: Power, Push Up, Pull Up

Abstract

As they get older, the elderly will experience a decline in several body functions, one of which is cognitive function. As the center of thinking power, the brain also requires care, namely by carrying out simple movements followed by various components of brain function such as vision, imagination, hearing and emotions. This can be done by doing a brain vitalization gym. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the brain vitalitation gym in improving the cognitive function of the elderly. The design of this research is Quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest one group design approach. The population in this study was all elderly people at the Biaro Community Health Center totaling 318 people, the sample in this study was 10 elderly people. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. Cognitive function was measured using the MMSE (Mini-Mental State Examination). The results showed that the average cognitive function before the brain vitalization gym intervention was 16.20 and after the intervention it was 23.10. Abstract

ABSTRACT             The World Health Organization (WHO) stated that there are hundreds of millions of people whose lives are disrupted due to musculoskeletal disorders. The biomechanics and musculoskeletal system of the foot is greatly influenced by the arch of the foot. Abnormalities in the lower extremities often occur in children, so they can cause balance disorders which will affect walking speed. This study aims to look at the relationship between arch, BMI and foot posture on walking speed. This type of research is descriptive analytical. This research uses a total sampling technique with the entire population as a sample of 59 people. The research results showed that the variables related to walking speed were the archus pedis (p-value = 0.000), body mass index (p-value = 0.027), foot posture (p-value = 0.000). It was concluded that there was a relationship between the arch, BMI and foot posture on walking speed in children aged 10-12 years. Keywords        : Arkus Pedis, BMI, Foot Posture, Walking Speed ABSTRAK            World Health Organization (WHO) memberikan pernyataan bahwa terdapat ratusan juta orang terganggu kehidupan akibat gangguan musculoskeletal. Biomekanik dan musculoskeletal pada kaki sangat dipengaruhi oleh arkus kaki atau lengkungan kaki. Kelainan pada ekstremitas bawah sering terjadi pada anak-anak, sehingga dapat menyebabkan gangguan keseimbangan yang akan mempengaruhi kecepatan dalam berjalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan arkus pedis, IMT dan foot posture terhadap kecepatan berjalan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitik, Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling dengan seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel sebanyak 59 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel yang berhubungan dengan kecepatan berjalan adalah arkus pedis (p-value = 0.000), indeks massa tubuh (p-value = 0.027), foot posture (p-value = 0.000). Disimpulkan bahwa adanya hubungan arkus pedis, IMT dan foot posture terhadap kecepatan berjalan pada anak usia 10-12 tahun.Kata Kunci                : Arkus Pedis, IMT, Foot Posture, Kecepatan Berjalan
