Abstract

Rapid technological advances in information and communication technology have resulted in distance no longer a major problem in conducting business activities. Every individual and business actor is also carried away by the flow of having tools that can support their daily activities have been parts of the existence of technology. This study analyzes the effect of usability and risk perception in small and medium weaving enterprises (SMWE), which women manage, in using e-business, e.g., online shops, e-commerce, and marketplaces. We surveyed 43 SMWEs using questionnaires and interviews and selected the samples using the saturated sampling technique. Quantitative data was collected through a Likert scale and then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The study results show that usability positively affects the interest in using e-business in SMWEs. Meanwhile, the risk perception variable has a negative and significant direction. Usability makes it easier for individuals to understand and easy to get information in using e-business. The use of information systems can speed up work and provide flexibility in convenience. The risks faced by e-business users are transaction security and the uncertainty of the goods ordered. Perceived risk will hurt the individual’s intention to use the online store. This prediction arises based on logic if the higher risk on online transactions lacks necessary trust.

Abstract

Voice assistant technology is growing rapidly and its use has begun to spread to daily use. However, voice assistant usages are still limited to standard conversation languages. Meanwhile, Indonesian people are accustomed to informal language in daily conversation. This research gives solution to overcome the problem of voice assistants with informal words or words that will not be found in formal word dictionary. We propose text normalization using Levenshtein distance. Test result shows that normalization using Levenshtein distance outperform the normalization using Longest Common Subsequence (LCS) distance with accuracy difference of 8.34%.

Abstract

Analysis of personal motivation, use of digital information, and green tourism branding in Buleleng Regency is very important for the sustainability of the ecotourism villages that are starting to be developed. This research used a quantitative approach with a population of 16,521 people with respondent selection using purposive sampling to obtain 236 people. The primary data type was by giving questionnaires (Likert scale) to village heads, traditional Kelian, official Kelian, homestay owners, tourism awareness group (pokdarwis) heads, tourists, and village communities. All data was analyzed using WarpPLS 7.0. This research reveals that personal motivation, the use of digital information, and branding, influence the sustainability of ecotourism villages in Buleleng Regency. The results of this research are in line with the theory of planned behavior and attribution which explains individual motivation and the factors determining the success of a business, including technological support in the use of accounting information, while promotion is an external attribution. This research can provide information for the tourism village actors in Buleleng Regency regarding the promotion and management of tourism which should be in synergy with traditional villages and official villages. All community roles cannot be separated from collaboration between stakeholders who have a big responsibility in expanding the village towards independence.

Abstract

To generate a machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) architecture with good performance, we need a decent dataset for the training and testing phases of the development process. Starting with the knowledge discovery and data mining (KDD) Cup 99 dataset, numerous datasets have been produced since 1998 to be utilized in the ML and DL-based intrusion detection systems (IDS) training and testing process. Because there are so many datasets accessible, it might be challenging for researchers to choose which dataset to employ. Therefore, a framework for evaluating dataset appropriateness with the research to be conducted is becoming increasingly crucial as new datasets are regularly created. Additionally, given the growing popularity of internet of things (IoT) devices and an increasing number of specific datasets for IoT in recent years, it is essential to have a specific framework for IoT datasets. Therefore, this research aims to develop a new framework for evaluating IoT datasets for ML and DL-based IDS. The study's findings include, first, a novel framework for assessing IoT datasets, second, a comparison of this novel framework to other existing frameworks, and third, an analysis of five IoT datasets by using the new framework.

Abstract

The development of digital platforms has not fully reached tourist villages optimally, apart from the fact that their management still contains conflicts of interest between stakeholders. This research examines the role of community empowerment, implementation of sustainable village development programs, and implementation of digital platforms on the management and mobilization of economic resources. The research type is quantitative and the population consists of 8.402 people in Sudaji tourist village, Buleleng-Bali. A total of 110 people were used as samples (village heads, pokdarwis, traditional kelian, and the community) with a random sampling technique using the Slovin formula. Data collection uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results show that the community empowerment variable does not affect the mobilization of economic resources. In contrast, the sustainable development variable shows different results where it significantly positively impacts the mobilization of economic resources. Finally, the digital platform implementation variable does not affect the mobilization of economic resources. This research focuses on the interests of the community as stakeholders so that they can access economic resources optimally and have an impact so that they can empower them with their capacity to increase economic independence while meeting their basic needs so that they become resource literate with the digital world and sustainable villages can be realized.

Abstract

The implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in the product design phase plays a crucial role in modern industries. The product design phase with the design thinking approach produces an innovative product that meets user requirements. The product design process, which begins with capturing user requirements and culminating in a thorough specification of a finished product, requires extensive data and expertise. Iterative product design processes contribute to the complexity of the data that must be managed within an organization. This study involved the implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software named Odoo within the product design process using a design thinking methodology. By examining the student practicum activities in automotive design, starting from the user survey phase and going all the way to the component design details, a comprehensive ERP system was developed. This system is capable of seamlessly integrating all the data throughout the entire process. Based on the outcomes of testing and assessment, it can be concluded that the modules in Odoo software can be effectively integrated into the product design process. Effective processes in integrating ERP into product design phases can improve production quality and efficiency as well as facilitate greater flexibility and innovation. Implementing ERP throughout the product design phase results in a seamless flow of information, enhanced inventory control, and overall productivity enhancement. This ultimately leads to operational efficiency, competitive advantage, and high user satisfaction in the industry.
