Abstract

Covid-19 merupakan penyakit infeksi pernapasan akut yang disebabkan oleh corona virus strain severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2 yang dapat dengan mudah menyebar dan ditularkan melalui jalur pernapasan penderita terinfeksi. Gejala Covid-19 umumnya berupa demam 38°C, batuk kering, dan sesak nafas serta dampak paling buruk untuk manusia ialah kematian yang dapat disebabkan oleh adanya penyakit penyerta seperti hipertensi diabetes mellitus, jantung koroner dan penyakit serebrovaskula. Masyarakat di sekitar kampus STIKES Al-Irsyad Al- Islamiyyah Cilacap masih terlihat belum terbiasa menggunakan masker pada saat keluar rumah. Kurangnya Upaya preventif saat di luar rumah dengan membawa handsanitizer dikarenakan persediaan dan harga dipasaran yang melambung tinggi (mahal) sehingga masyarakat mengalami kendala pada saat membelinya. Tujuan dari pengabdian masayarakat ini adalah untuk menciptakan Gerakan Masyarakat Cerdas Menggunakan Hand Sanitizer Dan Masker Sebagai Upaya Preventif Terhadap Covid-19. Metode pangabdian yaitu berupa donasi masker dan handsanitizer serta pemberian informasi pemakaiannya secara lisan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah 120 orang sasaran sudah mendapatkan handsanitizer dan 120 orang mendapatkan masker diserati leaflet berkaitan dengan covid-19. Dengan demikian, masyarakat sekitar kampus dapat menggunakan masker dan perbekalan handsanitizer pada saat keluar rumah.

Abstract

Children under five years old is a golden period of physical, intellectual, mental and emotional growth of children. Several factors that influence growth and development are internal and external factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the growth and development of children under five years old in the area of Cilacap Coastal. The design used is an analytical survey with a cross sectional design. The sample size was 110 parents and children under five years old with cluster random sampling technique. Data analysis using chi square test. The results showed that there was a relationship between nutritional status, stimulation, parental income, and parental education with growth according to body weight (pv = 0.000; pv = 0.000; pv = 0.000 and 0.001). There was a relationship between nutritional status, stimulation and parental income with growth according to TB/U (pv=0.000; pv=0.003; pv=0.006). There was a significant relationship between nutritional status, stimulation, income and parental education with development (pv=0.000; pv=0.001; pv=0.000; pv=0.000). There was no relationship between parental education and the growth of TB/U (pv=0.089) and parenting with the growth of BB/U, TB/U and the development of children under five years old in the area of Cilacap Coastal (pv= 0.259; pv= 0.142; pv= 0.941).

Abstract

Child development can be influenced by postnatal factors such as stimulation mother, which plays an important role, in addition to factors nutritional status and chronic diseases in children. The existence of the COVID-19 pandemic risks increasing the child's pain rate. This study aims to determine the postnatal factors that influence and predominantly affect the development of children aged 12–60 months during the COVID-19 pandemic in the South Cilacap Region. The design used is survey-analytic, with a cross-sectional study. A large sample of 106 mothers and children aged 12–60 months with the cluster random sampling technique. Data was collected based on the results of interviews using a questionnaire via a Google Form link and and measuring child development using the SDIDTK application. Bivariate analysis used chi-square, while multivariate analysis used multiple logistic regression. The results showed that there is a significant influence of, maternal attitudes, knowledge about developmental stimulation and chronic diseases in children on the development of children aged 12–60 months during the COVID-19 pandemic in the South Cilacap Region (pv= 0,005; pv= 0,005; pv= 0,042). There is no influence of nutritional status factors on the development of children aged 12–60 months during the COVID-19 pandemic in the South Cilacap Region (pv= 0,385). The mother's attitude about developmental stimulation is the dominant factor that affects the development of children aged 12–60 months during the COVID-19 pandemic in the South Cilacap Region, Mothers who have a positive attitude towards development have a 69,249 times higher chance of having children with appropriate development compared children's chronic diseases and mothers' knowledge about stimulating children's development (pv= 0,005; α= 0,05; OR= 69,249). Mother's attitude about stimulation is important in child development. Education and knowledge can shape a mother's attitude so that more education is needed to achieve appropriate child development.
