Abstract

Abstrak: Faktor-faktor penyebab tekanan darah tinggi diantaranya umur, jenis kelamin, keturunan, merokok, asupan garam berlebih, konsumsi lemak, minyak goreng bekas, kebiasaan minum alkohol, berat badan berlebih,  aktivitas fisik kurang, stres dan penggunaan estrogen. Semua ini terkait dengan gaya hidup yang tidak sehat.  Faktor resiko tersebut dapat dihindari dengan melakukan upaya-upaya preventif diantaranya dengan menerapkan pola hidup sehat, seperti minum obat rutin dan kontrol tekanan darah. Melalui pengendalian gaya hidup sehat adalah satu modalitas penting untuk mengontrol penyakit hipertensi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kendalikan tekanan darah dengan menerapkan gaya hidup sehat di RW 11 Kelurahan Garut. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut adalah melakukan kegiatan pendidikan kesehatan kepada masyarakat RW 11 Kelurahan Sukamentri Garut baik yang menderita tekanan darah tinggi maupun yang tidak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat RW 11 Kelurahan Sukamentri Garut sebelum dan sesudah dilaksanakan pendidikan kesehatan sebesar 22 point. Nilai pengetahuan sebelum pendidikan kesehatan terkecil 31 dan terbesar 78 dan nilai pengetahuan setelah dilaksanakan pendidikan kesehatan terkecil 79 dan terbesar 100. Dengan meningkatnya pengetahuan masyarakat tentang gaya hidup sehat mampu kendalikan tekanan darah.Abstract: Factors that cause high blood pressure include age, gender, family history, smoking, excess salt intake, saturated fat, used cooking oil, alcohol drinking habits, excess weight, lack of physical activity, stress and use of estrogen. Unhealthy lifestyle. These risk factors can be avoided by taking preventive measures, including by implementing a healthy lifestyle, such as taking regular medication and controlling blood pressure. Through controlling a healthy lifestyle, is an important modality to control hypertension. The purpose of this activity is to increase public knowledge about Controlling Blood Pressure by Implementing a Healthy Lifestyle in RW 11 Sukamentri, Garut. The method used to achieve this goal is to conduct health education activities for the community of Rw 11 Sukamentri, both those who suffer from high blood pressure and those who do not. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in the knowledge of the people of Rw 11 Sukamentri Village before and after health education was carried out by 22 points. The smallest value of knowledge before health education is 31 and the largest is 78 and the smallest value of knowledge after health education is 79 and the largest is 100. With increasing public knowledge about a healthy lifestyle, they are able to control blood pressure.

Abstract

Kesehatan gigi dan mulut dapat menimbulkan komplikasi serius pada masalah kesehatan bagi organ tubuh lainnya. Permenkes Menteri Nomor89 Tahun 2015menyatakan bahwa kesehatan gigi dan mulut adalah bagian  integral dari kesehatan seluruh tubuh. Maka, agar programini dapat berjalan secara optimal, Kemenkes membentuk Komite Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut yang akan membantu Kemenkes dalam menyusun rencana strategi upaya kesehatan gigi dan mulut, sehingga dapat mencapai target nasional. Riskesdas tahun 2018 menyatakan bahwa proporsi terbesar masalah gigi di Indonesia adalah gigi rusak/berlubang/sakit, sedangkan masalah kesehatan mulut yang mayoritas dialami penduduk Indonesia adalah gusi bengkak dan/atau keluar bisul. Jawa Barat memiliki permasyalahan gigi dan mulut sebesar 28% lebih tinggi dari nasional, yaitu 25,9%. Sementara  itu, Kabupaten Garut memiliki prevalensi masalah gigi dan mulut lebih tinggi lagi, yaitu sebesar 36,7%, sebagian besar banyak diderita anak usia sekolah. Pengabdian ini dilakukan pada Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Qomar yang terdapatdiKabupaten Garut dengan tujuan meningkatkan kognitifnya pada pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan mulut. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah interaktif yang diawali dengan pre-testdan diakhiri dengan post-test. Hasil yang didapatkan terdapat peningkatan kognitif pada tiap-tiap item pertanyaan, yaitu : pengertian kesehatan gigi dan mulut (57,14%), ciri-ciri gigi yang sehat (26,78%), fungsi gigi (12,5%), manfaat menggosok gigi (23,21%), cara membersihkan gigi dan mulut (30,36%), cara menggosok gigi yang benar (33,93%), lamanya menggosok gigi (35,71%), dan penyebab kerusakan gigi (25%). Kesimpulannya adalah kognitif siswa bertambah, tapi ada beberapa jawaban benar yang belum mencapai 100%.

Abstract

The level of dependence of children on smartphones increased during the Covid-19 pandemic to 47.5%. The average smartphone use time for school-age children is 6.85 hours a day. Meanwhile, the ideal screen time for school-age children is no more than 2 hours/day. Smartphone addiction is a growing problem in children with adverse physical, psychological, and social health conse-quences. The purpose of the study was to see the levels of smartphone addiction in school-age children after the Covid-19 pandemic in rural area of Indonesia. This study used a cross-sectional descriptive design. The research subjects were school-aged children at "X" Elementary School (N=114), total sampling. Data collection was carried out using the Indonesian version of the Smartphone Addiction Scale (SAS) instrument which is valid and reliable. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The smartphone addiction levels were 13.2% for low addiction, 77.2% for moderate addiction, and 9.6% for severe addiction. Item 4 SAS, which contains a statement of feeling happy when using a smartphone gets the highest score. The positive anticipation dimension is the most dominant with the highest score. The level of smartphone addiction after the Covid-19 pandemic among school-age children in this study was dominated by moderate smartphone addiction. The role of parents, teachers, health workers, and the government is an important key to reducing smartphone addiction incidents in school-age children in the future.

Abstract

BPJS Kesehatan is the legal entity administering social security in the health sector. The health program is undertook the National Health Insurance. The entity was a replacement for Askes for civil servants and Jamsostek for non-civil servants. All Indonesian citizens are required to set aside their income for future health insurance. Thus all governments in all regions in Indonesia formed BPJS Kesehatan. It is recorded that up to 2021, 83.89% have been registered as participants of BPJS Kesehatan. So this program is also running in West Java, including Garut Regency where the participants in 2022 have reached 85%. However, there are problems in its implementation, that is awareness in paying dues as evidenced by the large number of participants who are in arrears. The PPM team decided to do community service in one of the downtown areas of Garut Regency, namely in 15th Hamlet, Sukamentri Urban Village, Garut Kota District. The results of the initial review, the participants of BPJS Kesehatan here are classified as low. The PPM team assumed that cause was the low level of community knowledge. So the purpose of this service is increasing the knowledge level of the people in 15th hamlet, Sukamentri Urban Village, Garut Kota District about BPJS Kesehatan. The method is counseling to the community and its leaders. The result is an average pretest of 42.58 and average posttest of 63.81. The conclusion that there was increase the knowledge level of the 15th Hamlet Sukamentri Urban Village community about BPJS Kesehatan. Keyword: BPJS Kesehatan, Health Insurance, Knowledge level

Abstract

The perspective in school health nursing is how to integrate the concept of health in the school curriculum through efforts in early discovery related to health problems, health maintenance efforts and the school environment. School health nurses play a role in implementing EPSDT (Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment of health problems). According to the Ministry of Health, UKS is an integrated effort in order to improve the ability to live a healthy life which then forms healthy behaviors of school-age children who are in school. UKS plays a role in providing knowledge related to health problems to students / children so that in the future it is hoped that they can practice a healthy lifestyle anywhere. The purpose of education is to provide and improve students' understanding of the importance of preventing health problems and to identify the importance of early detection to avoid health problems. The method used is the lecture method, question and answer, discussion and demonstration. The results of the health counselling activities were approximately 323 students. The counseling participants looked enthusiastic when the material was given. Participants participated in the counselling happily because the counselling was carried out in a fun way. The counselling activity was conducive because the participants paid attention to the material presented well. This is evidenced by the number of participants who are interested in answering questions during the question and answer session. Participants participated in the counselling happily because the counselling was carried out with a pleasant face-to-face method. The counselling activity was conducive because the participants paid attention to the material presented well about degree of school health.

Abstract

Training that is suitable and safe for the elderly is exercise. The type of exercise that can be done by the elderly is gymnastics, gymnastics for the elderly is a sport that is simple and easy to do. Gymnastics helps maintain physical health, makes bones strong, makes the heart work better and eliminates free radicals in the body. The decline in the musculoskeletal system, especially in the elderly, so exercise such as gymnastics help delay and prevent functional decline in old age. In addition, elderly gymnastics is one of the activities recommended by the Ministry of Health. The purpose of this activity was to provide health education to increase awareness of the importance of elderly gymnastics for body fitness in RW 11 Bentar Hilir Village, Sukamentri, Garut. The method used in this activity was lectures, questions and answers. The result was that, through health education, the elderly understood and knew about the importance of elderly gymnastics to improve body fitness. In conclusion, there is an increase in knowledge about the importance of elderly gymnastics in improving body fitness with 20.2 points.
