Abstract

This study aims to describe and find out the factors supporting and inhibiting the implementation of religious character education through school culture in SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso. The background of this research is the implementation of character education that has not been maximally applied in Indonesia. The school emphasizes verbal and numerical abilities while the ability to instill faith and piety is ignored. Muhammadiyah Karangploso Elementary School is an elementary school that seeks to instill religious character. These efforts are in line with the vision of the school that is the realization of Muslim people who have noble, intelligent, skilled, independent, noble culture, useful for society and the country. This type of research is descriptive research 'using a qualitative approach. Research subjects are the principal, teachers, and students. The object of this research is the whole process of activities regarding the implementation of religious character planting through school culture in SD Muhammadiyah Karangploso. The results showed that Muhammadiyah Karangploso Elementary School had implemented religious character planting well, and referred to indicators of success according to the Ministry of National Education and expert opinion but there were still obstacles related to its implementation including environmental conditions of students who were not friendly so that it had an impact on the way students behaved.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of teacher activity and describe the implementation of the teacher's role in improving the quality of school management. The subjects of this study were the school principal, teachers, and students at SD Muhammadiyah Boarding School Prambanan. Data collection methods using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques using interactive technologies. The data validity used methodological triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed that the role of teachers in improving the quality of school management includes the role as a source of learning there is mastery of the material, as a teacher facilitator using the media, as a manager by creating optimal learning conditions, as a demonstrator by giving suitable examples to students, as a guide by recognizing the abilities and potential of students, as a motivator by providing motivation, as an evaluator by providing an evaluation. Every morning, elementary school teachers from Muhammadiyah Boarding School motivate character-building programs. Each class has its target to shape the character of students through daily habituation that did with the teacher.

Abstract

Based on the results of interviews conducted with teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Moyudan, it is known that there are obstacles in the implementation of online learning, including difficulties in providing learning so that two-way interaction does not occur, developing IT-based teaching materials, developing online learning evaluations, and teacher limitations. in using online applications and platforms. Therefore, there is a need for self-development for elementary school teachers in improving the ability of Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). The purpose of this service is so that teachers can create and develop teaching materials with Kinemaster and evaluate learning using Google Form and Kahoot. This activity is carried out with a limited number of direct mentoring methods and integrated practice while still complying with the health protocol. The training implementation technique is carried out by demonstration, practice, discussion, mentoring. At the initial stage, it was done by demonstrating the introduction of various applications that can be used in online learning. Furthermore, the direct practice of making teaching materials and evaluation of online learning is carried out. The results of this activity are being able to develop TPACK-based learning tools, including the preparation of teaching materials using Kinemaster, Google forms, and Kahoot. The achievement of the results of this activity is 87.5% based on the results of the evaluation of the achievement of activities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of the character healthy school program as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur. The approach used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The result of the research is that SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur implements a character healthy school program that is in accordance with the national standard guidelines for implementing a healthy school with character, namely approaches, strategies, and procedures. SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur seeks to cultivate PHBS by integrating the main characters, namely religious, nationalist, independent, mutual cooperation, and integrity. Supporting factors are UKS/M Ibnu Sina at SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur which has facilities and services of national standard, canteen at SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur which already has a BPOM certificate, collaboration with experienced outsiders, and has excellent work programs. The inhibiting factors for the implementation of the integrity character values that have not been implemented properly, the density of classes that are still not in accordance with the standards of a healthy school with character, the lack of cleanliness of student toilets.

Abstract

This study describes the role and strategy of the library as a means of supporting the literacy school movement at SD Muhammadiyah Pakem Sleman. The method used in this research is the descriptive method. The research uses qualitative data and describes. Data collection techniques are interview, documentation, and observation. The data analysis technique used a qualitative descriptive analysis. The data validity technique used technical triangulation and source triangulation. The result showed that the role of the school library includes the role of education, the role of information, the role of administrative responsibility, the role of research, and the role of recreation. Educational role wich providing fiction and nonfiction books, information role by providing various information from various sources, administrative responsibility role by having rules and sanctions for users. The role as research that can be used to collect data and role of recreation which can be a good and interesting place. SD Muhammadiyah Pakem Sleman has implemented three stages of literacy movement, namely the habit stage by getting used to reading day, development stage by developing literacy activities and giving an appreciation of literacy skills in students, and a learning stage with a learning method that integrates literacy and involves the public to improve literacy skills.
