Abstract

Fruit peel waste, so that it is not problematic for the environment and health, can be used as a source of eco enzyme raw materials, which are the result of fermentation of fruit/vegetable residue, sugar, and water. Eco enzymes can be made by mixing organic waste, such as fruit and vegetable waste, with sugar and water in a ratio of 3: 1: 10. Basically, all fruit and vegetable waste can be used as raw material for making eco enzymes. The service activity of processing fruit peel waste into Eco-enzyme invites students to handle waste in a simple way around the school. This service activity is carried out through group practice. Making eco enzyme invites students to use this liquid as a natural cleanser, one of the experiments to handle the waste. Using fruit peel waste as an eco enzyme as an alternative to cleaning fluid adds insight and skills in processing fruit peel waste into cleaning fluid.

Abstract

The low level of students' science process skills is one of the problems faced in the learning process. Aspects of science process skills formulate hypotheses, apply concepts, ask questions, plan experiments, conduct experiments, predict, interpret data, communicate, and conclude. The type of research used is development research. The development model used is the 4 D model (define, design, develop, and dessiminate). This research only tested the validity of the science process skills instrument. The instrument used was a science process skills validity questionnaire. The questionnaire consisted of material, construction, and readability. From the research that has been done, it is obtained that the science process skills instrument on the material of biotechnological innovation phase F 81% with a valid category. The instrument can be used to measure students' science process skills in biology subjects.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the current state of ethnoscience integration in science learning and analyze the impact of this integration on students' understanding and appreciation of science, and explore the challenges and opportunities presented by this approach. This article was prepared based on the results of a systematic review of 16 articles published in 6 SCOPUS indexed journals and 10 SINTA accredited journals from 2020-2023. The results of the research show, 4 articles highlight Sasak cultural values, Dayak cultural values, local values of ulos weaving, local wisdom of the Sorong West Papua community, Badui traditional cultural values, Laot customary law, Congklak traditional games, Bebentangan traditional games, Banjar traditional language, local wisdom of syafaral anam, and cultural values of the Bugis tribe. Keywords: Ethnoscience Integration, Local Cultural Values
