Abstract

Fruit peel waste, so that it is not problematic for the environment and health, can be used as a source of eco enzyme raw materials, which are the result of fermentation of fruit/vegetable residue, sugar, and water. Eco enzymes can be made by mixing organic waste, such as fruit and vegetable waste, with sugar and water in a ratio of 3: 1: 10. Basically, all fruit and vegetable waste can be used as raw material for making eco enzymes. The service activity of processing fruit peel waste into Eco-enzyme invites students to handle waste in a simple way around the school. This service activity is carried out through group practice. Making eco enzyme invites students to use this liquid as a natural cleanser, one of the experiments to handle the waste. Using fruit peel waste as an eco enzyme as an alternative to cleaning fluid adds insight and skills in processing fruit peel waste into cleaning fluid.

Abstract

Abstract

Soy protein has the highest content of essential amino acids compared to other legumes. Although soy milk has high nutritional benefits, there is still a lack of understanding and skills among students related to how to make it. In this context, efforts are needed to provide students with an understanding and practical skills regarding the benefits of soy milk and how to make it independently. The purpose of the service activity is to provide training on the process of making soy milk in a simple and practical way. The service activities were carried out at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Sulthon Fattah. These results and discussions provide a positive picture of the role of education in shaping healthy behaviors and lifestyles, and illustrate the potential of students as agents of change in their communities. Through the sustainability of this kind of initiative, it is hoped that positive changes in the health and diet of the community can be realized in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of STEM-based guided inquiry models on students' Creative Thinking Skills in science learning. This type of research is a meta-analysis. The study analyzed 15 primary studies published in 2018-2023 that had met the inclusion criteria. Search data sources through the Google scholar database; ERIC, Taylor of Francis, ScienceDirect and ProQuest. Data analysis with the help of the JSAP application verse 0.16.3. These results conclude that the overall value of effect size is 0.99 (95% CI [ 0.79; 1,19]) high category. These findings show that the application of STEM-based inquiry-based learning models affects students' 21st century thinking skills. In addition, these findings provide important information on STEM-based guided inquiry learning in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of problem-based learning models on students' metacognition in science learning. This type of research is a meta-analysis using the PRISMA 2020 method. Articles from Scopus and Google Scholar databases were collected using Publish or Perish (PoP) software. From 8 articles that met the inclusion criteria, a total of 20 data were obtained to be processed in the meta-analysis. Data analysis was used with JASP software. The results of this metaanalysis research show that problem-based learning model provides moderate effectiveness on students' metacognition in science learning (r RE = 0.67; SE = 0.16; z = 4.24; p < 0.001). This shows that problem-based learning model can improve students' metacognition in science learning. Through PBL, students become more aware of their cognitive strategies and learn to organise them more effectively. Incorporating PBL into the science curriculum can significantly improve students' metacognition, leading to more independent and effective students. Therefore, widely adopting PBL in science education is recommended to achieve better learning outcomes

Abstract

The performance of heterojunction silicon solar cells strongly depends on the quality of the Transparent Conductive Oxide (TCO) layer, particularly Indium Tin Oxide (ITO), which governs both lateral charge transport and optical coupling. Despite its industrial relevance, achieving low-resistivity and high transmittance ITO at low thermal budgets remains a manufacturing challenge. This study aims to identify and optimize the key pulsed DC magnetron sputtering parameters that govern the structural, electrical, and optical properties of ultra-thin ITO films suitable for heterojunction applications. A systematic experimental approach was implemented by varying discharge power, oxygen partial pressure, deposition temperature, and post-deposition annealing conditions using an inline industrial sputtering system. The results show that moderate discharge power, controlled oxygen incorporation, and substrate temperatures around 180 ◦C significantly enhance film densification and electron transport. Under the optimized parameter set, the ITO films achieved low resistivity in the range of (4.6–5)×10−4 Ω·cm and visible-light transmittance above 90%, while annealing at 160 ◦C further reduced defect density and stabilized electrical per- formance. These findings demonstrate that high-quality ITO can be produced within the thermal constraints of heterojunction silicon technologies and provide a robust foundation for integration into automated or AI-assisted sputtering control frameworks. Overall, this work supports the development of scalable, energy-efficient, and industrially viable fabrication routes for next-generation photovoltaic devices.
