Abstract

Energy is currently decreasing due to excessive use of fossil energy in all fields. Issues about global warming, air pollution and the effects of greenhouse gases have also encouraged progress in research on more environmentally friendly sources of electrical energy (Revelation, 2018). Calculation of Measured Discharge To obtain discharge data, direct measurements were carried out at the Air Anak River PLTMH location. The method used to measure discharge is by making stakes on both sides of the river bank. Then tie a rope on both sides of the stake so that the rope stretches from one bank of the river to the other, so that the width of the river can be measured. After obtaining the width of the river, points were made every 25 cm and at each point the flow speed was found using a current meter and the depth was measured. Discussion of the results of the analysis of hydrokinetic energy potential in the Cisadane River can involve various aspects, including the data that has been collected, analysis methods, and the implications in the context of sustainable energy development. The following are the steps that may be involved in discussing the results of the hydrokinetic energy potential analysis in the Cisadane River to obtain a water discharge of around 0.14 liters/minute and obtain a hydropower potential of 2.5 m3/s.

Abstract

Plastic is one of the human needs in everyday life, as a place to wrap food and drinks, because plastic is practical, clean, and makes it easy for humans. Plastic is also an artificial inorganic material composed of chemicals that are quite harmful to the environment. To deal with plastic waste, a way is needed, to process the plastic waste into materials that are more useful and also have benefits for nature, one way is by recycling the plastic waste into fuel, namely fuel in the form of oil. By processing plastic waste into fuel oil, besides being able to reduce plastic waste, we can also save petroleum supplies in nature. In addition, the oil produced from this plastic also has a calorific value that is quite high on par with fossil fuels such as gasoline and diesel. The purpose of this research is to create a new tool size and create a new tool design from existing plastic waste processing equipment. The research method that the author uses is a field study method by analyzing existing waste processing equipment into liquid fuel and modifying the tool with Solidworks Software. In modifying the plastic waste processing equipment into liquid fuel, the first step is to modify the frame size which is more compact and not much free space and in modifying the design of the plastic waste processing equipment to become liquid fuel, the design is more attractive and elegant, while also prioritizing safety. Keyword: Oil, Design, Waste, Plastic, Solidworks

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan metode konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan self efficacy matematis mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian ini pretest-postest control group design dengan kategori quasi eksperiment. Hasil penelitian uji independent sample t-tes menunjukan bahwa metode PBL lebih efektif dari pada metode konvensional dalam perkuliahan matematika teknik. Hasil uji menunjukan bahwa sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,005. Dengan kata lain, ada perbedaan antara metode PBL dengan konvensional terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa. Besar perbedaannya dari kedua kelas dapat dilihat pada hasil mean postes kelas ekperimen 75,23 dan mean postes kelas kontrol 54,32. Artinya, menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode Problem Based Learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah mahasiswa dibandigkan metode konvensional. Hal ini linier dengan hasil sebaran angket self efficacy mahasiswa yang diterapkan metode Problem Based Leaning perbedaan dari mahasiswa yang menggunakan metode konvensional. Hasil uji menunjukan Based on Mean adalah 0,03>0,05
