Abstract

Zat gizi adalah bahan makanan yang di perlukan oleh tubuh untuk tumbuh dan berkembang sehingga tubuh memperoleh energi, membangun sel dan manusia dapat melaksanakan kegiatannya sehari hari. Pola asuh gizi ibu merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat mempengaruhi status gizi pada balita. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pola asuh gizi ibu antara lain pengetahuan tentang gizi, keterjangkauan sarana untuk memperoleh makanan sumber nutrisi, kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga dan sanitasi makanan sendiri. Beberapa factor yang mempengaruhi pola asuh gizi tersebut sangat erat kaitannya dengan kondisi geografis dan sosial budaya masyarakat. yang baru mengalami pemekaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deslriptif korelasi yang bertujuanuntuk mengetahui faktor faktor yang berhubungan dengan Pola asuh gizi pada ibu yangmemiliki anak balita di Puskesmas Orahili Kec.Gomo Kabupaten Nias Selatan ProvinsiSumatera Utara. Pengambilan data dilakukan terhadap 73 responden denganmenggunakan kuesioner yang dibangun berdasarkan kepustakaan yang ada. Analisadata dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji x2 (chi square) yang mengidentifikasihubungan tiap variabel independen dengan variabel dependen (a=0,05).Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dengan pola asuh ibu (p=0,019;a=0,05), ekonomi dengan pola asuh ibu (p=0,039; a=0,05), dan terdapat hubungan antara pendidikan dengan pola asuh ibu (p=0,023; a=0,05).

Abstract

Caring is a nurse action to care someone else based on morality and humanity. Caring is influenced by soft skill that a nurse has. Soft skill is an ablility that someone has related to communication, adaptation and socialization. This cross sectional study was aimed to gain the relationship between soft skill and nurse caring. This study used a questionnaire that was given to one hundred and fifty one patients in inpatient ward. The result showed that most nurse soft skill were good based on patients perceptions. Profesionalism, problem solving and self direction were in good category also. Meanwhile, most patients said that communication ability was less good. Chi square test proved that there was a relationship between soft skill with nurse caring. There were three soft skill abilities that had relationship with nurse caring, they were communication, professionalism and problem solving. Meanwhile, self direction didn’t have relationship with nurse caring. It was concluded that nurse caring was influenced by their soft skill ability. Chief nurse should supervise the nurse continuously so that they could increase their soft skill ability. Head nurse should make a policy to evaluate nurse soft skill when their performance was measured.

Abstract

Abstract Backgound: Nurse competence can be influenced by the empowerment of head nurse. Empowerment is how head nurse conditions the climate and work culture in the nursing ward that can improve nurse competences. The existing literature is still very varied, therefore a systematic review is needed to determine the specific empowerment carried out by the head nurse based on published scientific evidence.Purpose: The study was aimed to know how the empowerment of head nurse affected nursing staff competences in the hospitalMethods: Conducted a systematic review of the literature from 2013 to 2023. Data were collected from 6 databases (EMBASE, EBSCOHost, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect, Scopus, and PubMed), using the keywords “empowerment”, “empowerment of head nurses”, and “empowerment AND head nurses”. The literature study was limited to English-language, as well as literature that had abstracts and full text. The systematic review was organized using PRISMA. The quality of the articles was assessed using JBI critical appraisal tools.Results: There were 8 articles included in the review category. The results showed that there are four actions of the head nurse to empower the staff, including: 1) providing training to increase skills and knowledge, 2) providing autonomy, 3) being open, communicative and caring, and 4) being a shelter.Conclusion: The head nurse played an important role in managing the ward by setting policies to coordinate nursing staff tasks, and solve problems with the staff. Empowerment can improve the organization climate and culture to sharpen the quality of nursing care.Keywords: empowerment, head nurse, nursing staff, systematic review Abstrak Latar belakang: Kompetensi perawat dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa factor, salah satunya dalah empowerment dari kepala ruangan. Empowerment yang dimaksud dalam hal ini adalah bagaimana kepala ruangan mengkondsikan iklim dan budaya kerja di ruangan yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi perawat. Literatur yang ada tentang topik ini masih sangat bervasiasi, oleh karenanya dibutuhkan sistematik review untuk mengetahui empowerment yang spesifik dilakukan kepala ruangan berdasarkan bukti-bukti ilmiah yang telah dipublikasikan.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui bagaimana empowerment kepala ruangan dalam mempengaruhi kompetensi perawat pelaksana di rumah sakit.Metode: Melakukan tinjauan literatur secara sistematis dari tahun 2013 sampai dengan 2023. Data dikumpulkan dari 6 database (EMBASE, EBSCOHost, Sage Journals, ScienceDirect, Scopus, dan PubMed), dengan menggunakan kata kunci empowerment, empowerment of head nurse, dan empowerment AND head nurse. Studi literatur terbatas hanya pada literatur yang berbahasa Inggris, serta literatur yang memiliki abstrak dan full text. Sistematik review disusun dengan menggunakan PRISMA. Kualitas artikel yang dihasilkan dinilai dengan menggunakan JBI critical appraisal tools.Hasil: Terdapat 8 artikel yang masuk kedalam kategori review. Hasil review menunjukkan terdapat empat tindakan kepala ruangan untuk memberdayakan staf perawat, antara lain: 1) memberikan pelatihan untuk menambah skill dan pengetahuan, 2) memberikan otonomi, 3) bersikap terbuka, komunikatif dan caring, dan 4) menjadi tempat bernaung bagi perawat dalam bekerja.Kesimpulan: Kepala ruangan berperan penting dalam mengelola unit ruangan dengan menetapkan kebijakan untuk mengkordinasikan tugas dari staf perawat, dan bersama-sama dengan staf perawat memecahkan masalah. Empowerment yang dilakukan kepala ruangan terhadap staf perawat dapat meningkatkan iklim dan budaya organisasi untuk mempertajam kualitas asuhan pelayanan keperawatan.Kata Kunci: empowerment, kepala ruangan, perawat, systematic review

Abstract

Background: Over the previous two decades, various studies have looked at the burden of stroke caregivers, given that patients typically require long-term care, the role of caregivers at home is critical.Objective: to analyze caregiver burnout response in caring for stroke patients with socio-demographic Methods: A cross-sectional design was used in a correlational analytical study. The sampling technique used was a non-probability sampling is combined with a purposive sampling approach. The population in this study was all caregivers at Medan, North Sumatra, with an average of 113 caregivers. The independent variables were Socioeconomic status, education level, Residence, Age, Employment status, and Wealth status, and the dependent variable was burnout response. Data were collected using the instruments in this study are the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI) with Cronbach’s ? coefficient values of 0.837, 0.869, and 0.881 and test-retest reliability was high (p??0.001). Statistical test using the Binary Logistic Regression.Results: Primary education (AOR 2.525; 95% CI 2.522-2.525), Urban residence (AOR 1.092; 95% CI 1.092-1.097), 35-39 age group (AOR 1.772; 95% CI 1.772-1.774), Unemployed (AOR 1.371; 95% CI 1.371-1.375), wealth status (AOR 0.870; 95% CI 0.870-871). Conclusion: Socioeconomic status, education level, place of residence, age, employment status, and wealth status all have a major impact on caregiver tiredness when caring for stroke patients.

Abstract

Background: Stroke is the most common central nervous system disorder and the leading cause of functional impairment.   Stroke-related illnesses are difficult. Movement and function issues in stroke patients are related to an inability to regulate body weight transfer as well as a deterioration in muscle movement capacity, resulting in a loss of balance.Objective: to analyze motor relearning program therapy in stroke survivors aims to prevent recurrence of strokes while also improving movement and functional abilityMethods: This type of research is a quasi-experimental pre-posttest with a control group design. The population in this study was all recurrent strokes at Medan in the last three months, with an average of 120 recurrent strokes. This study is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling. Sample number using the Lameshow formula and obtained 120 recurrence strokes, 60 intervention group 60 control group. The study initially employed the T-test. Results: There were differences in movement and standing balance function before and after Motor Relearning Program (MRP) therapyConclusion: There were differences in movement and standing balance function before and after Motor Relearning Program (MRP) therapy. Future researchers should conduct further studies on pharmacological and non-pharmacological supportive therapies, such as electrical acupuncture or muscle and nerve training.
