Abstract

Masalah mental sering dialami oleh lanisa yaitu mengalami depresi. Kehidupan lansia dipengaruhi oleh dukungan dari keluarga. Perubahan secara fisik akan dialami oleh setiap individu baik fisik maupun mental seperti terjadi penurunan fungsi pendengaran dan daya tahan tubuh. Tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kejadian depresi pada lansia. Metode penelitian yaitu penelitian observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross Sectional Study. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 lanjut usia sesuai dengan inklusi. Dalam pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Lokasi penelitian di kampung Bentung pada bulan Agustus 2019. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan Uji chi square nilai value p=0,029 (p<0,05). Kesimpulan: ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan depresi pada lansia Mental problems are often experienced by lanisa, namely experiencing depression. The life of the elderly is influenced by support from the family. Physical changes will be experienced by every individual both physically and mentally such as a decrease in hearing function and endurance. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between family support and the incidence of depression in the elderly. The research method is analytical observational research with a cross sectional study design. The sample in this study was 30 elderly people according to inclusion. In sampling using purposive sampling technique. The research location was in Bentung village in August 2019. The results of the study based on the chi square test value p = 0.029 (p <0.05). Conclusion: there is a relationship between family support and depression in the elderly.
