Abstract

This research aims to analyze the learning styles of students in the first semester, namely semester 1, at the Pamulang University Economic Education Study Program using a quantitative approach and phenomenological methodology. The research subjects were 6 students in the first semester of the Economic Education Study Program as Key Informants and 2 lecturers who taught in the first semester as informants. The data collection technique used was interviews. The data analysis technique for this research is by means of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the research show that early semester students have a tendency towards a visual learning style where students prefer to learn by clearly seeing what the lecturer says, starting from mouth movements, hand movements and writing made by the lecturer on the blackboard. Students also tend to write down points that they consider important during the lecture process. This is in line with one of the characteristics of the visual learning style, which is that they enjoy writing down the information they get. By being aware of their respective learning styles and carrying out learning activities according to their learning styles, students can understand the material being studied more optimally. Thus, it can be concluded that students in the first semester of the Economic Education Study Program for the 2023/2024 Odd Semester Academic Year tend to have a visual learning style.Keyword: Education; Study; Learning Style.

Abstract

This research analyses the use of online learning media on the students’ achieved learning outcomes during the COVID-19 pandemic for 8th-grade students at PGRI 363 Pondok Petir. This research applies the descriptive method, which describes and interprets objects as what they are. The data in this research were collected by using observation, interview, and document. The findings of this research show that Google Classroom was used for online media learning for 8th-grade students at SMP PGRI 363. Using Google Classroom resulted in decreased and increased student learning outcomes. The outcome decreased in learning materials; not all students could absorb them. However, there was increasing skill. There is an increase in the skill aspect related to students’ skills in using technology in the field of learning, namely Google Classroom and according to information from teachers, it is stated that students have become more responsible for their learning, where students try to complete the tasks given even without direct supervision from the teacher in class. The results of teacher discussions with student parents during the learning review process using Google Classroom also show that students are becoming increasingly trained to be more independent in managing their learning at home.

Abstract

Pengangguran merupakan salah satu masalah serius di Indonesia yang sulit diatasi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang tinggi, sementara peningkatan lapangan kerja tidak sejalan. Di sisi lain, perusahaan semakin selektif dalam merekrut karyawan baru, sedangkan minat generasi muda Indonesia untuk berwirausaha masih tergolong rendah. Dalam situasi ini, dunia pendidikan memegang peran penting dalam mendorong minat berwirausaha di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Program Studi Sastra Inggris Universitas Pamulang, khususnya yang mengambil mata kuliah Kewirausahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi informasi tertulis dan lisan dari para informan. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Penelitian ini melibatkan 27 responden, terdiri atas 2 dosen Kewirausahaan dan 25 mahasiswa Program Studi Sastra Inggris kelas Reguler A. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya meningkatkan minat berwirausaha mahasiswa Sastra Inggris Universitas Pamulang dapat dilakukan melalui perkuliahan Kewirausahaan yang terstruktur, program magang kewirausahaan, serta inisiatif kreatif mahasiswa, selain itu juga menunjukkan bahwa mata kuliah Kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi berperan penting dalam menumbuhkan jiwa kewirausahaan. Hal ini dicapai melalui penanaman pengetahuan dan minat berwirausaha, pengembangan kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan, serta peningkatan motivasi untuk menjadi wirausahawan.

Abstract

Community service is carried out in the neighborhood of the community around the 1001 Buku Community at Jl. Kemuning 3. Utan Kayu Utara Matraman, East Jakarta, found by school-age children saving, saving prefers something that becomes a habit. Various research results need to be instilled the values of saving habits are needed. Implanting financial literacy values as early as possible will be needed for understanding and knowledge about financial literacy and also the level of welfare in the future. The cognitive properties of children are very effective for instilling financial literacy values. The family which is the first community is a place that manages financial literacy values very effectively. The role that is still concrete and still in school development is also very important in order to provide knowledge about financial literacy education to children. Joint commitment and synergy of all parties that are needed to succeed the values of financial literacy through the family or school. The ability of financial management is also needed to prepare human needs in the future. To meet the needs of daily needs, the need for health, educational needs of children and the need for old age insurance is needed for financial management that is issued and planned.
