Abstract

Limited QCIs (QoS Class Identifiers) restrict the handling different service types with varying quality requirements. This necessitates research on QoS management to minimize latency and improve user experience, particularly for real-time applications like video conferencing and online gaming. This paper proposes a combined optimization scheme targeting QCI 3 to reduce latency. The approach involves disabling DRX, optimizing pre-allocation, and reducing the PDCP discard timer. The optimization performance is studied by taking the case of an e-sport game that demands low network latency, affecting the quality of the players' experience. The optimization scheme was validated through functionality, resource allocation, and air interface latency tests conducted under actual e-sport gaming conditions. Network latency was measured every minute to evaluate the impact of optimization on esports games running under QCI 7, QCI 3, and optimized QCI 3. In addition, air interface latency for optimized QCI 3 under networks with poor coverage and very high-capacity networks was compared to latency under QCI 8 (basic), QCI 7, and regular QCI 3. The optimization strategy demonstrated a significant reduction in air interface latency, up to 19% improvement compared to non-optimized QCI 3. It has reduced air interface latency's maximum, minimum, and standard deviation values during gameplay. The strategy also ensured concurrent operation with multiple QCI values without compromising other application’s throughput. The proposed optimization strategy effectively enhances the user experience by significantly reducing average latency and jitter.

Abstract

Quality Service and perceived service price determine customer satisfaction. Quality Service and perceived service price also have an impact on customer repurchase intentions. Satisfied customers tend to repurchase goods and services. This research aims to analyse the influence of Quality Service and price perception on customer satisfaction and the implications for customer repurchase intentions. The population in this study were users of PT Pos Indonesia Persero services in the Regional 2 Jakarta work area. The sampling technique is to use a simple random sampling method. The type of data used is primary data with questionnaires and secondary data with literature. The analysis tool used is Path Analysis, with Lisrel. The results of the research found that there is a direct influence between the Quality Service variable and the price perception variable on the customer satisfaction variable, there is a direct influence between the Quality Service variable, the price perception variable and the customer satisfaction variable on the intention to repurchase, and there is an indirect influence between the Quality Service variable and price perception variable on repurchase interest variable through the intervening variable customer satisfaction

Abstract

Public toilets, especially at airports, play an important role in ensuring the comfort and cleanliness of traveling passengers. The unavailability of tissue and soap in toilets is often a problem at airports. This research aims to develop a soap and tissue monitoring system in airport toilets based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using Narrowband IoT (NB-IoT) technology and the Thingsboard platform. The prototype system for monitoring the availability of airport soap and toilet tissue was successfully created using an Arduino Nano, SIM7000C and was able to communicate with the Thingsboard via the MQTT protocol, making it possible to monitor the availability of sanitation facilities in real-time. The measurement results show that the device can operate well using an IMR 18650 battery for up to 27 hours. This system is able to provide information on the level of contents of soap containers and the capacity of available tissue along with its location. This research underlines the potential of IoT technology in overcoming the problem of unavailability of soap and tissue, aimed at increasing user comfort and maintaining the cleanliness of public facilities at airports.

Abstract

Village tourism is one of the community empowerment programs to maximize the potential of a village to improve the welfare of its people. Data collection techniques are done by interview, observation, and study of documents. Community empowerment is done by optimizing the village tourism program to be a tourism commodity based on the local potential of the community so that the household economy of the local community can improve. Untung Jawa tourism village has provided a change for the community especially in increasing the knowledge and economy of the community. Therefore the community empowerment program in the Tourism Village can be used as a reference in other community empowerment activities. Continuous Development Improving the Quality of Human Resources in Facing Global Competition as a Tourism Area, Community-Based Economic Empowerment on Local Potential Against Household Economic Improvement. The development of community-based tourism objects or community based tourism is the concept of developing a tourist destination through the empowerment of local communities, where the community contributes to the planning, management, and voting in the form of decisions in its development. The purpose of community empowerment assistance to local potential is to provide assistance for the creation and utilization of local potentials in improving the economy.
