Abstract

This study aims to determine differences (1) curriculum structure; (2) industrial work practices; (3) graduate work readiness; and (4) the absorption of graduates between 3-year Vocational Schools and 4-year Vocational School building engineering expertise programs. The research method used was descriptive research with ex post facto approach and survey. Data collection techniques in this study used documentation, interviews and online questionnaires.  The results of this study are as follows: (1) the learning burden on 3-year Vocational High Schools is 5016 JP and 413 KD while the 4-year Vocational School is 6648 JP and 443 KD; (2) apprenticeship implemented at 3 Years Vocational School for 3 months and 4 Year Vocational School for 6-8 months; (3) 3-year SMK graduates 60% of whom are declared ready for work, while 4-year SMK graduates 71.80% of whom are declared more ready to work; and (4) 70% of 3-year vocational school graduates work in a field, while 92% of 4-year SMK graduates work in a field. This can explain that it will be more effective if the Vocational School is held with a 4-year SMK pattern.

Abstract

KampusUnesa Ketintang selalu terjadi banjir pada setiap musim penghujan. Bila terjadi hujan deras dengan durasi  2-3 jam akan terjadi genagan setinggi 30 – 50 cm. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penyebab banjir, besar debit banjir tahunan dan menghitung parit resapan yang dapat mengurangi genangan banjir tahunan. Jenis penelitian kwantitatip, sampel penelitian lokasi genagan di kampus Unesa Ketintang. Metode pengambilan data 1) survey kondisi saluran,bozem, rumah pompa,  lokasi parit, 2) dokumentasi data sekunder, 3) menghitung nilai laju peresapan. Hasil penelitian: 1) saluran drainase berkapasitas 0,470 m3/dt, banyak semak belukar, 2) saluran yang berada di kanan kiri sepanjang jalan berkapasitas 0,312 m3/dt terdapat sedimentasi dan sampah, 3) Debit bangunan Bosem hanya menampung  0,900 m3/dt, 4) rumah pompa yang berkapasitas 0,059 m3/dt banyak rerumputan dan bisa diperluas dan diperdalam, 5) Dua buah pintu pengatur kurang dioperasionalkan, sehingga air Saluran Pembuang Sekunder Wonorejo terjadi aliran balik masuk ke kampus. Total kapasitas pada saat banjir sebesar 1741 m3/dt, kurang efektif. Debit pada masa ulang 5th sebesar Q5 = 2,062 m3/dt, dapat menyebabkan banjir sebesar 0,321 m3/dt bila prasarana yang ada berfungsi. Berdasarkan percobaan jenis tanah dengan koefisien laju rembesan sebesar K = 16, 266 cm/jam atau 0,000467 m/dt.

Abstract

The main problem in education today is the lack of effectiveness in the learning process. This can be seen from the average student learning outcomes which are always still low. Especially for vocational high school students who emphasize learning skills in order to produce work-ready graduates, but it is inversely proportional to the facts in the field. Low learning outcomes are indicated because the learning conditions are still conventional (lectures, practicum, and discussions) where teachers are still a source of learning (teacher centered). This study aims to determine the effect of the project based blended learning model on learning outcomes of vocational high school students. This research was conducted through a literature review and relevant research results and was continued through a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). From the research it was found that there was a significant positive influence between the variable model of project based blended learning and student learning outcomes, which means that student learning outcomes can be improved through the application of a project based blended learning model.
