Abstract

Instagram has become a new lifestyle in recent years. Instagram has created a society without borders because its users and followers are not limited to places. Instagram users post creative photos and videos on their accounts not only for advertising but also network orientation. Millennial generation tends to use the internet in all aspects of life. This paper aims to pay attention to: 1) How about the model and strategy of the Millennial Muslim network in aisnusantara; and 2) How they explain the importance of religious moderation in digital media. This qualitative research uses a netnographic approach based on data from the @aisnusantara Instagram account. With the ethno-semiotic method, this research reveals that: 1) Aisnusantara uses a networking management model from the national to regional levels, and has an annual meeting, namely the Kopdarnas which has an agenda to discuss various issues related to national and religious affairs for the millennial generation. 2) Aisnusantara campaigned for Islamic preaching inclusively through Instagram, for example against extremism on social media, by offering alternative narratives to counter extremism by campaigning for peaceful Islam based on religious moderation.

Abstract

Garam merupakan komoditas yang selalu dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat baik untuk konsumsi maupun industri. Permintaan garam yang tinggi di pasar membuat produsen garam harus bisa memenuhi kebutuhan akan komoditas ini. Desa Dresi Kulon Kecamatan Kaliori merupakan salah satu daerah yang memproduksi garam. Mayoritas masyarakat Desa Dresi Kulon merupakan petani garam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika apa yang terjadi dalam kehidupan petani garam tradisional di Desa Dresi Kulon dan bagaimana strategi yang dilakukan oleh petani garam untuk memenuhi kebutuhan ekonominya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Data didapatkan dengan cara observasi partisipatoris, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya kendala yang dialami oleh petani garam meliputi perubahan cuaca, banyaknya impor garam, dan menurunnya harga garam karena hasil garam yang melimpah. Adanya berbagai kendala dalam memproduksi garam memaksa petani garam harus beralih profesi melakukan pekerjaan sampingan menjadi nelayan, petani sawah, dan tukang ojek. Selain itu, mereka juga memanfaatkan relasi atau jaringan, alternatif subsistensi, dan mengikat sabuk lebih kencang. Petani garam di Desa Dresi Kulon menggunakan prinsip mekanisme survival yang merupakan bagian dari teori moral ekonomi petani yang dikemukakan oleh James C. Scott. Hal tersebut merupakan bentuk dari strategi yang dilakukan oleh petani garam agar tetap survive dalam menghadapi kendala yang terjadi selama produksi garam.

Abstract

The religious differences status in Indonesia has an impact on community and state life. Kerohanian Sapta Dharma (KSD) is one of the officially recognized schools. But it is often followed up negatively, both intimidating and discriminatory. This paper examines the KSD community with the method of life story interviewing, tracking data from the mass media, internal documents, and related sources to answer the formula: first, state policies related to sources of trust. Secondly, the typology of experience of KSD citizens in the state and society. Third, the perspective of citizenship pluralism looks at people's experiences. As recognized by the state recognized by local beliefs and religions through several predetermined agreements. However, on the other hand, the state rejects citizens' rights in practice because there are legal products such as Law No.1 / PNPS / 1965 which are used as legitimacy to discriminate against groups of people. It is the experience of KSD people in community and state life in three typologies, first, conversion experience; second, negotiation experience; third, syncretic experience.
