Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and determine the learning design, learning implementation, learning evaluation, the obstacles encountered during learning also efforts to overcome these obstacles for children with dyscalculia in Elementary School 01 Limau Manis. In this research, researcher uses descriptive qualitative method. The subject in this study is mathematic teacher. In this study, researcher used observation , interview and documentation as the technique of data collection. Results obtained in this study are the design of learning mathematics which is consists of Lesson plan and syllabus in accordance with the curriculum. The implementation of mathematics learning carried out for seven hours in a week. The implementation of learning includes 3 phases namely introduction, core activity and closing activity. Learning evaluation is done after the lesson ended by a written test form. The preparation of the program teacher did not experiencing problems, but other Teacher's constraints came during the learning, namely classroom management, during the learning process there are students who pay attention and some of them are did not pay attention. Teacher's effort to overcome these obstacles is giving more attention to their students.

Abstract

Numeracy skills are a fundamental aspect of mathematics learning in primary schools. However, many first-grade students still struggle to understand the concept of addition, especially when it is presented in an abstract manner without the aid of concrete learning media. This highlights the need for a more contextual and easily understood learning approach. This study aims to improve students’ addition skills through the use of concrete learning media in the form of Dienes Blocks in Grade I at SDN Srengseng Sawah 12 Pagi. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR) following the Kemmis and McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of 29 students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The results showed improvement in three aspects of student ability: (1) understanding of addition concepts increased from 56.67% (low) to 76.67% (good); (2) ability to solve problems rose from 65.51% (fair) to 86.20% (good); and (3) ability to explain concepts using the media improved from 70.34% (fair) to 89.65% (very good). Thus, the use of concrete media such as Dienes Blocks has proven effective in helping students grasp the concept of addition, enhance active participation, and support a more meaningful learning process.

Abstract

Agroindustri merupakan bagian atau subsistem dari agribisnis yang memproses dan mentransformasikan produk mentah hasil pertanian menjadi barang setengah jadi atau barang jadi yang dapat langsung dikonsumsi atau dapat langsung digunakan sebagai bahan baku agroindustri ,lokasi penelitihan ini berada di dua desa yaitu desa bintang meriah dan desa sidodadi kedua desa ini berda di kec.Batang Kuis.Kab.Deli Serdang.Sumatra Utara,metode penelitihan yang di gunakan kelompok penelitih yaitu kualitafi Penulis menggunakan metode penelitihan ini,untuk meninjau besaran data lapangan terkait lahan pertanian dan kegiatan Agroindustri. Terdapat perbedaan yang cukup signifikan dari kegiatan kedua desa yang peneliti kaji Dimana desa Sidodadi memproduksi jagung dan desa Bintang meriah memproduksi Padi. Hal tersebut tentunya bisa membawa dampak yang baik seperti kedua desa tersebut saling melengkapi keperluan satu sama lain sehingga menciptakan interaksi antar desa. Desa Sidodadi memproduksi jagung menjadi sebuah olahan makanan dan pakan ternak sedangkan desa Bintang Meriah memproduksi padi menjadi beras yang kemudian akan dipasarkan ke Masyarakat.
