Abstract

This program generally aims to apply the result of research while the specific objectives are : (1) directing the attitudes and behaviour of teenagers in accordance  with values of local wisdom, (2) instilling a sense of love for national language and culture, (3) instilling a sense of love for regional languages and cultures, (4) inculcating the respect and the tolerance for other languages and other cultures, (5) instilling the universality and the unity of national languages, and (6) fostering the language creativity as a form of teenagers socio-cultural resilience where located at SMA Negeri 4 Purwokerto as a form of applying research results with the title "Adaptasi Model Monolinguistik Prancis dan Eksistensi Lembaga Budaya dalam Meningkatkan Ketahanan Lingua Franka” In this case, the methods used are: presentation, discussion, and practice. Finally, the indicators of success are measured through evaluations with pre-test and post-test in order to determine the effectiveness of the French monolinguistic.

Abstract

Abstract. In Mandarin there is a suffix that causes a phonological process, namely in the word with the suffix addition to the suffix -r,called erhuayun (儿化韵). The purpose of this study was to analyze phonology in the word that has a suffix -r in Mandarin using a generative phonological approach. Data is obtained from Chinese subject books. The results in this study are in the word with the affix suffix -r divided into two, namely not experiencing phonological processes and experiencing phonological processes. Words that do not undergo phonological processes are in words with the sound suffixes /a/,/e/ and /u/. The phonological process that occurs in the word suffix -r is in the form of the addition of sound and sound absorption. The addition of sounds occurs when the sound /ü/ appears before the suffix -r. Sound suction occurs in words with the sound suffixes /n/, /ŋ/, /I/ and /o/. Phonological processes are described using distinctive feature rules.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Salah satu negara tujuan promosi PT Media Nusantara Citra adalah negara dengan aliran investasi asing besar di Asia, yaitu China. Sehingga profil perusahaan harus tersedia ke dalam bahasa Mandarin agar dapat digunakan sebagai bahan promosi dalam pembuatan video profil, website resmi, profil perusahaan dalam bentuk cetak dan lainnya. Metode komunikatif merupakan metode yang digunakan dalam penerjemahan naskah profil perusahaan MNC Group. Metode ini digunakan karena sangat memperhatikan efektivitas dengan menekankan isi pesan dan makna kontekstual secara tepat lewat sudut pandang pembaca dan tujuan penerjemahan tersebut. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penulisan ini adalah mengetahui proses penerapan metode penerjemahan komunikatif untuk menghasilkan naskah profil perusahaan MNC Group berbahasa Mandarin. Penulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan proses penerapan metode penerjemahan komunikatif pada naskah profil perusahaan MNC Group. Setelah melalui proses penerjemahan, warga negara China akan melakukan penilaian terhadap hasil terjemahan. Berdasarkan penilaian warga negara China, hasil terjemahan dengan menggunakan metode komunikatif memiliki tingkat keterbacaan yang dapat disimpulkan keterbacaan dan keberterimaannya. Abstract

Previously, instruction in Japanese and Mandarin listening courses (Choukai and Tingli) was conducted through a monotonous learning process. Observations and brief interviews indicated that students typically absorb knowledge from lecturers without engaging in cognitive processes such as translation, comprehension, analysis, or the formulation of analogous examples. This leads to students being passive and even neglecting the learning process. In listening comprehension, although it may seem that the sole activity involves auditory engagement with audio or spoken language other processes are required, particularly for advanced listening courses. In advanced semester courses, students must comprehend more than just the auditory material. The objective of this research is to determine the efficacy of the cooperative learning paradigm in enhancing listening abilities. This study is a quantitative experimental investigation featuring a pre-test prior to treatment and a post-test after treatment. Data gathering methods are conducted through the administration of tests and observations. The cooperative learning strategy implemented in the Choukai and Tingli courses will engage students actively and creatively in analyzing audio and generating additional case studies from diverse perspectives.
