Abstract

Mata pelajaran matematika sampai sekarang ini masih menjadi momok bagi banyak siswa. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara di sekolah dasar, ternyata masih saja hasil belajar matematika rendah hal ini kemungkinan terjadi dikarenakan banyak faktor salah satunya materi yang sulit ataupun dalam proses pembelajaran matematika karena konsep matematika adalah konsep yang mempunyai tingkat abstraksi yang cukup tinggi. Konsep matematika adalah konsep dari dinamika kehidupan yang disimbolkan dengan bahasa matematis dan diselesaikan menggunakan logika matematika yang terkadang begitu abstrak, dengan demikian peneliti tertarik untuk mengembangkan desain pembelajaran pembelajaran berbasis domain kognitif dengan pendekatan kontekstual agar konsep matematika dapat disampaikan lebih real. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan observasi dengan para pendidik di SD Negeri 7 Kelapa banyak pendidik yang kesulitan dalam menyampaikan konsep matematika. Untuk itu peneliti menawarkan solusi untuk merancang desain pembelajaran berbasis domain kognitif dengan pendekatan kontekstual. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan ADDIE yaitu Analisys, Design, Depelopment, Implementation dan Evaluation. Subjek penelitian yaitu Guru dan siswa Kelas 4 Sekolah Dasar. Teknik Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan Angket. Penelitian ini menghasilkan desain pembelajaran berbasis domain kognitif yang sangat layak dengan persentase dari persentase respon guru sebesar 80,41% dan respon siswa sebesar 80, 59%.

Abstract

This community service is in the form of a workshop on preparing proposals, implementing, and writing reports on the results of Classroom Action Research (CAR) for SPM and MTs mathematics teachers in Tempilang District, West Bangka Regency. The background of this activity is the mandate of RI Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning National Education System which states that teachers must be professional and increase their capacity. One of them is through PTK. When going up to rank, teachers must make a CAR. Then PTK can improve the quality of learning in the classroom. However, not all teachers were able to compile proposals, implement, write CAR reports properly. So that this activity is held with the aim that teachers can improve the quality of learning in the classroom and can improve their professionalism through CAR. The workshop method with three activities, namely the initial activities include: an explanation of the theory of CAR and the importance of CAR. Practical activities include; find the background and title of the CAR, present it, and discuss the results of the presentation. Assistance activities include: assisting during the implementation of CAR, discussing problems that occur in the field, guiding the writing of CAR results. The workshop was held for two days and mentoring for two months. The results obtained are increasing teacher capacity in preparing proposals, implementing, and writing CAR reports. This can be seen from all the teachers writing down the background of the problem and the title of the CAR, half of the participants did the CAR, and only two participants collected the CAR report. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa workshop penyusunan proposal, pelaksanaan, dan penulisan laporan hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) bagi guru matematika SPM dan MTs di Kecamatan Tempilang Kabupaten Bangka Barat. Adapun latar belakang kegiatan ini adalah amanah Undang-undang RI Nomor 20 tahun 2003 tentang Sisdiknas yang menyatakan bahwa guru harus profesional dan meningkatkan kapasitas dirinya. Salah satunya melalui PTK. Ketika akan naik pangkat pun guru wajib membuat PTK. Kemudian PTK dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas. Namun guru belum semuanya mampu untuk menyusun proposal, pelaksaaan, penulisan laporan PTK dengan baik. Sehingga diadakan kegiatan ini dengan tujuan agar guru dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas serta dapat meningkatkan profesionalistasnya melalui PTK. Adapun metode workshop dengan tiga kegiatan yaitu kegiatan awal meliputi: penjelasan mengenai teori PTK dan pentingnya PTK. Kegiatan praktik meliputi; mencari latar belakang dan judul PTK, mempresentasikannya, dan mendiskusikan hasil presentasi. Kegiatan pendampingan meliputi: mendampingi selama pelaksanaan PTK, mendiskusikan masalah yang terjadi dilapangan, membimbing penulisan hasil PTK. Workshop diadakan selama dua hari dan pendampingan selama dua bulan. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu peningkatan kapasitas guru dalam menyusun proposal, melaksanakan, dan menuliskan laporan PTK. Hal tersebut dapat terlihat dari semua guru menuliskan latar belakang masalah dan judul PTK, setengah dari peserta melakukan PTK, dan hanya dua orang peserta yang mengumpulkan laporan hasil PTK.

Abstract

Computational Thinking (CT) is one of the important thinking skills in the 21st century. However, mathematics has not been widely developed in the classroom learning process. The results of the initial study show that there is no student worksheet based on compuational thinking for high school students. This study aims to develop a Student Worksheet (LKPD) based on Computational Thinking the derivatives of algebra function of for high school students. This type of research is development research with ADDIE model development research design. The steps are analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subjects were high school students of grade 11 who received material on the derivatives of algebraic functions. The research instruments were  student worksheet as a development product, expert validation questionnaires, teacher practicality questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The product developed in this study is a CT-based math worksheet for the derivatives of algebraic functions for high school students. This product is validated by material experts and mathematics learning experts. Furthermore, the practitioner test by high school mathematics teachers and questionnaire responses by high school students, the number of students are 20 people. The results of this study are the Mathematics Student Worksheets based on Computational Thinking material for the derivatives of algebra fuction for high school students that are valid and practical. The resulting LKPD contains CT steps, namely abstraction, generalization, decomposition, algorithmic, debugging. This worksheet is one way to integrate computational thinking in mathematics learning.
