Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dari aspek yang berbeda terhadap hari suci Saraswati yakni mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan dan catur guru dalam hari suci Saraswati. Nilai-nilai pendidikan Hindu yang terdapat dalam hari suci Saraswati secara garis besarnya atau pokok-pokoknya sesuai dengan tri kerangka dasar agama Hindu. Dalam pemaknaan hari suci Saraswati terdapat pula ajaran agama Hindu tentang guru yang terdiri atas Tuhan (Swadyaya), Pemerintah (Wisesa), Guru di sekolah (Pengajian) dan Orang Tua (rupaka) yang disebut dengan istilah catur guru.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the world of education in Indonesia. The transformation of the face-to-face learning system in the classroom into an online learning system is a very important and urgent problem faced by the world of education. Since the beginning of the pandemic until now, the issue of learning online systems has been the focus of various studies. However, research on online learning at the Tampung Penyang State Hindu Institute (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya is not yet available. Researchers are interested in studying online system learning at IAHN-TP Palangka Raya with a focus on problems how is the online system learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic at IAHN-TP Palangka Raya.The theory used to examine and describe the formulation of the research problem is the theory of phenomenology and the theory of the learning process. The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological research method with an emic approach. Data obtained from observations, interviews, and document studies. Furthermore, the data obtained are reduced, presented, and a conclusion is drawn.The data studied and analyzed using phenomenological theory and learning process theory show the following points, preparations made by lecturers in the online system learning process include the preparation of more detailed teaching materials, more interesting teaching techniques, the availability of learning tools, and the availability of internet networks. The implementation of learning is done virtual asynchronously and collaboratively synchronously by applying RQA and HOTS. Evaluation of learning outcomes is carried out online in the form of multiple choice of questions and self-analysis.Kata Kunci : learning process, online learning, learning during covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Tujuan tulisan ini adalah untuk mengali dan memberikan deskripsi pola pendidikan yang telah diterapkan dalam pendidikan Hindu. Pola Pendidikan agama Hindu mengunakan ajaran dan konsep-konsep Hindu sebagai landasan dan inspirasi untuk mengembangkan pendidikan, baik dari visi, misi, tujuan, capaian pembelajaran (learning outcome), metode pengajaran, strategi pembelajaran serta metode evaluasi dalam pendidikan Hindu. Ajaran serta konsep-konsep pendidikan yang ideal sangat banyak dalam Hindu. Konsep-konsep pendidikan dalam Hindu sepatutnya yang dikembangkan oleh lembaga - lembaga pendidikan Hindu maupun guru-guru agama Hindu sehingga pendidikan agama Hindu benar - benar dapat mengwujudkan tujuan agama dan tujuan manusia dalam dunia ini.

Abstract

The moral crisis is no longer a simple case but has serious consequences for the students, meanwhile to build a developed country it is necessary to have a young generation with noble character and character. This personality case can be seen from the existence of student brawls, juvenile delinquency, crime among young people, and so on. The phenomenon that occurs in several areas in South Barito Regency proves that this character education crisis also occurs in the region where juvenile delinquency is rampant and has entered the realm of crime. The role of Hindu religious instructors in character education for the younger generation in South Barito Regency is to teach knowledge about religious teachings and train religious skills. To do this, Hindu religious instructors also guide and motivate the younger generation to be diligent and study hard and be involved in the activities carried out. Hindu religious instructors also set an example for the younger generation in appearance and behavior in accordance with the teachings of goodness. The role of the Hindu religious instructor is to bring about a change in the character of the young generation of Hindus in South Barito Regency for the better.

Abstract

Lagu keagamaan tidak hanya sebuah lagu biasa yang dinyanyikan di Pasraman, tetapi lagu keagamaan adalah sebuah lagu dengan lirik yang memuat ajaran tentang pendidikan agama Hindu. Berdasarkan observasi yang penulis lakukan, terdapat perbedaan antara harapan dan kenyataan yang menghasilkan suatu gap, selain itu berdasarkan hasil pencarian literature kepustakaan yang serupa, masih banyak bahkan belum ada yang mengkaji terkait peran lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu. Penelitian ini terfokus pada peran lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu di Pasraman Kota Palangka Raya dengan rumusan masalah yakni bagaimana peran dan fungsi lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu di Pasraman Kota Palangka Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatkan hasil yakni, peran lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu sebagai berikut: 1) Pemotivasi peningkatan keimanan, 2) Pengembang pendidikan karakter, dan 3) Pedoman interaksi sosial. Fungsi lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu yakni: 1) Meningkatkan keimanan, 2) Mengembangkan pendidikan karakter, dan 3) Meningkatkan hidup bersosialisasi.

Abstract

Agama telah diketahui sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Berbagaimacam aspek kehidupan manusia sering dinyatakan berhubungan dengan agama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengekplorasi dan memahami peran agama dalam kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat Hindu di desa Garung kecamatan Jabiren Raya Kabupaten Pulang Pisau. Metode deskriptif kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini melalui Teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan mengunakan teknik analisis data mulai dari kondensasi, display dan verifikasi atau penarikan keseimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keyakinan keagamaan masyarakat Hindu di desa Garung merupakan keyakinan yang diyakini secara kuat yang sudah ada dari sejak awal mula yang merupakan wahyu dari Tuhan yang Maha Esa. Kehidupan social ekonomi masyarakat Hindu di desa Garung sangat beragam. Agama memiliki peran dalam kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat Hindu di desa Garung. Abstract

This thesis examines the strategies of Hindu religious teachers in overcoming the limited resources of Hindu education at SMPN Gunung Bintang Awai District. The phenomenon that occurs is the limited number of Hindu religious teaching books, journals, pictures and symbols of the Hindu religion, the difficulty of the internet network which causes the learning of Hinduism to be less or not optimal. This research aims to examine and describe the strategies of Hindu religious teachers in overcoming the limited resources of Hindu education. This thesis uses a qualitative descriptive method with an emic approach. The results of the analysis studied using theory explain the strategies implemented by teachers at SMPN Gunung Bintang Awai District, namely participating in training, group work, accessing material from the internet, increasing teacher creativity, textbooks as learning resources and utilizing the learning environment. At SMPN Gunung Bintang Awai District, the use of educational resources is still not optimal because the availability of educational resources in these schools is still insufficient, teachers are less creative and innovative in overcoming limited learning resources such as conducting research and making learning books or modules.

Abstract

Religiosity is currently an aspect of human life that has become one of the main topics in studies or research conducted by experts or scientists in various fields. Previous studies have not examined religiosity and pregnancy in Balinese ethnic Hindu communities in transmigration areas. This study aims to explore and understand the influence of religiosity on pregnancy in Balinese ethnic Hindu communities in Mantaren II village, Kahayan Hilir sub-district, Pulang Pisau Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. This research uses a qualitative phenomenological method approach. Data were collected using semi-structured interviews and analysed by condensation, display and verification. Religiosity has an influence in life related to pregnancy that occurs in the Balinese ethnic Hindu community that has been married as seen from the existence of various activities and actions when the wife in the family is experiencing pregnancy such as praying, praying, offering offerings, and carrying out ceremonies for pregnancy.

Abstract

The misuse of customary traditions often leads to social conflict. This study examines a specific social conflict arising from the misapplication of sacred Hindu Kaharingan symbols by a Christian couple during their wedding ceremony in Tumbang Batian Village, Murung Raya Regency, Central Kalimantan. This region, particularly Kalimantan, is known for its religious diversity and rich cultural heritage. The findings indicate that the couple's actions caused significant unrest and protest among the Hindu Kaharingan community, who perceived it as a violation of ritual sanctity. This research underscores the importance of religious moderation as a conflict resolution approach. This case highlights existing societal conflicts, and thus, this study aims to address the incident by identifying its triggering factors and exploring resolution methods through the lens of religious moderation. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing literature reviews and interviews with customary elders and family members. Triangulation techniques were also applied to enhance data validity by comparing findings from various sources and ensuring information consistency. The research results show that the symbols used in Christian traditional wedding rituals are a form of respect from the bride and groom to their ancestors.
