Abstract

Opportunities and challenges of globalization requires a superior human resources and competitively, which needs to be responded positively by the Islamic education. These opportunities need to be met by utilizing all the positive potential of globalization, disseminating the values of Islam to the world as an attempt to save mankind from viruses skularisasi who ignore the spiritual dimension in man. In addition, Islamic education should develop spiritual-based education vigorously supported by teachers, learners and  educational organizations full support prophetic transformational leadership.

Abstract

This study sought to describe the criticism of Al-Jabri Reason stagnation prevailing Salama Islamic Arab and Islamic awakening solutions to epistemology. Expected benefits of this study is to demonstrate the interconnectivity aspect, even unity between fragments in the general conception of Reason Arabic of Islam. The approach used is epistimologi approach (philosophy) associated with science, philosophy of science that concerns the structure which includes ontology, epistemology and axiology. Because the philosophy of science is in Arabic Arabic culture, it would require an additional approach that historical approach. The goal is to discover the fundamental structure of Arabic culture related to the philosophy of science. The conclusion of this study is the study of Islamic Epistemology ala al-Jabri is a paradigm combines Bayani, Irfani and Burhani, who developed dynamically based Rationalism-Burnani toward a future revival of the Islamic world.

Abstract

Rasulullah SAW was successful in becoming a uswatun hasanah (good leader and role model). This field research aims to determine the prophetic values in leadership of Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah schools and percentage of their implementation. Research was carried out with a purposive technique in primary and secondary education Muhamamdiyah schools in Yogyakarta, with the subject being the principal. The data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis technique was carried out descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that prophetic values in Muhammadiyah school leadership in Yogyakarta found four main values that exist in all Muhammadiyah schools: i) adopting a collegial collective leadership system; ii) based on faith; iii) oriented towards the quality of progressing schools; and iv) applying ta'awun (cooperation). The highest percentage of implementation of prophetic values based on 3 aspects (humanization, liberation, and transcendence) was found at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Condongcatur and Muhammadiyah Vocational School Pakem at 92.9%.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology in the present era has permeated various fields, including education. In the educational field, technology can serve as a tool for learning. This greatly aids educators in fostering creativity in their teaching within the classroom. One such tool is based on powerpoint media, which is expected to enhance the learning outcomes of students. However, in reality, many educators still struggle to use or master the powerpoint media that is prevalent today. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing based on powerpoint media in the Islamic Education (PAI) learning process to improve the learning outcomes of ninth-grade students at SMP N 3 Kasihan Bantul Yogyakarta. This study employs a quantitative approach with a population of 156 students, comprising all ninth-grade students from classes A to E. The sample consists of 110 students selected through random sampling. Data collection methods include questionnaires, pre-tests, and post-tests, as well as documentation. Data are analyzed using simple linear regression statistical tests. The research findings indicate that the application of powerpoint media in the Islamic Education (PAI) learning process is effective in enhancing the learning outcomes of ninth-grade students at SMP N 3 Kasihan Bantul. This is evidenced by the simple linear regression analysis, which explains that the calculated F-value (39.528) is greater than the tabulated F-value (1.92), with a significant value of 0.001, which is less than 0.05. Thus, the implementation of powerpoint media in Islamic education is effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of religious teachers in facilitating the socio-developmental tasks of adolescents at MA Wahid Hasyim. The approach employed integrates Vygotsky's theory, which emphasizes the significance of social interaction in learning, with the pesantren tradition, focusing on character development grounded in religious values. In the modern educational context, religious teachers play a pivotal role in guiding students through the process of social development, particularly in helping them attain age-appropriate social maturity. Employing a combination of surveys and interviews, this research involved 30 students aged 16-18 from grades 10 to 12 as participants. Preliminary findings indicate that religious teachers play a significant role in fostering a supportive environment for positive social interaction, however, the study has yet to fully explore the extent to which students have achieved the desired level of social maturity. Future research is needed to delve deeper into the level of social maturity among students within the pesantren educational context and its implications for their future development.
