Abstract

The environment is an object of unlimited biological studies. However, not every object is the scope of biological studies. To raise the potential of the surrounding environment to be an object of useful biological study needs a series of analysis process first. This study aims to analyze the potential of the surrounding environment that can be used as a biological learning resource. Based on the findings it is found that to raise the environment as a learning resource can be done through the steps: 1) analyzing the curriculum (KI, KD, and learning objectives); 2) ensuring the relevance of the chosen method with consideration; 3) ensuring the relevance of the chosen method with consideration of material characteristics to be taught; 4) determine the characteristics of student development with local geographic background; and 5) to ensure potential sources of learning from the environment by considering the relevance, adequacy, and consistency of the material with the applicable curriculum, the learning objectives to be achieved, and the achievement level of the learning materials.

Abstract

It is known that several Islamic religion teachers in Yogyakarta, Indonesia have not made maximum use of videos in their learning. The purpose of this study was to develop learning videos for Islamic religious education in grade IV elementary schools, to test the quality of feasibility, and its application in learning, and to measure the effectiveness of using video media on student achievement. This study used a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), and the data were collected using questionnaires, tests, and documentation and analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that the product of learning video using the Wondershare Filmora application has met the eligibility quality in line with the small test results of media experts and material experts. The application of video media could run smoothly and enjoyably. The video was found to be capable of facilitating the learning process. The results of the student's assessment of the video for the readability test were very good. The video was found very effective in use in Islamic religious education learning and was capable of improving student achievement. Students' understanding was found to get better after learning with video, thus improving their learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aimed to discover whether there were misconceptions about Islamic religious education learning materials and manners regarding the theme of the beauty of household mahligai to students. This type of research is a qualitative literature review with a naturalistic approach. In this case, the researcher examines books, journals, theses, and other sources that discuss textbooks on Islamic religious education and morals and the book of Qurrotul Uyun. The data collection technique used in this is a documentary literature review with the object of discussion in question. Data in the library is processed by editing, organising, and finding. Researchers used content analysis in this study. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the misconceptions in the PAI and Characteristics books for grade 12 were related to students, teachers, textbooks, context, and methods. Suppose the categories of misconceptions are sorted from largest to smallest. In that case, they are found in PAI books and manners for class 12, namely oversimplifications, misidentifications, over generalisations, under generalisations and obsolete concepts and terms. None of the textbook’s analytical material is free from misconceptions.

Abstract

Sebagai sebuah negeri yang kaya akan perabadannya, Mesir memiliki sebuah Universitas yang telah divalidasi oleh kalangan umat Muslim di seluruh dunia karena mampu melahirkan dan mencetak ulama-ulama besar selama beberapa dekade terakhir. Penelitian Kualitatif berbasis library research dengan menggunakan metode analisis kritis ini diarahkan kepada upaya untuk menelaah secara komprehensif kebijakan pendidikan Islam di Al-Azhar pada masa kontemporer, mulai dari konsep dan tujuan pendidikan, sistem pendidikan, sumber daya, struktur kelembagaan Al-Azhar, pemilihan Grand Syekh Al-Azhar serta perbandingannya dengan sistem pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menemukan beberapa arah kebijakan pendidikan yang cukup berbeda dengan kebijakan pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia. Beberapa diantaranya adalah tujuan pendidikan yang diarahkan agar pesera didik mencapai kebahagian di dunia dan diakhirat melalui penguasaan terkait pemahaan agama, bahasa serta budaya; tidak adanya skripsi maupun tugas harian dan mingguan, dan diktat yang ditulis oleh para dosen pengampu merupakan bahan utama ujian akhir.

Abstract

Rasulullah SAW was successful in becoming a uswatun hasanah (good leader and role model). This field research aims to determine the prophetic values in leadership of Yogyakarta Muhammadiyah schools and percentage of their implementation. Research was carried out with a purposive technique in primary and secondary education Muhamamdiyah schools in Yogyakarta, with the subject being the principal. The data collection techniques used questionnaires, interviews, and documentation, while the data analysis technique was carried out descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that prophetic values in Muhammadiyah school leadership in Yogyakarta found four main values that exist in all Muhammadiyah schools: i) adopting a collegial collective leadership system; ii) based on faith; iii) oriented towards the quality of progressing schools; and iv) applying ta'awun (cooperation). The highest percentage of implementation of prophetic values based on 3 aspects (humanization, liberation, and transcendence) was found at Muhammadiyah Elementary School Condongcatur and Muhammadiyah Vocational School Pakem at 92.9%.

Abstract

Background: Desa Pokak, Ceper, Klaten terdapat salah satu majelis taklim Al-Muttaqien Husnul Khotimah yang beranggotakan mayoritas para lansia. Oleh karena kurang dalam ilmu manajemen, maka selama ini majelis taklimnya hanya berjalan apa adanya. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan manajemen program jamaah MT Al-Muttaqien Husnul Khotimah. Metode: Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan selama 8 bulan. Tahapan pengabdian meliputi: analisis kebutuhan dengan melakukan observasi dan interview pengurus MT, mengurus perizinan, penyusunan rencana program, pelaksanaan program, evaluasi program dan penyusunan laporan dan luaran. Hasil: Kegiatan-kegiatan yang berhasil dilaksanakan meliputi: sosialisasi, pembuatan ID card jamaah MT, pelatihan content creator dan pembentukan tim kreatif MT, pelatihan keorganisasian MT, penataan struktur organisasi MT, penyusunan program MT, pendaftaran izin operasional MT ke Kemenag Klaten, serta implementasi rencana program MT yakni pelatihan perawatan jenazah. Adapun terkait subsidi alat pendukung kegiatan MT berupa trolli/gerobak pengangkut alat hadroh dan pengadaan alat hadroh berupa 3 bass. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mengedukasi masyarakat dalam mengelola organisasi yang baik, memberdayakan masyarakat untuk dapat mandiri dan berdayaguna baik di bidang religi maupun dalam keterampilan yang berguna bagi kehidupan di masyarakat, meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir dan meningkatkan keimanan masyarakat dalam memahami ilmu agama Islam, serta mempererat tali persaudaraan dalam satu majelis taklim melalui kegiatan-kegiatan sosial.

Abstract

Kaum disabilitas tunagrahita sering mengalami kesulitan dalam praktik keterampilan hidup sehari-hari seperti merawat diri sendiri dan pelaksanaan ibadah. Hal ini karena kemampuan kognitif dan adaptif yang rendah. Kesulitan tersebut perlu diatasi melalui kegiatan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video tutorial berbasis simulasi sebagai media pembelajaran yang layak dan efektif guna meningkatkan keterampilan mandi wajib bagi penyandang tunagrahita. Penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D Thiagarajan. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, tes, dan angket. Uji coba produk dilakukan melalui review ahli, uji coba terbatas, dan uji coba skala luas. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Review para ahli menunjukkan bahwa video tutorial mandi wajib ini layak untuk digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mandi wajib bagi penyandang tunagrahita. Uji coba terbatas di SLBN 2 Yogyakarta menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keterbacaan media sebesar 81,11 (baik) dengan peningkatan keterampilan mandi wajib 80%. Penerapan uji luas di SLBN 1 Yogyakarta menunjukkan tingkat keterbacaan media sebesar 92,36 (baik) dan di SLBN Pembina 86 (baik). Media ini efektif meningkatkan keterampilan mandi wajib pada peserta didik tunagrahita di SLBN 1 Yogyakarta sebesar 85,33% dan SLBN Pembina sebesar 81,33%. Media video tutorial mandi wajib ini dapat terus dikembangkan untuk disabilitas lainnya. Hal ini semakin mendukung rencana strategis UII yaitu Pembangunan Inklusif Mewujudkan Masyarakat Madani Yang Berdaya Saing Tinggi Menghadapi Era Industri 4.0 dan Society 5.0.

Abstract

Model inovasi dalam pengembangan KOSP menjadi bagian yang sangat penting, pasalnya menjadi tolak ukur keberhasilan pembelajaran yang tercermin lewat pemahaman siswa akan materi yang telah disampaikan. Tujuan  penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis model inovasi dalam pengembangan KOSP di SMA se Kabupaten Sleman, sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif studi lapangan (field research). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, wawancara, dan observasi. Analisis data meliputi reduksi data, display data, penarikan kesimpulan, dan verifiksai. Temuan penelitian ini, pertama, penyusunan KOSP sudah mengikuti prosedur pemerintah. Kedua, karakteristik yang dikembangkan fokus pada budaya Yogyakarta dan berwawasan lingkungan yang dimanifestasikan dalam setiap program. Ketiga, model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah gabungan model the grass-roots dan the administrative. Keempat, program dalam pengembangan di bidang PAI sangat bervariatif di setiap sekolah. Ada beberapa persamaan di sekolah yaitu peningkatan kualitas dalam membaca Al-qur’an, pesantren Ramadhan, pembiasaan salat berjamaah, dan kajian keputrian.

Abstract

Mosque youths play an important role in fostering and empowering the people and in spreading Islamic teachings to the community. Therefore, mosque youth must be equipped with the right competencies, especially in terms of organization and other skills. This community service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of mosque youth in da'wah communication. This community service was carried out at the Al-Hikmah Mosque in Ganggong Hamlet, Bangunkerto Village, Kapanewonan Turi, Sleman Regency, Yogyakarta Special Province. The object targeted in this service is the youth of the mosque. Some of the methods used include focus group discussions (FGD), lecture methods, and public speaking science-based da’wah communication practices among teenagers. The stages of the activity include training on the management of mosque youth organizations, public speaking training, training on creating da’wah content in offline and online media/social media, and monitoring and evaluation. The results of this community service show that all community service programs have been carried out properly. Specifically, mentoring mosque youth has provided knowledge and practices related to da’wah through both offline and online media. Mosque youth partners know the benefits and can apply several techniques to create interesting and attractive da’wah content on social media. Additionally, mosque youth can effectively organize the management of mosque youth organizations as one of the pillars driving Islamic da’wah in society. Furthermore, the synergy between mosque youth and takmir (mosque management) has become an asset and reinforces the sustainability of Islamic da’wah in the local community.

Abstract

The research aims to determine: the philosophical, doctrinal, and sociological foundations behind the da'wah orientation; da'wah strategy; and the transformation of religious prayer Mafia congregations. This qualitative research uses the method of observation, documentation, and interviews. The results showed that: Gus Ali Gondrong with his Mafia Sholawat preferred the Bengali community as the object of his da'wah. Gus Ali Gondrong's da'wah strategy used various media including: physical media, verbal, and amaliah media. Sholawat accompanied by music and Sufi dances, the tausyiah conveyed by Gus Ali was non-judgmental and able to embrace the bengal community. Third, Gus Ali Gondrong's da'wah strategy uses Berger and Luckmann's theoretical framework by using a dialectical process experienced by humans through three momentums, namely: externalization, objectivation, and internalization. The transformation of the congregation is evidenced by changes in attitudes, behavior, and commitment to religious teachings; feel like a better human being, act the right way; as well as a change in the principle of religious life towards a more firm and clear direction. This research can contribute to development of more contextual and effective da'wah theories and strategies in dealing with ignorance, especially in the Javanese context.
