Abstract

This paper highliths the study of Jewish concepts in the Koran by applying contextual interpretation theory of Abdullah Saeed. Broadly speaking this theory is not only focused on linguistic studies (textualism), but also focuses on the study of the social context and history of the Koran (contextualism) in order to give meaning intact towards the Qur'an in order to make relevant to the needs and circumstances of Muslims. Furthermore, the purpose of this study is also to answer the ambiguity in understanding Jewish concepts in the Koran including the understanding contained in the Qur'an which in this case its meaning becomes an important matter to be studied more deeply before obtaining a universal conclusion from the meanings of the verses has a diversity of meanings. Thus, the characteristics of the Koran as a book that can be received from previous generations to date "Salih li kulli zaman wa makan 'is always fulfilled.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and describe the use of da'wah media in worship. This research method uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Data collection techniques: interviews, observation, documentation. Data management: reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Data validation techniques: triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of the research show: (1) worship activities: congregational prayers, recitation, tadarus, dhikr, taklim assemblies, and other educational activities. (2) worship media: (a) yellow book: the book of safinatunnajah which contains the science of fiqh (the foundations of Islam) and the book of nashohibul ibad about the science of tasawuf. (b) loudspeakers: for the call to prayer, recitation, and religious lecture activities. (c) Digital Clock: to indicate the time of prayer and other worship. (d) supporting Al-Qur'an: to put the Al-Qur'an when reciting. (d) charity box: to store money from donations (charity) of the community. Conclusion: the media for worship at the mosque has been used very well. The best suggestion: mosque managers add other media such as special sandals for ablution, a place to store prayer rugs and mukenah.

Abstract

The lack of integration between traditional zakat management methods at BAZNAS and LAZ with modern technology hinders efficiency. At the same time, the Sidogiri Amil Zakat Institution offers an innovative approach as a socio-economic force for the community. This study aims to explore and understand the implementation of zakat fund management at the Sidogiri Amil Zakat Institution. Using a qualitative approach and ethnographic methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data processing was carried out through condensation, presentation, and drawing conclusions, with data validity maintained through triangulation of techniques and sources. The research findings reveal several key results: 1) Zakat collection is actively conducted in various locations such as cities, districts, villages, residential areas, companies, shops, mosques, and through visits to communities and local leaders by collection officers. 2) Zakat funds are distributed in the form of zakat fitrah, money, staple needs such as rice, as well as assistance for orphans, scholarships, construction of worship facilities, and provision of clean water, in accordance with the principle of the eight eligible recipients. 3) Funded programs include assistance for underprivileged elderly individuals, while other programs, such as education, preaching, health, economy, humanitarian aid, and environmental efforts, do not utilize zakat funds. Conclusion: LAZ Sidogiri effectively manages the collection and distribution of zakat through various programs that help the recipients, support education, health, and economic initiatives to improve welfare and empower the community sustainably.
